Abstract: Poly (ethylene terephthalate) (PET)/SiO2/TiO2 hybrid composites were prepared via the Sol-gel method that involves two steps: the as-prepared PET was dissolved into the mixed solution of phenol and dichloroethane by adjusting the pH value of the reaction system to 2~3 using acetic acid; then both the tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS) and the tetrabutyltitanate (TBT) were successively added to the hybrid solution followed by the Sol-Gel reactions at strong stirring to form the three PET/SiO2/TiO2 composites with cohydrolysis-condensation reaction. The intrinsic viscosity of the hybrid composites were measured by using an Ubbelohde viscometer. The resulting products with the different SiO2-TiO2 content were thoroughly characterized with FT-IR.

Abstract: T-BN powders were successfully prepared by chemical vapor deposition method using BCl3, NH3 and Ar. The as received BN was less crystallized with turbostratic structure. The morphology of the powders was standard circular which is due to the homogeneous nucleation. The chemical composition of the BN powders was B and N, with B-N bonding. Keywords: Boron Nitride; Chemical vapor deposition; Structure

Abstract: To improve bonding strength between titanium alloy and coating and to eliminate thermal stress during laser cladding, a gradient coating materials is designed. And the gradient coating with different contents of multiple rare earth deoxide was produced by wide band laser cladding technique. The experimental results indicate that when addition of Sm2O3 is fixed to 0.3wt.%, as addition of Y2O3 increases, the microstructure of bioceramic is different. When addition of Y2O3 reaches 0.4wt.%, the amount of Ca-P based bioactive phases such as HA, α-TCP as well as β-TCP becomes biggest. After soaking the coating with 0.3wt.% Sm2O3 and 0.4wt.% Y2O3 in SBF for 14 days, a large amount of Ca-P white spherical particles can be observed on coating, which demonstrates the bioceramic coating is of best bioactivity.

Abstract: The mechanical and physical properties of metals are closely related to engineering applications. As ecological materials, color, taste and toxicity of metals should be taken into consideration. Metals have specific colors, such as gold, silver, bronze and iron. "Metallic taste" is another taste different from the sour, sweet, bitter, saltiness and umami. Directives in European Union reveal different toxicities on the health hazards.

Abstract: According to the arrangement of atoms, the solid materials can be divided into the crystals and the non-crystals. Short for quasi-periodicity crystal, quasicrystal, also known as the "quasi crystal" or "mimetic crystal", is an intermediate between crystals and non-crystals. Three mathematical laws hidden in the quasicrystal are Penrose puzzles, Fibonacci sequence and golden section, and the uniqueness of quasicrystals is five rotational symmetry nonexistent in common crystals. A few quasicrystals (such as Al65Cu20Fe10Mn5, Al75Fe10Pd15) are stable phases, while most of the quasicrystals belong to the metastable products, both of which are formed largely by the method of rapid cooling. Quasicrystal materials have a very high hardness, low coefficient of friction and non-stick characteristic, of which the unique performance is successfully applied in the frying pans, razor blades and surgical tools.

Abstract: in order to resolve the weaker wettability between the copper and SiC particles and analyze the micro-structure and thermal conductivity properties of the SiCp/Cu composites, the chemical plating technology and pressure-less sintering technique were utilized to fabricate SiCp/Cu composites. The results proved that SiC powders were more homogeneous in the SiCp/Cu composites and interfaces were clear. The coefficients of linear expansion of SiCp/Cu composites were nonlinear increased along with the measuring temperature increasing. When SiC content was constant, the coefficients of thermal expansion (CTE) and thermal conductivity (TCT) of the SiCp/Cu composites would reduce as the content of the SiC powder became higher.

Abstract: In this paper hexafluorophosphate anionic ionic liquid monomer. Through the ion exchange ([2-(methacryloyloxy) ethy trimethyl ammonium hexafluoro phosphate ionic liquids) ([MATM[PF6]) was prepared. Also through the atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP), the required poly (ionic liquid) (PIL) was easy to gather and had a very high yield, mixed with polylactic acid in solution and observed on the influence of PLAs crystallinity and compatibility. From differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) analysis results are seen that poly (ionic liquid) concentration in a certain range goes against poly (lactic acid)(PLA) crystallization and reduces the ability of crystallization.

Abstract: Abatract: The poly (L-lactide)/laponite composite films are prepared by the method of solution blending with polylactide (PLA) and laponite. The results show that when laponite content was lower than 0.2 %( mass w/w), laponite can be uniform dispersed in PLA and the composed material had good stability. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) study demonstrates that PLA was successfully incorporated with laponite by Si-O bond. The mechanical measurement reveals that the tensile strength of PLA/laponite composite film has been increased with compared to pure PLA. The water contact angle (WCA) tests indicate that the hydrophobicity of the laponite modified PLA films can be improved. The present study reveals that the laponite as a complexing agent can improve the mechanical properties and hydrophilicity of PLA.

Abstract: In order to improve the interface wettability between the SiCp and Cu materials, the chemical plating and hot pressing sintering technique were utilized to prepare the SiCp/Cu composites. The morphology of the SiC powder before and after chemical plating was studied and the micro-structure of hot-pressed sintered SiCp/Cu composites was investigated in details. The results showed that the finer SiC powder could improve the wear resistance ability of the SiCp/Cu composites obviously. The worn rate reduced with the size of the SiC powder increasing under the same load.

Abstract: The patent design provides one method for preparing photoelectricity thin film used in solar cell. It belongs to the field of photoelectric film preparation technology. The SnSe2 nanosheet was prepared from the solid powders of SnCl22H2O and SeO2. The hydrazine hydrate, NaOH and ammonia are used as reducing agents and assistant agent respectively in the patent. It includes the steps of reacting, heating, washing, drying to prepared Tin diselenide. The obtained SnSe2 with high purity has good dispersivity, and regular and uniform shape. The method has a wide application prospect because of safety process and the pollution-free and manageability aided solution.
