Abstract: In order to solve the impact of environment on reasonable production capacity of large mine, analyzed the main factors of environmental pollution affecting the coal mines, illustrated the coordination and interaction of various subsystems of the industry ecosystem in chart and used the environmental quality assessment to determine the mine environment grading and partition, determine the reasonable capacity of the large mines within the bearing capacity of the environment, present environmental protection measures in different areas.

Abstract: The growing concern over the effect of atmosphere dispersion resulted from radioactive material was noticeable. This paper demonstrated the variance of atmosphere dispersion factor for accident release from nuclear power plant through running PAVAN (Atmospheric Dispersion of Radioactive Releases from Nuclear Power Plants) model. Also, we investigated the effect of release height (short for H) on atmosphere dispersion factor and compared the correlation between atmosphere dispersion factor and dispersion distance. Our results showed that atmosphere dispersion factor would descend with increased release height. As dispersion distance increasing, the tendency of atmosphere dispersion factor expressed complicated status caused by the difference of wind direction. It was illustrated that the phenomena was caused by the integrated action between the wind direction and release height. The probability distribution of atmosphere dispersion factor also validated that the distribution was depend on the wind direction. Probability analysis indicated that the atmosphere dispersion factor under H=100m was overall less than that under H=75m.

Abstract: Xinjiang is rich in energy reserves, but at the same time extremely fragile in ecological environment. In the twelfth five-year plan of Xinjiang, there is a clear plan for energy and the environment. Based on the related content of the law on the environmental impact assessment, this paper argues the establishment of the indicator system of environmental impact assessment of energy plan considered both economy aspect and environment aspect.

Abstract: This paper adopts the multi-factor comprehensive evaluation to conduct spatial superposition calculation of the classified index of single-factor evaluation result through evaluating soil erosion sensitivity, land desertification sensitivity, susceptibility to stress of water resource and water environment pollution sensitivity, etc, thus getting the result of comprehensive evaluation of ecological environment sensitivity in Chengde. Chengde’s ecological environment has four levels which are extremely sensitive area, medium sensitive area, slightly sensitive area and general area.

Abstract: The aim of this work is to study the burning characteristics of coach fire. With application of computational fluid dynamics (FDS software package), coach fires caused by arson are simulated under different ventilation conditions. Variation of heat release rate (HRR) and distribution of temperature are analyzed. Peak heat release rate of coach fire caused by arson in passenger carriage can reach about 24 MW and maximum temperature in the carriage is over 1000 °C. Results of this study can be referred for fire protection and rescue design of coach.

Abstract: It is a critical issue to assess risk degree of natural disasters in China. Firstly the assessment indexes and assessment standard grades of natural disasters risk degree are established, then comes up with a new approach to assess risk degree of natural disasters: Set Pair Analysis Method (SPAM), finally acquires the risk degree grades of Chinese natural disasters based on SPAM. The SPAM takes the fuzzy of grade standards into full account, and is simple in concept and easy in calculation and application. The results of evaluation about Chinese natural disasters risk degree are credible.

Abstract: To asses entironmental feasibility of Expanding and Improving Project on Xihe Coal Mine (EIPXCM) and predict it’s influence on entironment, according to related regulations and technical features of the project, prediction models and parameters of surface movement and deformation were determined. Its influence evaluation was down. The results shows that the largest value of ground subsidence in whole mine field is 1.219 m, and corresponding affected scope of surface movement and deformation is 42673 m2. Then the appraisals of entironmental impact on land sink, soil erosion, land occupation, biomass loss, wild animals and landscape ecology were done. The results indicates that only a little land occupied, there will not be big change on regional landscape situation and the project will affect ecosystem very little. Finally, relieving measures of entironmental influence were proponed. Therefore, on the conditions of taking proponed measures, this project is feasible from the point of view of entironment.

Abstract: There are existing objective, quantitative blocking indices that could be classified into five types: the departure method, the Tibaldi and Molteni(TM) method, the dynamical index(PV-θindex), the dynamical potential vorticity (PV) based index, and the circumfluent type method. Persistent blocking highs can be associated with destructive weather including low temperatures, snowfall, and anomalous freezing from January 1st to February 2nd 2008 in China. Using the daily reanalysis data provided by NCEP/NCAR, the merits and flaws of these five objective methods are studied individually, including the intensity、size and frequency of block. Generally speaking, each method has both advantages and clearly identifiable limitations because of the mathematical formulation for each objective blocking index. Based on the merits and flaws of these blocking indices summarized in this study, investigators and operational meteorologists could apply these blocking indices better if they can select an index compatible with their study objectives, or improve upon and innovate a new method.

Abstract: Many automobile security systems are provided today, but their functions are not enough to satisfy the applications for Environmental Monitoring based on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).In this paper, we proposed and introduced new device which is an automobile information Identification device with sensors network to strengthen automobile security system function for monitoring environment. This device aims at monitoring status of automobile as well as its environment by collecting data through sensors network. In order to increase the security, we used a new designed architecture of sensors network to gather data. GPS and GPRS were also added to locate the automobile and to transmit filtered data into the monitor. A New Design approach of system was discussed on both software and hardware. One math model for showing gas and voltage value relation was established. In order to improve system reliability, various testing methods were applied in this system. The results showed that the combination of average filtering algorithm and median filtering algorithm to inhibit interference signal at variety of frequency case can effectively filter different frequency interference signal in the software system. The advantage of this system was discussed. The system has low cost, high performance, real-time and reliability characteristics. It can not only strengthen current security system functions but also can satisfy requirements of future automobile. It also has large potential market.
