Abstract: The central and western region of Inner Mongolia is a high activity area of sandstorm in northern China, the infrastructures in this region have been long-time eroded by wind-sand environment, those durability and safety have been seriously affected. This paper analyzed the meteorological standards and geographical distribution characteristics of wind-sand environment, studied erosion mechanical parameters of wind-sand environment in the central and western region of Inner Mongolia. The results will provide the basis for protecting engineering materials and structures not to erode by wind-sand environment.

Abstract: On the basis of principle of harmonic detection method which is used in instantaneous reactive power theory, modified Ip-Iq design scheme is proposed in this article. This scheme mainly aimed at harmonic and reactive current real-time detection in the situation of asymmetry voltage which is caused by unbalanced load, is in progress of theoretical analysis and simulation experiment, analyze the error in the progress of practical detection. Simulation results demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of this method.

Abstract: It is very important to assess the fire-fighting safety in city zone. That is the base of programming and arranging the city fire scientifically. According to the definition about the target of fire management in “The latest Fire-fighting Law”, this paper first proposed the method to classify it, determined the parts in the city zone fire-safety system, and determined the weight of each criterion by Analytic Hierarchy Process method. Secondly, it studied the model of city zone fire-safety assessment through the theory of fuzzy mathematics, and made some research and calculation on city zone fire-safety evaluation. Finally, it evaluated the condition of zone fire-safety in Xuan Wu Area in Beijing according to the model we have designed. The results showed that the methods we proposed and the calculations we have had were efficacious.

Abstract: Nodes self-localization and routing are two main research issues in wireless sensor networks. There are quite a few publications about sensor network localization or routing protocols, but seldom person combines them in their research work. In this paper, we combine a novel TOA location technique and a new centralized energy-efficient routing protocol. The performance of the combination is then simulated by software. Simulation results show that the routing based on the positions got by our location algorithm is as good as the routing based on true positions and can afford most application demands.

Abstract: This article put forward a new method on 2FSK signal demodulation by using Duffing Oscillator based on the theory of weak signal detection in Chaotic System. In this paper we utilize the regulation of the wave form generated by the chaotic system when it is detecting the weak signal and combined with the modulation method of 2FSK signals to analyse the demodulation of 2FSK signal in the background of strong noise and construct a Matlab/Simulink simulation model, the result proved the feasibility and effectiveness of this method.

Abstract: In this paper, the main work is focused on the design, simulation and fabrication of 2012-type low pass filter(LPF) using the technology of low temperature co-fired ceramic(LTCC). The three-order and -type LPF with 130MHz cut-off frequency and 260MHz out-band rejection is successfully implemented using two kinds of green tape with relative permittivity of 14 and relative permeability of 60 respectively. The measured results agree well with the simulated data and the design process is proved to be effective and reasonable.

Abstract: The system is a wireless monitoring system for drilling engineering. It is based on LabVIEW and NI WSN. Compared with the conventional drilling monitoring system, WSN has many advantages such as easy to deploy and structure is flexible. Aiming at the NI wireless nodes, the paper introduces the process of network configurations. The modular design is adopted to realize system demo, data acquisition, data query and data alarming. The system is compact in structure and the experiment shows that the system works in the stable condition.

Abstract: Application of License plate recognition system(LPR) in intelligent transportation is discussed in this paper, and various practical recognition algorithm is analyzed. VC++ with a good interface of MPC's and the Matlab which have powerful and fast graphics image processing functions are introduced. A novel method combining the VC++ and Matlab is designed to complete the recognition of License Plate Recognition. Some experiments are made to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method. The results show that the real time of the algorithm is enhanced. The mean processing period of a plate is reduced from 7s in VC algorithm to 0.37s with the proposed method.
