Abstract: The current study focuses on the artificial modification of natural bentonite using pulping sodium, stacking sodium, extrusion sodium, wheel rolling sodium, and microwave sodium treatments. The effects of these methods on the physical and chemical properties of bentonite are investigated. The results indicate that the wheel rolling sodium treatment, which features the effects of extrusion and kneading, facilitated maximum separation and sodium treatment of Ca2+ and Mg2+ in the lattice of bentonite. This method produced highly efficient Ca-bentonite with full modification. When the wheel rolling sodium treatment was performed for 60 min, the modified bentonite exhibited a colloid index of 300 mL/3 g, swelling value of 275 mL/2 g, swelling volume of 94 mL/g, and 2 h water absorption of 755%. The modified bentonite has desirable cohesiveness, dilatability, suspension property, dispersibility, and high physical and chemical performances, which are suitable for use as iron ore concentrate pallet and casting bentonite binders.

Abstract: The emphasis of enterprises information is manufacturing information, the key of which is to realize the information sharing and integrating. In this paper, a new approach to integrate CAx / PDM systems is provided, which is based on service-oriented architecture. In accordance with service architecture, the PDM's functionality can be encapsulated by a new interface which is developed based on it's original interface. In this way, the PDM can be invoked as a service for CAx systems, such as CAD,CAPP,CAE etc, the CAx systems can share information with each other and realize the integration of heterogeneous system.

Abstract: Unlike those traditional clustering algorithms, the spectral clustering algorithm can be applied to non-convex sphere of sample spaces and be converged to global optimal. As a entry point that the similar of spectral clustering, introduce improved weighted fuzzy similar matrix to spectral in this paper which avoids influence from parameters changes of fuzzy similar matrix in traditional spectral clustering on clustering effect and improves the effectiveness of clustering. It is more actual and scientific, which is tested based on UCI data set.

Abstract: Feature-based numerical control programming can enhance the process planning efficiency for complex structural parts in aeronautic industry. Feature recognition is often being a useful tool to the domain. In order to handle the variety and uncertainty of the feature interpretation of feature recognition of structural parts, a region-based feature recognition approach is proposed. On the basis of the characteristics of the structural parts, the approach employs the fact that topology surfaces of structural parts have directions, and utilizes region as the foundation of feature recognition. By recognition and combination of regions, the approach acquires the features of a structural part. The approach is efficient in recognizing the features of structural parts which have apparent directional characteristic.

Abstract: To asses environmental feasibility of Beize coal separating plant and predict it’s influence to ambient, according to government laws, codes and regulations such as 《The Specific Guides to Environmental Impact Assessment》 and technical features of the project, the range, grade, standards, factors and prediction models of influence evaluation were determined. Then predictions and evaluations of ambient air, surface water environment, acoustic environment, solid wastes and environmental risk were undertaken. The results showed that air pollutants was 2.38t/a of smoke dust and 2.60t/a of SO2 and the coal dust discharging concentration was less than 120 mg/m3. There would be 6.0 mg/L and 16.2 mg/L increment on COD and SS respectively in the local river on the occasion of accidental discharge. Noises was 50 dB(A) or less along plant boundary. So the pollutants discharge of this project can meet relative discharge standards on the conditions of carrying out various pollution precaution measures and guaranteeing normal production. Therefore, this project is feasible from the point of view of environment.

Abstract: In this paper, a novel forming method of viscous medium outer pressure necking is presented. Influences of buckling and wrinkling as well as viscous medium properties in necking process on the forming process is analyzed by finite element method. As a result, rules of deformation of the viscous medium and variation of the tube blank shape in the necking process are obtained, and influences of the viscous medium properties on buckling necking amount and appearance variation of wrinkles are concluded. The research results show that viscous medium can alleviate the influence of buckling and wrinkling on the forming process of necking under certain conditions, and increase the necking deformability of tubular blanks. Meanwhile, choosing viscous medium with high rate-sensitivity is helpful to improve the necking limit.

Abstract: This paper focuses on the optimal option contract coordinating of ordering quantity and option prices between retailer and supplier in a VMI system under market uncertainty. The option contract is characterized by a dominant supplier with two parameters which are ordering price co and executive price ce paid by retailer. An option ordering price is paid by retailer for each additional ordering unit of product at the end of selling reason if realized demand is larger than retailer’s committed minimum ordering. An executive price plays a role of purchasing price for each unit of product if retailer set a second ordering. A successful coordination has been shown and a numerical analysis demonstrates that such an option contract brings a Pareto improvement to each party, especially to the retailer. At last, the analysis of market uncertainty effects on the profits of both sides illustrates that, as the increasing of market demand uncertainty, the retailer’s ordering quantity of options will increase but his profit will reduce, and supplier’s profit will add.

Abstract: Resistance spot welded magnesium alloy joints contain the nugget and heat affected zone (HAZ), and the weld nugget of magnesium alloy generally contains two different microstructures, the cellular dendritic crystals at the edge of the nugget and the equiaxed dendritic crystals in the center of the nugget. Characteristics of cellular dendritic crystals make the cellular dendritic crystals zone to be the weak area, and the more unfortunate thing is that it is located in the high-stress zone, which further degrades the mechanical properties of the joints. Based on this conditions, inoculation would be tried to refine the cellular dendritic crystals in order to improve the mechanical properties of resistance spot welded magnesium alloy joints. Al-10Sr was chosen as the inoculant in this experiment. As the addition of Al-10Sr increases from zero to 1.4mg, the average width of cellular dendritic crystal zone decreases from 332μm to 58μm while the microstructure tends to be refined, accordingly, tensile shear load of the joints increases by 24.3% from 2.379 KN to 2.959 KN. It is favorable to select a relative higher content of Al-10Sr addition to improve the mechanical properties of the spot welded magnesium alloy joints.
