Abstract: This paper introduces the principles and techniques of intelligent drilling which can be considered as a computer intelligent expert system with intelligent drill tools and information network system as the key technologies. In this paper, we have discussed the key technology of how to combine power transmission and high speed bidirectional information transmission “information superhighway” with drill tools, and also have introduced the design and development of intelligent drill tools specifically which Hilong company who possesses the independent intellectual property rights.

Abstract: Economy was compared for same building with price and cost of wall material, the other building materials (such as steel bars and pipe pile) and the cost for building energy efficiency. The results shown, Cost effect of wall material and cost difference of other building materials (such as steel bars and pipe pile) because of wall material weight difference are few for building cost. Building energy efficiency cost effect of wall material is significant for building cost. For high-rise frame structure, autoclaved aerated concrete block is inexpensive wall material.

Abstract: Analysis of the causes about the ejection seat in the ejection process, when the aircraft canopy is not throw away , ejection mechanism ignites advance. using the finite element method(FEM) to carry on the deformation analysis of the lock arm in the interlock device, defined the strength of the lowest parts of the lock arm, obtained the stress distribution graph of lock arm, which provides a theoretical reference for the interlock device on the optimal design.

Abstract: This paper introduced a new toilet design that can be moved conveniently and adjust the height of the pedestal pan to suit the needs for different customers. The main driving device in the support consists of gear and rack mechanism. The product satisfied the needs through testing of a prototype in the laboratory. The principle of the design and structure of the toilet are illustrated and provided ProE simulation. The possibility of practical application and cost analysis and application prospects are developed in this paper.

Abstract: In this paper, the underlying anhysteretic polarization is quantified through constitutive equations derived using Boltzmann statictics and Langevin model. The remanent polarization and the irreversible polarization are analyzed. A thermodynamic description of ferroelectric phenomena is proposed to address the coupling relations between electrical field and mechanical field by considering the series expansion of the elastic Gibbs energy function. A simple linear mapping hysteresis model based on theory of microscopic polarization is derived. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed model, a micro-positioning stage driven by the PZT in open-loop operation was used to test. The experimental results show that the proposed hysteresis model could precisely describe hysteresis phenomena. The fitting error is within 0.5%.

Abstract: Shape Memory Polymer Composites (SMPC) is a compound of resin matrix and fiber reinforced material. It has advantages of lager restoring force, lower density, higher stiffness and strength. The stiffness of laminate and thin walled tube using SMPC materials was discussed in this paper. Experiment was made to verify the different structures influences on deployment at the same temperature. The initial stiffness of laminate decrease at 40°C to 50°C, but that’s for tube was about 70°C to 80°C. It illustrated that the structural influence should also be concerned except the Tg. At the last of the paper, stiffness of laminate, tube and semicircular were calculated respectively to see the influence of structure at normal temperature.

Abstract: Numerical method was used to simulate the solidification process of zinc-aluminum alloy Zamak 5, shrinkage porosity of the zinc-aluminum alloy ingot with big diameter (114mm) was simulated using the shrinkage criterion, orthogonal test was designed to analysis the influence of different casting parameters as casting temperature, preheating temperature of the mold and the heat transfer coefficient between the mold and the environment. The result shows that the shrinkage value was minimal when the casting temperature was 480, the preheating temperature was 200 and the heat transfer coefficient was 200.

Abstract: This paper analyzes sensitivity, linearity, repeatability, strain relaxation of Carbon-coated Filaments (CCFS) in resistance tensile strain to evaluate CCFS’s sensing property. The results show that the relative resistance changes present two stages, change is stable in 0-6mm tensile range, while it amplitude increases in 6-15mm. CCFS’s linearity is better as number of filament increasing, while sensitivity is lower; if number is the same, CCFS sensitivity reduces as twist’s increasing. The 12F CCFS has poor repetitiveness and seriously flabby phenomenon when tensile change greatly.

Abstract: The resistance of Al-21%Cu alloy under no magnetic field, DC magnetic field and AC magnetic field from liquid to solid was measured by a four-probe method. The difference of resistance versus temperature curves (R-T curves) was analyzed. It is found that the R-T curves of Al-21%Cu alloy are monotone decreasing and have two obvious turning points. Under DC magnetic field, the liquidus and solidus temperatures of the alloy both decrease, while under AC magnetic field, the liquidus and solidus temperatures both increase. There is a good agreement between the microstructure of quenching sample and R-T curves. The mechanism of the effect of magnetic fields was discussed.
