Abstract: The paper investigates on the reachable domain of generated trjectories after an impulse with fixed magnitude and arbitrary direction applied at any point on the initial satellite orbit. By coalescing simulation analysis and geometric analysis, a method is given to determine the reachable domain of both initial circular and initial elliptic orbit. For generated elliptic trajectories, the present method is a general and feasible method to investigate the reach domain of satellite with single impulse.

Abstract: Two kinds of multiple carrier-wave PWM schemes are analyzed and compared in detail. The phase-shifted PWM method is proved to be suitable to the cascaded H-bridge (CHB) inverter-based STATCOM because of the same device switching frequency and conduction time. More harmonics can be eliminated and device power losses can be reduced. Based on this modulation scheme, a novel dc capacitor voltage detection and balance control is developed. The simulation is performed in Simulink environment and the experiment prototype based on DSP is built. The simulation and experiment results show the correctness and feasibility of the proposed methods.

Abstract: Process planning strategies for surface hardening by laser robot was introduced. It has many characteristics, such as integration, flexibility and environmental protection. According to technology requirement, the path planning and robotic hardening program were accomplished automatically. The FANUC ROBOGUIDE was used to realize simulation. Experiments were carried out to evaluate the application of process planning strategies for laser surface hardening.

Abstract: Deploying traditional method for establishing dynamics model of space station is inefficient when the structure of this space station will change. Therefore, a new approach was proposed to obtain general model that suits different structures and configurations. The new method is based on invariant absolute coordinates set and Newton-Euler method. Two simple constraints are firstly described and then used to construct new, more complex ones. While the coordinate set remains the same, main program configuration procedure is executed by including or excluding equations, thus making the model building process more simple. After this, specific equations of motion are being solved. Applying the technique to space stations of different configurations and structures gives good results, and those results are well-agreed with theoretical analysis.

Abstract: In this paper, the authors introduce the generation principle of the range gate pull-off (RGPO) jamming and its effect on the tracing radar, analyze the shortcomings of the countermeasures for the commonly-used existing anti-RGPO jamming, and finally gain a method to indentify if the radar suffers from the range gate pull-off jamming by integrating the characteristics of the range gate pull-off jamming, and propose the method of testing the variation of the radar-echo signal frequency-shift amount to eliminate the jamming.

Abstract: Microgrid is one of the promising solutions to interconnecting the renewable energy in the form of Distributed Generation with the utility grid, where the inverter control strategy for battery is essential. In this paper, a dual-loop control strategy is proposed for Vanadium Redox Battery inverter in islanding mode. The dual-loop control strategy consists of an inner-loop current control and an outer-loop voltage control, both of which adopt the classical PI controller. Further, the strategy applied in transient mode is also discussed. The proposed dual-loop control strategy has been tested in MATLAB/Simulink simulations and experimentally on a laboratory-scale system.

Abstract: The paper describes the style and characteristics of Japanese products, analyses the main reason why Japanese products can be so fashionable throughout the world by going through Japanese products’ design from three aspects, harmonization design, new high technology, reasonable man-machine, and humanization design, at the same time, it points out the secret of Japanese design’s leading position from its cultural connotation and scientific and technological content. Japanese boasts uniqueness in every aspect, cultural industry in particular. For example, in film, clothing and catering industry, “Japanese goods” a phenomenon of following Japanese fashion, has been gradually formed and swept the whole Asia. Against the background of closer communication between countries in culture and economy in the 21 century, how can Japanese goods continue to dominate the market in Asian and the world as a whole Through some superficial phenomenon, this paper concludes the following reasons of Japanese commodity humanistic products design concept, namely, the product's high technology content, humanization design and reasonable man-machine. Japanese, regarded as one of the “Four Tigers of Asia”, what on earth is charm o

Abstract: We propose a physical model that provides a rational interpretation to the fundamental properties of light. The Rope Hypothesis justifies and simulates basic features and behaviors such as straightness, speed, and orthogonality, and merges light with gravity into a single mechanism.

Abstract: An experimental paltform for simulating the starting process of a PFI engine was set up. The contrastive analysis of prototype engine between conventional start with starting motor and high-speed cranking start with ISG (Integrate Starter/Generator) was carried out. Variation regulation of the transient engine speed, the cylinder pressure, the fuel compensation factor, the intake manifold pressure and the transient HC emission were elaborated. The results show that, with the increase of cranking speed, the intake air pressure dropped, and the intake air quantity reduced as well. The duration of fuel evaporation was shortened, so the fuel atomization was insufficient. The possibility of misfire was increased and the transient HC emission was prominent. All these phenomena had a close relationship with ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature). Fuel compensation in the first few working cycles during starting process could make the original lean mixture more preferable in order to improve the combustion environment.

Abstract: The green building or green architecture has come to light as a strong architectural movement at the end of 1990's and as a main trend in architectural practice. The architectural green is a modern architectural philosophy which deals with the competent relationship between the functional constructive systems and its vital environmental, by controlling the inputs and outputs of this system with the least negative effects on the environment and occupant's health, and the least energy consumption during the various stages of the building ( construction, operation, maintenance and destruction ) to achieve the functional activities and the inventive and efficient architectural structures. The importance of this movement lies in trying to achieve the sustainable development in its environmental, social and economic aspects because of the problems that developed and developing countries ( e.g. Iraq ) face such as energy consumption and pollution. Several international standards of different classifications, depending on local context of each country, has been appeared. Some of these tools are (BREEAM, LEED, CO-CHPS Colorado, GBTool, CASBEE) which aim to assess the performance of the building from green Architecture's perspective. Although there is a similarity in the classification levels including the sustainable location, how to use (water, energy and atmosphere, materials, resources) effectively, indoor environment quality and the design's innovation, they differ in other aspects that its importance relies on the environmental and local context. The problem of our research was the absence of the practical evaluation tool of the green building ( school buildings ) for the Iraq's local context in general and Mosul in particular, compatibly with the city climate. The research aims at making theoretical construction to identify the assessment indicators of the school buildings from green architecture's perspective, in order to create suitable and general assessment tool for schools building in Mosul city which can help improving the performance of these schools, decreasing the effect on the health, sparing energy coasts, and other benefits in the stages of the project ( pre-construction, construction, post-construction ). The research supposes that the multi-dimensional designing strategy is an active tool used in establishing the tool classification of assessment. For reaching goals, the research adopts the theoretical method and questionnaire. Finally, the research provides an assessment tool for school building in Mosul from the green architecture's perspective (AGBS) Green Building Assessment Tool for school ) in conformity with the local context of the city for enabling the designer to follow it in order to achieve the investment within his school architectural products. Results indicate six categories for assessment tool. First Sustainable Sites category (SS) which have the greatest weight 25.7%, , then Indoor Environment Quality(IEQ) 24.35667%. then Materials & Resources (M&R), Energy & Atomosphere (A&E), Water Efficiency(WE),and Innovotion in design (ID), have 17.32% ، 10.5% ، 3.987181% , Respectively.
