Abstract: Automatic fare collection system (AFCS) has been widely used for public transport all over the world. However, the Origin-Destination (OD) matrix of each passenger, the most important information, cannot be collected from AFCS since only boarding information is recorded at each bus stop and alighting one is lost. This study develops passenger trajectories estimation to calculate OD matrix by using pre-processed smart card data from AFCS in one city. The results of a rigorous validation with on/off data from a real-world bus route reveal that the proposed model is quite effective and reliable on estimating the OD matrix for identification of the underlying demand pattern of a transit route. The results have shown that the OD estimation from the proposed algorithm match more than 75% with the actual OD pairs. During the peak hours, the matching rate can go up to 85%.

Abstract: The cut tobacco dryer is one of the most important process equipment in the cigarette production ,which is a typical process involving many factors such as multivariablity, strong coupling, time-varying and large time delay .Based on the identification of inverse dynamics, this paper establishes a process model related to some important parameters of the cut tobacco dryer which lays a foundation for optimizing the control parameters, increasing process efficiency and reducing the cost in the tobacco drying process.

Abstract: A traffic lights control method was proposed based on the phase interrupt control strategy. The algorithm refers to computer interrupt event handling method and determines whether to extend passage time according to the phase green light time when the interrupt is triggered by traffic flow. Based on vehicle traffic ability function and average vehicle delay function, the method was optimized. And simulation study was carried out on a planar orthogonal crossroads in Taian city of Shandong province in china. Simulation results confirmed that the effectiveness of the method and the average vehicle delay time was reduced 24.9%. This indicates that the method can effectively improve transport efficiency, which has a very important significance for tourism city to relieve the traffic pressure.

Abstract: This paper presents the design of μ-synthesis control for Independent Drive Electric Vehicle, Applying this method, external disturbances and model uncertainties can be taken into consideration. The controller is set up based on the toolbox of MATLAB/SIMULINK and the weighting functions selection is discussed according to the actuator and the control performance index. In order to investigate the feasibility of the controller, simulations with different velocity and disturbances were employed, the simulation results show that the proposed controller can keep the car against modeling error, external disturbances and get good handling performance.

Abstract: Assistance control is an important control model of electric power steering system. When designing assistance control algorithm, we should not only consider the handiness and stability of steering, but also think of the assistance stability and disturbance resistance from the road surface. In order to improve the overall performance of electric power steering, robust control theory is applied to develop the assistance control algorithm. Based on the above, a robust controller was designed. The influences of the assistance torque deviation and the road surface disturbance on steering were selected as the controlled output. Then the designed controller was tested on electric power steering test bed. The test results show that the robust controller is of better assistant performance than traditional PID controller.

Abstract: Two motors of Dual-Motor Independent Drive Electric Vehicle can be controlled independently, which can enrich the method of stability control for vehicle. In order to fully take use of the advantage,The man-vehicle system with eight degrees of freedom ,which includes Magic Formula tire model and driver model based on Preview Follower Theory, was set up by using MATLAB/SIMULINK. Considering the complexity of the driving condition and the nonlinear time-varying characteristics of the vehicle systems, a controller based on Sliding mode variable structure control theory was set up, which selected Yaw rate as Control variable and two motors as actuators. The simulation results show that handling and stability of vehicle can be improved greatly by the Sliding mode controller.

Abstract: We design an intelligent optimization system about the response of a traffic signal response, based on a research on traffic at various periods of Wuhan. Fedded traffic flow on the road monitored back to the SCM control system. On the basis of the existing traffic control devices, produce a new intelligent traffic lights according to the traffic flow to change the access time. And optimize the design through modeling and calculation. After simulation, the system significantly reduces the waiting time of the automobile, relieves the burden of traffic at its peak, and eases the pressure on energy and the environment.

Abstract: With the development of science and technology, the requirement of intelligent control and energy save increases rapidly. From the above two points, a new design scheme of LED light brightness control is proposed in this paper. The brightness would be kept constant in the designated region. The constant brightness is realized by the illumination of the surrounding and LED light. The total circuit includes detection circuit and control circuit. The detection circuit is used to examine the outside brightness and transfer information to the control circuit. The control circuit determines the current of LED light.

Abstract: This paper introduces the thermal power plant boiler drum water level control, using cascade three-impulse control strategy, based on the distributed control system to realize the control of the drum water level. This paper analyzes the main variables affect the drum water level, the dynamic characteristics of the drum water level, the principle of the cascade three-impulse control strategy, brief introduction to the main function of the main and auxiliary loops, The basic idea and implementation methods of distributed control system and draw a simple logic diagram.

Abstract: Based on the internet of things (IOT), the application of the intelligent monitoring system in agriculture is studied. Tomato cultivation is chosen as the researching object. Various domain experts’ knowledge and experience on internet of things, intelligent control technology and tomato cultivation are integrated. Vegetable cultivation intelligent monitoring system is studied. Detailed design of database, which is the basic part of intelligent monitoring system, is carried out. Design includes conceptual design, logic design and physical design. Further design of the system is also discussed.
