Abstract: Microorganism endangers human health and safety. Traditional microbiology detector has problems of long detection period, indistinct judgment standard, and etc. A turbidimetry based rapid microbiology detector is designed in this paper. The detector is mainly composed of drawer typed chest with slide rail of wheel train, auto in-and-out device of centric slider-crank mechanism, and ultraviolet disinfection device. Such design is recommended for microbial detection where time, operation convenience and reliability of analytical techniques are of importance.

Abstract: This paper introduces the importance of the bolster spring in railroad traffic safety, and the present situation of detection about the free length of the bolster spring has been reviewed. For overcoming the shortcomings of the detection in accuracy and efficiency, a new method is proposed to detect and sort the free length of different specifications of bolster springs fast and high-precision,which based on laser scanning ranging principles and PC software programming. It will highly enhanced the detection precision and the accuracy of material selection.

Abstract: In order to analyze low signal-to-noise rate (SNR) of data transmission while XCTD (Expendable Conductivity, Temperature, and Depth) probe drops at several kilometers underwater, a channel impedance parameters dynamic change model is established. The analysis showed that the greater distributed capacitance between parallel wires having the greater impact on SNR in deep-water channel, improvement of wire structure and material and reduce the distributed capacitance can improve the signal to noise ratio and transmission rate significantly, and that is providing a new way to solve the problem for XCTD signal transmission.

Abstract: The new tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) needs rigorous testing to ensure product reliability before it is put into use. But traditional means usually used real vehicle running tests, with more energy consumption, and for a wide-range test was difficult to make. To this end, in this paper, a new TPMS test management system was proposed, which was a good solution to the above problem. The scheme is based on the advanced ZigBee wireless network technology and the RS-485 bus technology to achieve a system of joint networking, the programmable software management system based on JSP and SQL Server 2005 database, made good and practical effect.

Abstract: We present a convenient calibration method for structured light projection system. The proposed clibration approach can realize 3D shape measurement without projector calibration, without system calibration, without precise linear z stage to be used, the relative position between camera and projector can be arbitrary, and the only involved device is a plane board. Experiment results validated that the accuracy of the proposed approach.

Abstract: A novel process-monitor multimodal optimization algorithm, called Pmdcopt-aiNet is given. It is based on biological immune network mechanism for process-monitor global-numerical optimization. The Pmdcopt-aiNet models can clone the process-monitor operation using dynamic cloning operation which is adopted from biological immune network mechanism. The experiments based on the multimodal benchmarks were carried out to compare the performance of Pmdcopt-aiNet with that of other existing algorithms. The experimental results in process monitoring show that the new algorithm is capable of improving search performance significantly in successful rate and convergence speed when compared with the already existing method.

Abstract: A new type detecting device was developed according to the demand of the liquid single particle size analysis. Based on side scatter detection technology, the device used a semiconductor laser as light source. By introduction of the hydrodynamics, sample particles were focused sequentially through the measuring beam. The lateral scattering lights were received by high-sensitivity avalanche photodiode. So the particles’ size can be achieved by analyzing the scattered light pulse signal magnitude. Experiment results showed that the device can detect 0.35μm particle effectively, and its particle size detection limit is superior to the existing liquid particle detection products in the market. In addition, the hydrodynamics focusing technology contributed to more prominently distinguish rate. The device has broad application prospects in the pharmaceutical, medical and polymer industries.

Abstract: In this paper, the chaotification problem of a stable permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) system is investigated. First, the stable PMSM plant is exactly represented by a simple continuous-time T–S fuzzy model with a few IF-THEN rules. A simple time-delay feedback controller is designed by parallel distributed compensation (PDC) technique. Then, Based on the T–S fuzzy system, We realize the anticontrol of chaos for the stable PMSM system by choosing parameters properly. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed chaotic anticontrol method is verified by simulation results.

Abstract: This paper describes the synthesis of robust and non-fragile state feedback controllers for T-S fuzzy system with time-varying delay in a range and parameter uncertainties. A new method is proposed by de¯ning new Lyapunov functionals and introducing some free-weighting matrices. Impr oved delay-dependent results are presented.

Abstract: With the development of brain-computer interface (BCI) technology, researchers are now attempting to put current BCI techniques into practical applications. This paper proposes an intelligent telephone dialing system controlled by a steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP) based BCI. This dialing system consists of four parts: a visual stimulator, EEG signal acquisition and amplification, PC real-time processing system and an auto telephone dialing module. Seven volunteers participated in an experiment designed to test the performance of the dialing system. The experimental results suggested that all subjects succeeded in the phone dialing with mean accuracy rate of 94.5% and mean bit rate of 33.31 bit/min.
