Abstract: The system error of the FBG demodulation system based on tunable fiber Fabry-Perot (F-P) interferometer increases due to the uncertain relationship of driving voltage and the scanning wave peak. So the real-time correction technology is studied here. A parallel real-time correction system is designed to correct nonlinear problems of PZT and structural errors of the tunable FP interferometer. The relation between PZT driving voltage and the peak of tunable FP interferometer is analyzed by the experiments. Then a fast segmentation algorithm is designed. Then a signal processing system is designed using FPGA, which guarantees real-time work of the system by integrating the demodulation system control, filter calculation and data compression circuits into one FPGA chip. Experimental results show that the system described here solves the accuracy problem caused by the tunable FP interferometer.

Abstract: Real-time segmentation of moving regions in image sequences is a fundamental step in video monitoring systems. This paper presents an improved motion detection algorithm in a dynamic scene based on change detection. The algorithm integrates the temporal differencing method and background subtraction method to achieve better performance. Background subtraction is a typical change detection approach to segment foreground, but the continuous or abrupt variations of lighting conditions that cause unexpected changes in intensities on the background reference image. So we combine the background subtraction’s result with temporal difference’s result. The foreground mask is segmented by both the methods of background subtraction and temporal differencing. Finally, a post-processing is applied on the obtained object mask to reduce regions and smooth the moving region boundary. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can update the background exactly and quickly along with the variation of illumination, and the moving objects can be extracted effectively.

Abstract: Intrusion detection algorithm based on support vector machine with pre-extracting support vector is proposed which combines the center distance ratio and classification algorithm. Given proper thresholds, we can use the support vector as a substitute for the training examples. Then the scale of dataset is decreased and the performance of support vector machine is improved in the detection rate and the training time. The experiment result has shown that the IDS based on support vector machine with pre-extracting support needs less training time under the same detection performance condition.

Abstract: Spiking neural P systems are a class of distributed and parallel computing models inspired by P systems and spiking neural networks.Spiking neural P system with anti-spikes can encode the balanced ternary three digits in a natural way using three states called anti-spikes, no-input and spikes. In this paper we use this variant of SN P system to simulate universal balanced ternary logic gates including AND,OR and NOT gate and to perform some basic balanced ternary arithmetic operations like addition and subtraction on balanced ternary integers. This paper provides an applicational answer to an open problem formulated by L.Pan and Gh. Păun.

Abstract: The construction method used by detection engine Snort-NG based on ID3 decision tree has the problem of excessive memory occupancy. The idea that the test properties are chosen according to the gradation of rule property in network protocol stack was presented in this paper; that is, the property of link layer first determined, and then network layer and transport layer. The atomicity of the value of these properties were preserved and the values of these properties were treated as a whole. The results of experiment showed that the occupancy of memory was much less in the state of non-trivial property being very common with this approach.

Abstract: Edges characterize boundaries. Edge detection is a problem of fundamental importance in image processing. The key of edge detection for image is to detect more edge details, reduce the noise impact to the largest degree. In this paper the comparative analysis of various image edge detection techniques is presented. In order to evaluate these techniques, they are used to detect the edge of chromosome image. Firstly, the iterative thresholding algorithm and morphologic erode algorithm together are applied to enhance both the edges of the chromosomes and the contrast of the image. Then, Sobel operator technique, Roberts technique, Prewitt technique and Canny technique are used respectively to detect the edges of the chromosomes in the image.

Abstract: A method for parameterized design of Furniture product was presented and the Software Solidworks was further developed with VC++6.0 in this paper. Under the supporting of Solidworks, it was realized to vary the parameters of product to generate new one. As a result, the time and cost for the product development could be reduced greatly.

Abstract: Due to the problems that the fidelity of driving scenes in 3D driving simulation system is not high and the development cost is expensive, present an implementation method of the 3D driving simulating system by using VC++ development platform and combining Newton Dynamics Engine with Open Scene Graph Engine which are all open source. Multi-sensor fusion technology is also used to control the movement and collision reaction of the vehicle, and to switch scene perspective. The result proves that this method has the advantages of low software development cost, high scene fidelity and excellent dynamic effect.

Abstract: In this paper, a new channel model through ultra-wideband (UWB) communication for vehicle detection system (VDS) is proposed. The Gauss 2st derivative function is used as the transmitted signal and the received signal is evaluated. The main objective of this work is to provide an analytical approach for obtaining the main parameters under new channel through the bodywork structure properties. The characteristic of the RMS delay spread is discussed in this paper.
