Abstract: Urban is the product of human beings utilization, modification, and adaption to the nature; it is the footprint of human beings activities in the nature world. In the formation and development process of the cities, human beings keep exploring and creating artificial environment that satisfies our own desire. This paper based on the relationship of dialectical unity harmony between humans and nature, in order to construct eco-city.

Abstract: So far, various methods and schemes for mine water treatment are available. Finding new filtering materials capable for physical holding of solid particles and possessing sorption features is of great concern. This paper studies the adsorption capacity of modified perlite (Nachikinsk deposit, Kamchatka peninsula) of various size distribution to treat mine water of the abandoned Nagornaya mine, Partizansk city (Primorskiy Krai). Basic hydrochemical parameters of mine water when filtering through expanded water-repelling perlite.

Abstract: The technology of in situ air sparging (IAS) was used to remediate the groundwater polluted by petroleum hydrocarbon in an oil field. The results show that the soil geological condition has great influence on the injection air pathways distribution, and the pattern of the air pathways distribution is nonsymmetrical to the injection well as the vertical axis. The petroleum hydrocarbon removal rate reached to 70% in the zone with higher density of air pathways distribution, but only 40% in the zone with lower density of air pathways distribution, and the average removal rates of the petroleum hydrocarbon components reached to 60 % in the influence zone. The petroleum components with higher volatility are easily removed by volatilization, but those with lower volatility are difficult to remove, so a tailing effect of lingering residual contaminant exist when the technology is used to remediate groundwater polluted by petroleum hydrocarbon.

Abstract: The current situation of the Shaanxi provincial environmental protection industry was analysed from the three dimensions: environmental protection equipment manufacturing industry; environmental services industry; comprehensive utilization of resources and ecological environment protection. The factors of existing obstacles in development of environmental protection industry are mainly in: insufficient of demand for environmentally friendly products; unclear duty in the management of the environmental protection industry; lack of public policy support. This paper also makes policy recommendations for promoting the development of environmental protection industry.

Abstract: In the present experiment, we took a section of Liaohe River in east of Shuangan bridge Yingzhou District, Tieling as an example to study ecological slope protection technique of riverbank in an agricultural catchment. In order to assess the potential of the slope protection project, the length of new taproot, height of new branches, and base diameter of shoot were determined. The results showed that the pioneer species such as Salix suchowensis and Amorpha fruticosa are growing very well with strong root system and flourished branches, which can help control soil erosion effectively. Furthermore, the growth indexes of Salix suchowensis were higher than those of Amorpha fruticosa after five months growing. Along with the riverbank being reinforced by soil bioengineering technique, native plants have been in rapid restoration and biodiversity increases.

Abstract: Based on the complex mode of thinking and an “ecological-economic-social” multi-dimensional perspective, this paper faces the facts of the current constructive damage to the ecological environment of grassland in China, the continuing validity of ecological investment, and the new resources and environmental problems appeared during the industrialization, as well as the key issues need to be solved in ecological governance of grassland and the incapability of different systematic policies in ecological governance of grassland. It is revealed in this paper the confusions and problems appeared in the eco-economic models in the pastoral area, which aims at detecting the existing defects and institutional origin in current policies, and provides scientific basis for adjusting and completing the mechanism of policies in ecological governance of grassland.

Abstract: Scientific assessment of tourism environmental carrying capacity is key to geotourism sustainable development. Based on exploring the definition of tourism environmental carrying capacity of geoparks and its characteristics, by adopting methods of AHP and literature review this paper focuses on establishing an appraisal indicator system of tourism environmental carrying capacity of geoparks. However, its more reasonable to give weights of appraisal indicators for a given geopark for geoparks greatly differ in terms of natural, economical and socio-cultural environment. Thus, taking Xinwen Karst World Geopark in Sichuan province as an example, the paper calculates weights of indicators of the parks tourism carrying capacity with AHP method and measures its tourism environmental carrying capacity by using average weighted method. The findings reveal that Xinwen Karst World Geopark is in mild overloading.

Abstract: The construction of golf course is restricted by the natural environment, the illegal construction of golf course will also have a certain degree of environmental crisis. Golf has a strong dependence on the land resources, water resources, ecological environment, blind expansion of the golf course, the lack of effective supervision and management situations, will bring the problems of environment and resources. The rapid development of golf in China, on the one hand, has certain positive role on improve the city's investment environment, expand foreign exchanges, activate regional economy. on the other hand, produce many problems, such as the excessive consumption of water resources and a large number of land resources, the destruction of the ecological environment. Sustainable development of golf is inseparable from the protection of the environment, we must establish the concept of ecological civilization, protect the natural environment. The sustainable development of golf will be achieved by establishing and improving environmental protection system, increasing the awareness of managers on protecting environment, building an eco-golf course.

Abstract: China has a lot of ancient towns and villages that have been attracting international and domestic tourists. Tourism management in ancient towns and villages of China is crucial to delivering economic, social and environmental responsibility. The purpose of this paper is to describe and examine the problem of ancient towns and villages of China and to explain its underlying causes and the possibilities. Furthermore, the article argues that serious human damages, environmental pollution and ecological degradation are occurring ancient towns and villages at a rapid rate. The station has the potential to significantly undermine the prospects for tourism development of ancient towns and villages of China. In the light of this fact, it aims to make explicit the problem-solving principals, including the following recommendations: limiting business scope, infrastructure investment, green certification program, environmental education, inhabitant participation, and promoting tourism products. In the longer term, only when the stakeholders of ancient town and village tourism collaboration, will truly obtain integrated sustainable management.
