Abstract: In this paper, in order to solve the problem that the sampling rate in ultra-wideband (UWB) channel estimation is too high, we discuss the applicability of Bayesian Compressive Sensing (BCS) used in UWB channel estimation. We solve the problem by using the time domain sparse of the impulse response of the UWB channel and establishing the probability model of the Compressive Sensing (CS) measurement. We accomplish the channel estimation by optimizing maximum a posteriori (MAP) of the channel. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme needs a very low sampling rate to recover the channel accurately. And the BCS algorithm has a better performance than the basis pursuit (BP) algorithm and the traditional least square (LS) algorithm in bit error rate (BER).

Abstract: In order to enhance the reliability of the automatic door operation, S7-200 programmable logic controller (PLC) was used as the core of the automatic door system. The principle of control system was analyzed with description of the control system hardware. It was introduced that the working process of control circuits about human body detection sensor and automatic door position detection and obstacle detection and so on. It was introduced how to choose a PLC type, to really settle the I/O orders. Combining the operation characteristics of programmable controller, a reasonable optimization was made for the work flow of the system. On this basis, using structured programming method, the program flow charts of main program module was developed. The debugging of the control system was developed on simulation software. The practical application shows that the control system was good and reliable.

Abstract: During the drive speed operation with motor, due to the big difference between the synchronous speed and the motor speed, it likely causes too much current. When the current exceeds a certain limit, it will cause the drive to current protection of the acceleration. For the over-current drive in the tanker case, by analyzing the causes of over-current proceeding, the key points are described from the load check, the drive hardware check, the parameters check, input/output circuit inspection and so on. When the large start torque or acceleration torque is necessary, the motor torque of about 100 to 150% can be generated in the low frequency area by adjusting the torque boost.

Abstract: Based on the analyses of the traffic characteristic of urban expressway ramps metering, a hybrid automaton model for expressway ramp metering is set up and switching control methods of hybrid system is proposed using the hybrid automata theory. Compared with fixed-time ramp metering, Alinea control algorithm and fuzzy control algorithm in different traffic flows, and simulated in the Paramics traffic software, the results show that the method of switching control based on hybrid automata theory is more effective than a single control algorithm.

Abstract: In this paper, we exploited the short-term electricity price forecasting issue by introducing a global search mechanism based on the improved particle swarm optimization (MPSO) algorithm for the neural network training. The proposed MPSO algorithm is used for the initial weights and threshold of BP neural network in the process of optimization. We then proposed a novel short-term electricity price forecasting model based on MPSO-BP neural network. The paper provides a number of examples of bidding model of the California electricity market to forecasting market clear price using BP neural network trained by MPSO. Through the comparative study of the conventional BP neural network and the proposed MPSO-BP neural network, the proposed method demonstrates improved performance in finding the optimal solution with excellent convergence time for all the simulated scenarios.

Abstract: According to the material handling AGV in accurate,timely and flexible requirements, proposed based on Googol GE-400SV motion controller AGV control system. Constructed to CPAC core AGV control system hardware structure. Constructed as GE-400SV motion controller for the core of AGV control system hardware structure, and using VC ++6.0 completed system software realization. Experimental results show that: use GE-400SV motion controller and the development software as control core of AGV can meet the hardware and software design of Automated Guided Vehicle precise positionig , automatic walk.

Abstract: The modulation strategy of injecting non-sinusoidal into reference voltage is presented in this paper. Z-source inductor current ripple and the relationship of voltage gain versus modulation index are analyzed in detail. Compared to simple boost control, the non-sinusoidal injection modulation strategy can obviously decreased the switching times, thus switching loss is cut down, and the voltage stress and Z-source inductor current ripple are obviously reduced. Theoretical analysis, simulation and experimental results are presented to demonstrate the features of the control.

Abstract: USB flash disk recorder is a new type paperless data recorder, which gathers the USB flash disk technology, micro-processing technology, and digital sensor technology together, taking the lead in applying USB flash disk technology. Massive data storage demand is met by adopting FatFS file system to manage storage media. The entire data will be stored in the form of file so that it is convenient for data storage and transmission. Moreover, the system concerned with the bad block management problems in NandFlash will be optimized and thus the reliability of the system will also improve. System test is performed by the accelerometer sensor. It is able to make long-term monitoring on the shock intensity and record the shock peak and waveform.

Abstract: In order to achieve higher productivity and flexibility, manufacturing industry is turning increasingly to robotics based lean automation systems. This lean approach presents a series of new challenges for the control, operation and programming of robotic hardware implemented to carry out a range of manufacturing processes. This paper reviews relevant path planning methodologies alongside a specific set of requirements for a manipulator operating in a lean automation workcell. Then, new challenges to path planning for a lean automation system are presented. Finally, a framework for a new path planner is developed and its performance is compared to existing methods.

Abstract: Particle swarm optimization algorithm with binary encoding (BQPSO) is an intelligent algorithm which is the binary version of particle swarm optimization (QPSO) and can solve the problem in discrete space. This paper analyzes BQPSO, especially discusses the crossover method of bits in algorithm. The paper proposes that the crossover operation of particles should be crossed from bit to bit randomly in algorithm. And the new bit crossover operator is used in computing the coordinate of the local attractor to increasing the diversity of populations and improves the global searching ability of algorithm, and then a modified BQPSO algorithm is proposed. The proposed new algorithm is tested on several functions and compared with BPSO. The experiment results show the superiority of BQPSO
