Abstract: Chemical composition of larch bark residue after tannin extraction was analyzed and sulfonation reaction was proceeded on bark residue. Effects of sulfonation of bark chemical components on surface activity, dispersing property and fluidity of cement paste products were studied. Results showed that the main chemical compositions of bark residue after tannin extraction were phenolic acid and lignin, which were much higher than that of wood raw material. Hydrolysable tannin and condensed tannin also existed in bark residue. Lignosulfonate prepared from bark residue had better surface activity, dispersing property, the reason might be the existence of soluble tannin and phlobatannin, high fluidity of cement paste might come from the existence of soluble tannin and phenolic acids.

Abstract: The adsorbing property of hydrolytic lignin to lead ion in water was studied. Parameters affecting adsorption ability of hydrolytic was investigated. Results showed the proper condition for adsorption was: pH 1 to 2, 120 min, 80°C. 1g of hydrolytic lignin could adsorb 5.6mg of lead ions.

Abstract: Metabonomics is widely used in the study of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, it is important to extract information from the metabonomics data. In this article we introduced four mapping methods for sample description. Type 2 Diabetes mellitus Model was made on rats, and Rosiglitazone was used as positive drug. Data obtained by using UPLCQTOF/MS method were classified into three groups (normal control group, DM group, Treatment group). R software was used for Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Sammon mapping, Kruskal-Wallis mapping (isoMDS) and Independent Component Analysis (ICA). The results showed that isoMDS and PCA methods got better values than the rest methods, meanwhile ICA plot did not show any useful information. These results demonstrate the capacity of multivariate data mapping methods in metabonomics data.

Abstract: Activated carbon from hydrolytic lignin was prepared in microwave activated with ZnCl2. The property of activated carbon was determined. Iodine and methylene blue adsorption were 1060mg/g and 99.98mg/g, respectively. The adsorption property of activated carbon on Cr(VI) was determined and results showed that pH and temperature had little effects on adsorption of activated, and the proper adsorbing time was 5-20min. The adsorbing ability of hydrolytic lignin activated carbon was batter than that of commercial product. 1g of activated carbon could adsorb 25mg Cr(VI).

Abstract: At present, the shell structure is broadly used in the engineering field, and the finite element method is the main method to analysis of the structural design. Because many variables are used in the finite element method and the computation is complex, this paper used Bezier surface patches as the admissible displacement fields to represent the shell’s middle surface displacement and rotation components, the deformations of the composite shell under the loads are studied with a Semi-analytical procedure. The results show that semi-analytical and analytical procedure are in good agreement with the results of the analysis, it can be applied in the project.

Abstract: Thin-walled tubes are the main structures to absorb the energy in front impact at the desired controlled collision. A thin-walled square tube is designed by use of a double deck square tube with clapboards which has a stable structure with less Euler deformation in front impact. More deformations of extensional collapse in the double deck square tube with clapboards improve the performance of structures for energy absorption. Induced slots are employed in the square tube to decrease the peak acceleration in front impact. Collision process can be controlled by the slots for the stable deformation and reduced initial peak acceleration

Abstract: It presents a proposed method for the development of quality evaluation and classification for material products, and shows the application of the ordinal logistic regression model and its advantages. It involved several steps: applying the linguistic information processing method, building the ordinal logistic regression model, differentiating and analyzing the quality evaluation to reach the quality classification result

Abstract: The research interest of this paper is to explore practical ways of incorporating advantages of digital control in Switching Mode Power Supply (SMPS). The two most important issues are the design and implementation of Digital Pulse-Width Modulation (DPWM) and high-performance digital control algorithms for digital controlled SMPS. A Hybrid DPWM method based on digital clock management (DCM) and digital dithering is adopted to generate high-frequency high-resolution PWM. A digital V2 control algorithm is implemented to improve the system performance. The buck converter is studied to analyze the digital V2 control application in SMPS. The simulation and experimental results are presented.

Abstract: Based on the equivalent circuit of the self-excited induction generator, an iterative method is proposed to predict the steady state performances by equating the loop impedance to zero. The proposed method is much simpler than Newton-Raphson method and optimization-based method. To facilitate the calculation, a simplified technique for reducing the orders of the equations is used. The fact that the calculated results coincide with those obtained experimentally shows the accuracy and validity of the proposed method. The effects of generator parameters on the external characteristics are studied. The simulation results indicate that the rotor resistance affects both the terminal voltage and frequency. The stator resistance, the stator leakage reactance and the rotor leakage reactance have no significant effect on the frequency
