Abstract: Networking architecture is used in the project of Chinese mechanical virtual human (CMVH) to improve the efficiencies in kinematics, dynamics and finite element (FE) analysis. A three-dimensional (3D) musculoskeletal model of a male human has been constructed according to the male dataset of Chinese visible human (CVH). Many servers and software have been distributed and application by using the method of networking architecture. Finally, a networking architecture platform by using these models to solving the parameters has been established. This networking architecture platform is more efficiency than single computer or server. It provides us insight in developing the new platform for biomechanical simulation.

Abstract: Iran is the land of miraculous energy types including wide range of renewable types of energy. In spite of these potentials however, little use has so far been made of these energy types mainly due to unfamiliarity and lack of scientific and technological dominance, and also the absence of necessary funds for conducting respective projects and plans. The most important reason behind this negligence is the lack of an independent and comprehensive law for clean energies, which serves as a firm support for development and usage of new energy types while possessing adequate implementation guarantee. Once formulated, the law becomes indispensable and is expected to remove and eliminate all the existing defects in the society and help improve the international policies and programs aimed at the global sustainable development using clean energies. Since the existing clean energy laws in Iran are so scattered and just imply this important subject in one or two simple clauses, this article seeks to identify the shortcomings and determine the need to formulate an independent legal framework, which responds to the current social needs, via a comparative study of the laws and regulations regarding clean energies in Germany, Italy, China and Iran, which indicates the legal status of the issue in these countries.

Abstract: The author designed a new device for growing vegetable sprouts and ornamental plants by combining greenhouse design and soil-less cultivation technology together with houses construction, aiming at saving arable land and energy by rapidly producing sprouts or flowers through vertical cultivation by installing the new device on the roof-top of houses in rural areas. Taking into consideration of design ideas, technological process, and the selection of raw materials, along with their practical value and future prospects, the author construct a double-layered, vertically cultivated vaulting greenhouse. As a result, the use of soil-less cultivation techniques on the roofs of houses in the Chinese countryside shows promise as a potential solution to deal with the shortage of arable land. This new cultivation technique may be more effective in promoting agricultural productivity and sustainable development of the economy and society since it can take full advantage of available resources in order to achieve a more economical and intensive use of land. There are three major benefits with roof-top agriculture: First, by using greenhouses located on the tops of roofs, a grower can maximize his utilization of sunlight. Second, roof-top agriculture doesn’t require any additional arable land. Third, the vegetables can be planted all year-round. The life circle of crops was shortened and productivity was promoted. The application of the technology will significantly increase economic efficiency and practical value of the idle roof-tops of houses in rural and suburban areas.

Abstract: Generate sufficient test cases is difficult and expensive, especially for testing software systems whose input is structurally complex. This paper proposes a new approach to generating a large number of test data from a few seed test cases, called data mutation. In the new approach, mutation operators transform the input data rather than the program under test or the specification of the software. It is not a test adequacy measurement. Instead, it generates test cases. The paper also reports a case study with the method on testing a modeling tool and illustrates the applicability of the proposed method. Experimental results validate the effectiveness of the method.

Abstract: The design, fabrication and testing of piezoelectric energy harvesting modules for floors is described. These modules are used beneath a parquet floor to harvest the energy of people walking over it. The harvesting modules consist of monoaxial stretched PVDF-foils. Multilayer modules are built up as roller-type capacitors. The fabrication process of the harvesting modules is simple and very suitable for mass production. Due to the use of organic polymers, the modules are characterized by a great flexibility and the possibility to create them in almost any geometrical size. The energy yield was determined depending on the dynamic loading force, the thickness of piezoelectric active material, the size of the piezoelectric modules, their alignment in the walking direction and their position on the floor. It was possible to generate up to 2.1mWs per pulse with loads of about 70 kg using a specific module design. An increase of the energy yield at higher loading forces and higher thicknesses of the modules is possible in general. Furthermore a test floor was assembled to determine the influence of the size, alignment and position of the modules on the energy yield.

Abstract: Closed loop pulsating heat pipe (CLPHP) is a relatively new two-phase passive heat transfer device to suit present requirement of high heat flux dissipation in modern electronic components. The operating mechanism of CLPHP is not well understood and the present state of the technology cannot predict required design parameters for a given task. The aim of research work presented in this paper is to better understand thermal performance of CLPHP. A series of experimental investigation were conducted on a multi-turn CLPHP made of copper capillary tube of 2-mm inner diameter. Two kinds of working fluids viz. ethanol and acetone were employed. The influence characterization has been studied for the variation of heat input and filling ratio (FR) of the tested CLPHP. Thermal performance of the CLPHP is evaluated by heat transfer and thermal resistance. The results strongly demonstrate the effect of heat input and FR of the working fluid on thermal performance of the device.

Abstract: The ever-growing demand on information and data requires the efficient architecture for large-scale network storage systems. To serve very large scale applications, using inexpensive commodity becomes the common selection in nowadays cloud storage systems. Based on such unreliable hardware, building fault-tolerant mechanism is key issue to the system design. In this paper, we propose a rack-aware architecture for cloud storage systems.

Abstract: Determining the number of suppliers chosen for cooperation in a supply chain is one of the most important problems in the supply chain management area. Regarding the fact that simultaneously decreasing the risk and cost is one of the most important objectives of every organization, besides the cost, the risk has also been introduced in the recent researches, as one of the most important criteria. In this paper, the decision tree approach is used for determining the optimal number of suppliers considering the supply risk and it has been tried to develop an applied method through expanding the cost criteria. The proposed model in this paper, therefore, contains any kind of cost ingredients such as cost of suppliers development, cost of suppliers management, cost of missing discount in volume due to increase in number of suppliers in supply base, and loss cost due to supply postponement from suppliers. This approach is implemented in Emersun Company.

Abstract: Parameterization design was applied to actuator structural design and three-dimensional entity modeling of brake by wire system. Based on pro-engineering software environment, motor driving entity model of brake by wire system was established. Motion transformation device, force booster device, cylindrical gear decelerate device were included. According to relative motor parameters and structural function of the equation, structural design of motion transformation device, force booster device and cylindrical gear decelerate device were carried on. Under Pro-E entity modeling platform, three-dimensional entity model of brake by wire system was established.
