Abstract: The liquid confinement medium (LCM) and the free confinement medium (FCM) made by ourselves were used as confinement overlays of laser shock processing (LSP) respectively, stainless steel 304 was shocked by Nd:Glass laser. The parameters of LSP are the wavelength of 1.06μm, the pulse duration of 20ns, and output energy of 35~40J. The laser was focused on a spot of Ф5mm. Firstly, the profiles of shocked regions of samples were measured by Taylor Hobson admeasuring apparatus, in which two different confinement mediums are used by LSP. Secondly, the ruinous behavior of the free confinement overlays induced by laser shock wave is observed and analyzed. Analyzed and compared with the experiments results, it is discovered that the effects of LSP are different with using different confinement mediums.

Abstract: By considering the impact of the walls, water surface and river bed in straight and rectangular cross-section channel and analyzing concentration distribution of instantaneous point source, diffusion characteristics of pollutant were obtained that: (1) the vertical front position of pollutant, zf, is proportional to 0.5 power of t; (2) the velocity of vertical front position, Vf, is inverse-proportion to the vertical front position, zf; (3) the vertical front position, zf, is proportional to the transverse front position, yf.

Abstract: Manifold learning algorithms are nonlinear dimensionality reduction algorithms rising in recent years. Laplacian Eigenmaps is a typical manifold learning algorithms. Aim to the difficulty of selecting neighborhood parameter on the algorithm, a neighborhood parameter optimization method based on classification criterion is proposed in the paper. From the point of the classification performance, the classification criterion function is constructed to reflect the distance of within-class and between-class. The optimization of the neighborhood is obtained according to the minimum of the criterion function. The experimental results on IRIS validate the optimization of the neighborhood and the effectiveness of feature classification.

Abstract: In this paper we analyze the paging mechanism of XS128 Flash memory in detail, elaborate the functions and theory of Memory Mapping Control (MMC) module which integrated in S12XS serials MCU. We also introduce some registers which involved in MMC to realize the paging mechanism. Besides, we put forward the concepts of Local address, Logical address and Global address in XS128 Flash module, and give the basic theory on the conversion of these addresses.

Abstract: A mathematical model of vehicle electronic power steering system (EPS)is established. To meet the response speed and real-time requirements of the EPS control, A neural network control strategy of EPS based on the cerebellar model is designed, steering system dynamic response is analyzed and EPS controller based on a single-chip computer with ARM kernel is developed, On the basis of the simulation road test of vehicle is carried out. The results show that the CMAC neural network control of EPS can well coordinate the contradiction between portability and flexibility, It can improve vehicle handling stability and the comprehensive performance of the vehicle.

Abstract: Motivated by the advantage of the gateway that acts as the performance bottleneck in wireless mesh networks (WMNs) while shaping the traffic with the greedy fractal shaper, a novel approach is proposed to derive the upper stochastic/statistical bound of the backlog, delay and delay jitter of the WMNs gateway quality of service (QoS) statistic bound model. By analyzing and evaluating the QoS performance of the present model based on network calculus theory with fair bandwidth distributed strategy, a number of useful curves are achieved. Simulation shows the performance of the present model.

Abstract: Aim at the pipe laying manipulator’s dynamic properties of multi-input, multi-output, unstable, nonlinear, time-varying and coupling, a new RBF fuzzy neural network based on T-S fuzzy inference model was proposed. The network had simple structure and high training speed, and could adjust the fuzzy rules, and optimized them. The controller of RBF fuzzy neural network could realize the high precision tracking control of the laying pipe manipulator.

Abstract: Steady high magnetic field facility(SHMFF) provides the experimental environment of stable high magnetic field for scientific research. The core of SHMFF is a water-cooled magnet (WM) whose working condition is very rigorous. A kind of safety protection system (SPS) is needed to make sure that the WM could automatically enter safe state when working abnormally. This paper puts forward the strategy of protection for WM of SHMFF based on the way of detecting the resistance of WM’s coil, and explains the design and realization of SPS based on LabVIEW. Test results show that the SPS realized has good performance.
