Abstract: By using double-grate biomass briquette combustion equipment, the article carried out the experiments which are the excess air coefficient、 the furnace-tank temperature、 the diameter of fuel 、the thickness of fuel and the operating level influence upon the slagging rate. Then, we found the slagging characteristics of biomass briquette combustion equipment, According to test and investigations, we concluded that the slagging rate of burning double-grate biomass briquette combustion equipment is only about 3% in the best condition; the combustion equipment has low slagging character. Then the author analyzed the slagging process and its influential factors of biomass briquetting combustion. further, the author concluded slag’s form and causes of biomass briquette combustion equipment and we provide a scientific basis for reasonable combustion control、 security and economic combustion.

Abstract: Aiming at the damage of package caused by emergency rescue and other severe transportation environment, a multi-level cushioning packaging storage box is proposed in this paper, the precise instrument is fixed in the box, which achieves the box-instrument integration. At the moment when air-dropped box touches the ground, the impact force is absorbed and cushioned through plastic cork base, rubber absorber, box body, steel wire rope spring, hydraulic damper for five times, which could provide effective cushion protection for the precise instrument which fragility value is not less than 15G. Simulation airdrop tests are performed to the storage box with different cushion levels, and the test shows that the result of five-level cushion method proposed in the paper is the best, and overload values are all within 12G, which could provide enough cushion space for precise instrument to avoid touchdown damage.

Abstract: The flame used in combustion flame spraying is typical of a high-temperature free jet. The flow fields of free jets are multi-phase flows that couple the mass and heat transfer. The analytical and numerical solutions to turbulent flows are engineering approximations. This work uses Prandtle’s mixing-length theory to describe the flame spreading of free combustion spray jet and uses nozzle spray model to describe the distribution of the powder particles sprayed from powder nozzle to the substrate surface. The nozzle geometry and the parameters determine the distribution of the powder particles. The nozzle spray model has the same physical meaning with the jet spreading angle. Experimental measurements were carried by a high-speed CCD camera.

Abstract: The paper aims to study the deformation and compensation of the reflector for RF-excited diffusion-cooled CO2 laser. Based on ANSYS, the thermal deformation and compensation of the reflector have been calculated, It has been proved that the effect of temperature compensation is obvious, and can correct the thermal deformation of the reflector to the tolerance of the parameter of optical cavity.

Abstract: Made a static analysis of the SDOF rolling arm of the crankshaft rolling mechanism by using ANSYS finite element analysis software, obtained stress distribution and deformation of the rolling arm in clamping condition, then optimized the size of the rolling arm. Achieve the purpose of reducing the weight of the rolling arm,within the yield limit of the material.

Abstract: This paper introduces the 3D numerical simulation of unsteady turbulent flow in the entire flow passage of a water turbine model with CFD technology. A new and available method for the design of a Francis turbine has been explored. The boundary conditions have been implemented based on the 3D averaged N-S equations. The governing equations are discreted on space by the finite volume method and on time step by the finite difference method. The 3D unsteady turbulent flow in an entire Francis turbine model is calculated successfully using the CFX-TASCflow software and RNG k-εturbulence model. Transient flow fields are simulated in the spiral case, the distributor, the runner and the draft tube. It is presented in this paper that the computer simulation of the flow fields in components of the Francis turbine at the optimum operating condition. Meanwhile, the velocity and pressure at any points in the flow fields can be obtained so as to provide the great value on the performance prediction. According to the simulating results, the flow analysis and the design experience, the design of components in a Francis turbine model can be improved and optimized. In this way, designers may decrease numbers of test and shorten the period for a model. Therefore, the cost of research and produce can be reduced.

Abstract: A mechanical arm of hot extruding and upsetting machine 3D model was established by using SolidWorks and imported into ADAMS. The mechanical arm was simulated in ADAMS and the simulation results showed that the model of mechanical arm could meet all the design requirements well, and the kinematics simulation results could offer the references to design the mechanical arm of hot extruding and upsetting machine.

Abstract: The paper presents the sketch and the functioning principle of the rotating volumetric pump. The paper presents a mathematical model that establishes the coordinates (xi, yi) of the outline of a profiled rotor. A software that computes these coordinates is developed for a series of rotor dimensions. Based on these coordinates, the 3D model of the rotor is built using the software package CATIA V5. An appropriate post-processor generates a NC Code program written in ISO language, in order to manufacture the rotor on a vertical CNC center. Finally, the operation sheet regarding the design and manufacturing of the profiled rotor is presented. The demonstration model of the profiled rotor will integrate the construction of a rotating volumetric pump.

Abstract: Virtual simulation of the tumbling machine for huge cylindrical segment was done in the design process with COSMOSMotion module of Solidworks software. This machine could rotate from 0 to 180°. Within 0°to 53°, the rotation was driven by traction equipment. From 53°to 180°,the rotation was driven by dead-weight of the machine. Hydraulic buffer equipment and 4 rubber buffer beams were used to reduce the impact force between the tumbling table and the base. The simulation analysis shows that the structure design was reasonable and the buffer function was fine, too.
