Abstract: Fatigue failure of gears carrying heavy loads is the leading cause of gearbox breakdown in the large-scale earthmoving machinery. The fatigue life of gear is mainly determined by loads distribution. Taking the Wheel Loader as an example, this paper introduced an indirect test system of gear load under the loose soil conditions. Then the load data in time, amplitude and frequency field were respectively analyzed. The results show that the indirect measurement method proved workable, and the load data of gear is characterized by bi-modal. Therefore, to decrease statistical errors, mixture model must be adopted to fit these bi-modal signals.

Abstract: MOST bus protocol is a high speed multimedia transmission protocol which applies to the in-vehicle entertainment system to solve wiring difficulty, EMI and so on. However, with the increasing number and complexity of the in-vehicle entertainment devices, the energy consumption of system grows continuously. In the paper, a kind of the centralized power management based on the MOST networks is designed. The PowerMaster function in the MOST Master node can control and change the status of every device node by monitoring the running situation of the whole MOST networks. At last, the experiment indicates that the PowerMaster can manage the power supply of the MOST networks effectively. Under the control of the PowerMaster, the system energy cost is lower than before.

Abstract: The pH measuring instrument is mainly applied to measure the pH value of the solution, widely used in industry, agriculture, scientific research and environmental protection. The paper proposes a pH measuring system based on ARM.The measuring dataes of the pH composite coloured glaze electrode and the temperature sensor are put into ARM ADC channels , displaying the results of the pH and the temperature after analysing. Touch screen can operate corresponding actions,such as beginning,selecting,confirming. This instrument uses safely,can monitor real-time and fixedly , higher precision,which can be used in agricultural.

Abstract: G. Cortes Robles’ TRIZ (Russian acronym for “Theory of Inventive Problem Solving”)–CBR (Case-based reasoning) model has the capacity to accelerate conceptual design and to find inventive solutions. This paper describes how the TRIZ–CBR model can be enhanced by introducing the weight sensitivity. Of course, weight used to measure the relative importance of multiple attributes is a very important component of the similarity function, which has a great influence on the CBR results. By means of weight sensitivity analysis, the similar cases which possess high reference value among retrieved cases can be selected. A laundry drum product example was given to verify the validity of the model.

Abstract: Petaliform magnesium oxide nanomaterials were prepared by which the basic magnesium carbonate made from light burning powder of low grade magnesite were used as precursor. The XRD results indicated that aqueous magnesium carbonate changed to basic magnesium carbonate (4MgCO3•Mg(OH)2 •4H2O) when heating temperature reached 95°C, the SEM confirmed that the morpholoZgy of basic magnesium carbonate (4MgCO3•Mg(OH)2•4H2O) were petaliform, after calcinations the magnesium oxide with the same morphologies as precursors’ were obtained, simultaneously , the products with high activity (iodine value of 197mgI2/g).

Abstract: in order to optimize the air-pod shape, this paper details work conducted using the commercial CFD software package ANSYS: Fluent to simulate the aerodynamic of air-pod. In our research, the results as followed: 1) In the benchmark, our comparative analysis of the flow over the NASA 0012 airfoil from the Experimental Data Base for Computer Program Assessment (AGARD-AR-138, 1979) implies that the ANSYS: Fluent software package numerical method simulates the airfoil viscous flow with the same accuracy as the wind-tunnel experiment. We can use it to finish our research. 2) We build the 3-D model to compute the aerodynamic of the air-pod. We choose the cylinder at first step. From the results we can see the pressure and wall shear concentrate at the side face of the cylinder. The pressure at the side faces is about twice than the direct side. Next step we will compute different models, such as spherical and drop-shaped, et al. then we can compare the pressure and wall shear field value for different models at different conditions. This work gives us best way to optimize the aerodynamic shape of air-pod.

Abstract: Effects of different Mo contents on microstructures and properties of Ti-22.5Al-20Nb-2V(at.%) were analyzed in this paper. Experimental results showed that the grain size was refined and the amounts of equiaxed α2 phases decreased with increase of Mo from 0.6at.% to 1.5at.%. The size of (O+B2) lath was refined when Mo from 0.6at.% to 1.2at.%. However, it seems that Mo easily segregate especially in grain boundary and become seriously with Mo increased. Compression tests showed that the yield strength and ultimate strength of alloys were obviously improved with Mo addition from 0.6at.% to 1.2at.%. Microhardness tests showed the same trend with compression yield and ultimate strength.

Abstract: Design and R&D (Research and Development) of products play an important role in development and competitiveness of enterprise. How to do the works better We think that most advanced product design methodology should be used on design, research and development of products. So-called most advanced product design methodology is that based on “the Scientific Outlook on Development” that we set up recent years. New developments of product design methodology include: At first it has been classified that more than seventy theories and methods proposed by domestic and overseas scholars in recent 100 years; QCTES was instead of IQCTES including six requirements of product design; traditional design stages were replaced with four new stages including investigation, planning, implement and inspection; green design was replaced with harmonious design; traditional design method was replaced with deep-layer design method; concept and connotation of product top-layer design were proposed; more detailed contents of product systematic design were advanced; formulas of complete system and product design quality, and connection equation between design objective, design content and design method were submitted. We got good effects to apply above product design methodology on many product designs recent years.

Abstract: The effect of breathing and spill-protecting of the breathing valve on the vehicle oil can have great influences on the safety of the whole vehicle. The breathing valve is studied in this article, and a new two stage pressure- controlling spill-protecting breathing valve is designed. The 3D model of the breathing valve is built in Pro/E, and the kinetics analysis of the key point of the breathing valve is done in ADAMS, which can provide theoretic guidance for designer to optimize structure design.
