Abstract: The aquaporins (AQP) are a family of homologous water transporting proteins that are expressed in many epithelial, endothelial and other tissues. Myocardin is important for SMC differentiation, but its precise role in regulating the initiation of AQP1 transcription activity is less clear. Function analysis of AQP1 promoter luciferase reporter plasmid will provide the theory basis for researching the function of transcription activity. In this study, the rat and human myocardin promoter luciferase reporter construct were successfully constructed. Then to determine whether AQP1 transcription activity were regulated by myocardin, luciferase repoeter assays were performed in COS-7 cells. The results illustrated that myocardin significantly activated rat and human AQP1 promoter. AQP1 promoter transactivity was inhibited by △Q. The present study provided the first evidence that myocardin may have an influence on the expression of AQP1 and reveal a basis of the mechanism transcriptional regulation of AQP1.

Abstract: The effects of germination on physicochemical, morphological and rheological properties of rice starch from germ-remaining polished rice (GRPR) have been investigated. The properties of starches from raw GRPR, brown rice and germinated brown rice were also characterized as the comparison. The results showed that a decrease in amylose content was observed after germination and the amylose content of germinated GRPR was lower than that of germinated brown rice. Scanning electron microscopy did not reveal any distinct difference in the appearance of the starches except some slight alteration of the starch granule edges. Rheological investigation illustrated that the starches of GPRG with lower amylose content showed lower peak G’ in the four rice samples.

Abstract: The xylanase from Leveking was used in the experiment of bleached Soda-AQ pulp of fast-growing poplar. The suitable conditions of the xylanase from Leveking were obtained in the pretreatment of the Soda-AQ pulp of fast-growing poplar that temperature was 58°C, pH was 8.5, time was 120min and the dosage of the xylanase was 8IU/g. The pulp brightness was increased by 3.7%ISO when compared XDPQ and DPQ bleaching pulp under identical conditions. The pulp brightness was increased by 4.1%ISO when compared XDED and DED bleaching pulp under identical conditions. The untreated and pretreated Soda-AQ pulp of fast-growing poplar by the xylanase of two-dimensional and three dimensional figure of fiber surface under AFM were analyzed to explain the xylanase effect in the pulp bleaching theoretically.

Abstract: Abstract. Glucoamylase is an inducible enzyme and generally induced in the presence of starch. Corn starch, wheat starch, sweet potato starch and potato starch were used as the carbon sources to produce the glucoamylase by A. niger FJL0801. The results showed that the maximum glucoamylase activity was 594.511.7 U/mL when 4% sweet potato starch was used as the carbon source, its enzyme activity was increased by 34.9% than potato starch, by 17.2% than wheat starch and by 4.6% than corn starch. In the four media, the adaptive phage of A. niger FJL0801 were all 0-12 h, the logarithmic growth phase all 12-60 h, and the stationary phase all 60-192 h. The maximum biomass of the strain was 1.950.09 μg/mL in the corn starch medium. The glucoamylase activity was inversely proportional to the growth rate of A. niger FJL0801. The final pH value was all within 6.960.057.110.07 in the four midia. There was no significant difference at 0.05 probability level between the pH of the four media at the same fermentation time. The pH change was not the reason for glucoamylase activity by A. niger FJL0801 used different plant starch.

Abstract: Abstract:PurposeThe physicochemical properties of four Cross-linked sodium hyaluronate gels(CHA) with different cross-linking agents were conpared. In order to research out the different stability and Enzyme-resistant properties of these CHA.Methods The CHA hydrogels were prepared with different cross-linking agents, such as PEG20000, PDE, BDDE and ADH. The optimal reaction conditions were determined by single factor experiment. Dynamic viscosity was tested by Stabinger method. Intrinsic viscosity was tested by Uzziah's viscosity method. The in vitro Enzyme-resistant properties of CHA-gels were analysed by carbazole and spectrophotometry. Results The concentrations of NaOH/HCl, concentrations of HA and the ratio of cross-linking agent to HA were significant conditions which influenced the physicochemical properties of CHA gels. PDE-CHA and PEG20000 gels have best Dynamic viscosity, PDE-CHA gel has best Intrinsic viscosity, ADH-CHA and BDDE-CHA gels have better Enzyme-resistant properties than PEG20000-CHA and PDE-CHA gels. Conclusion The CHA-gel prepared under optimal reaction conditions have different physical and chemical properties, which set foundation for developing double cross-linked gel with both excellent stability and Enzyme-resistant properties.

Abstract: A low expense chloro-monomer, 1-(4'-chloro-1-benzoyl)-3-(4'-1-choro-benzene sulfonyl)-benzene(CBCBSB), was synthesized by the Friedel-Crafts reaction of m-chlorosu1fonyl benzoyl chloride with chlorobenzene. A novel poly (aryl ether sulfone ketone)s (PAESK) containing m-sulfonylbenzoyl linkages in the main chains were prepared by copolycondensation of CBCBSB with hydroquinone in N, N-Dimethylacetamide (DMAc). The structure of PAESK was confirmed by FT-IR, 1H-NMR and characterized by XRD. thermogravimetry (TG) and Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) were carried out to demonstrate its good melt processability. The polymer exhibited the better solubility in chloroform, N-methyl-2-pyrrlidone(NMP), dimethylacetamide(DMAC), dimethylformamide (DMF) and dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) and excellent mechanical performance.

Abstract: In order to detect human brain fatigue,we recorded EEG signals of 50 subjects by means of MP150 recorder system. The subjects were divided into two groups. One group was in mind fatigue state, the other was controled group who had full of energy. We analysed the EEG signals by wavelet packet decomposition method. After analysis and reconstructure operation,we got the α,β,γ,δ rhythm and the power spectrum distribution of these componengts.Compared with the control, the human in fatigue state have enhanced α wave and reduced β wave.So the conclusion is that the redistribution of α and β wave could regard as a potential diagnostic critera of brain fatigue.

Abstract: 3-Methyl-1-[2-(1-piperidiny) phenyl]-butyl amine (1) is an important intermediate for synthesis of Repaglinide, a well-known oral medicine for diabetes. It has been reported that 1 could be obtained from o-flurobenzaldehyde undergoing Grignard reaction, oxidition, piperidine substitution, oximation and reduction. In the process of reduction, the oximate 3-methyl-1-[2-(1-piperidiny) phenyl]-butyl oxime (6) was reduced by NiCl2-NaBH4 with many impurities, difficult workup, low yield and a lot of environmental problems. Herein the environmental friendly catalytic hydrogenation with simple work-up was developed and the yield was of 95.5%. The structure of 1 has been confirmed by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR.
