Abstract: Flexible Job-shop Scheduling Problem is the extending of the classical Job-shop Scheduling Problem, which has more practical significance than JSP. This paper firstly presents a solution for FJSP under uncertainty based on QPSO algorithm, mainly on uncertain operation time and uncertain delivery time, and then describes the mathematical model and solving process. Subsequent sections concentrate on the designed and conducted experiment simulation using instances, and analyze the experimental results on the QPSO performance compared with some results of other traditional algorithms from literature review. Finally, this paper illustrates QPSO has better performance and shows the promising for dealing with FJSP.

Abstract: E-commerce environment improves the efficiency of information flow in the supply chain, and realizes information sharing of all aspects. Information sharing in each node enterprise makes more rational use of resources, reduces the dead time of all aspects, and advances the operational efficiency of supply chain, which plays an increasingly important role in the orderly operation of the entire supply chain. While network technology and IT facilitate supply chain management, their security risks have brought trouble to the effective operation of the supply chain, which restricts the operation and development of the supply chain. Therefore, the supply chain information risk management issues are paid more attention. In this situation, I study and analyze the information risk of the supply chain in e-commerce environment, also explore the corresponding information risk. This helps provide decision support for enterprise information risk analysis of supply chain and has important practical significance to the accurate and efficient operation of the entire supply chain in e-commerce environment.

Abstract: The team-members for the new product development (NPD) are recruited from different departments in the enterprises. So the team-members in the design teams range from novices to experts in NPD. The juniors developer in the design project team lack more successful product-design experiences as their seniority and skills. Therefore, those developers always query and search their problems with the limited terminology via the information systems or websites. So the results of the querying and searching always are limited to the similar domain-knowledge. The new product development (NPD) involves multidisciplinary knowledge such as accumulated experiences of knowledge-workers, and different technical and legal documents. The information systems (IS) facilitating the NPD processes often include document-based knowledge management system (KMS), Product Data Management (PDM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems etc. With these different systems, novices at various stages of NPD processes often have problems to use the exact and suitable keywords to query the problems from those information systems. The study proposes a case-based reasoning to construct a hierarchical knowledge model to record knowledge-workers’ experiences and to store the information of experiences and the recommendation of experts. The aim of the study is that the proposed architecture can query the information scattered in different information systems by using their individual-domain terminology and retrieve the better fitted results of the querying.

Abstract: In the field of civil aviation, MRO market has a strong seasonal characteristic. Combined with research on continuous airworthiness of the aircraft, the spare parts order procedure and flight planning process, and analysis on fuzzy demand and fuzzy production capacity, the model of spare parts order with fuzzy reliability constraints is established. Under the background of actual civil aviation enterprises, spare parts quantitative order model and algorithm in spare parts planning decision system in non-deterministic environment are put forward. It applies the theories and methods of fuzzy mathematics and probability and statistics, building the target programming model for reconfigurable spare parts, to formulate optimal reconfigurable spare parts production plan. Overall steps to solve the model are proposed, which make decision process in fuzzy environment more flexible, and reduce the number of emergency orders.

Abstract: Steel enterprises compete in a global, rapidly changing economy. To develop a sustainable strategy requires a holistic understanding of past and present dynamics affecting the entire value chain on a local to global scale. The purpose of this research was to developing a conceptual framework and research process that provides a comprehensive view of the forces driving change in the organization, geography and relationships in steel enterprises throughout the value chain.

Abstract: Information system implementation helps to promote efficiency of the workshops and enterprises’ competitiveness. It requires holistic analyses and investigation in the manufacturing workshops to ensure its success. This research proposes a framework to guide information systems implementation in discrete manufacturing workshops. In the framework, multi-agent simulation models are built to analyze the business processes in the workshops and some techniques from Business Process Management (BPM) are applied to modify or change the processes. The effectiveness of the framework is proved by its application in a discrete manufacturing workshop.

Abstract: Under the environment of the network-based manufacturing, Ihe goal of the formation of enterprise alliance is to expeditiously complete the development of new products to gain the market. In order to meet the chance for enterprises alliance to complete the goal largest, this paper provided the concept of confidence degree and its corresponding calculation method. After studying the confidence degree of the total enterprise alliance, the simplified calculation method is set up for the big alliance. This calculation mathod can embody the essence of the partner selection better, and provide a rational strategy for establishing the enterprise alliance.

Abstract: This paper explores scheduling to a common due date on unrelated machines with resource allocation and deteriorating jobs. The main purpose is to determine the optimal resource allocation and the optimal job sequence so that the cost function that includes the sum of earliness, tardiness, and resource cost will be minimized. Result showed that the problem is polynomial time solvable when the number of machine is fixed.

Abstract: For the flow shop scheduling problem which aims to minimize makespan, this paper gives a new derivation about its mathematical definition, and mining characteristics of the problem itself further. By which analysis, the new heuristic method proposed in the paper shorten the waiting time of each job as much as possible on the basis of reduce the processing time of the first machine and last job. The result of simulation experiments shows that, our new heuristic algorithm has good performance, and the average quality and stability of scheduling sequences generated by new method is significantly better than other heuristic algorithm which has the same complexity.

Abstract: New enterprises for products in prepackages with fixed content always use sampling inspection to make sure the accuracy of the net quantity of their products according to JJF 1070-2005 “Rules of Metrological Testing for Net Quantity of Products in Prepackages with Fixed Content”, but this sampling inspection plan is expensive. The theoretical basis of the variable sampling plan in JJF 1070 was analyzed first. Then based on ISO 3951-1, the variable acceptance standard, a new sampling plan for products in prepackages with fixed content was developed, and it’s operation characteristic curve was drawn. Taking one company in Jinhua city of Zhejiang province of China as an example, a comparative analysis for the practical application of these two sampling plans was carried out. Under the premise that the sampling plan’s discrimination power was unchanged, the results showed that the acceptance effects of two sampling plans waere almost the same, while the reduction of sample size for the new one was 44%, the inspection time and cost were all reduced.
