Abstract: Public bicycle rental system plays an important role in the construction of low-carbon city and the development of green traffic system. The reasonable layout of public bicycle station can ease the traffic jam effectively and improve the level of public bicycle service. This paper expounds the principles of bicycle station layout. With an analysis of the public bicycle traffic chain, classify the bicycle stations into 5 types and determine the relationship of each point. Finally, the paper built a bi-level model combined of feedback model spilt and traffic assignment model. The optimization model can make the travel and construction costs of the whole system get to the lowest, and it effectively solve the layout problem of bicycle rental stations.

Abstract: The traffic capacity of the highway toll station strongly affects the traffic capacity of the whole road, and restricts road traffic. In order to avoid the highway traffic jams and decline of traffic efficiency, this article studied highway tollgate queuing discipline, which is one of the main contributing factors, aiming to reduce waiting time and reduce traffic jams. Based on the study of arrival rate of vehicles during peak hours and normal time, waiting time, queue length and the average efficiency of the service for each tollgate, a reasonable and feasible mathematical model is proposed. In this model, the vehicle arrival data obeys the Poisson distribution and transformed service time obeys the exponential distribution. Related data was given and the hypothesis test was conduced. By comparing rules before and after the establishment of the highway queuing model, the author offered suggestions on highway construction.

Abstract: The paper introduces two methods of designing the number of berths of road-side bus stop, queue theory and regression analysis theory. Take Beijing Weigongcun bus stop as an example. On one hand, use queue theory to calculate service index to get reasonable number of berths considering the vehicle arrival disciplinarian. On the other hand, use linear and non-liner regressive analysis to calculate reasonable number of berths though analysing the 4 independent factors, which influence the parking capability of bus stop. At last, contrastively analyze the two methods on advantages, disadvantages and applicable conditions in connection with practice to make up for the comparison research field.

Abstract: To satisfy the requirement of short delivery time, this paper proposes subway (light rail transport) as vehicle for city delivery and express. With the convenient service, it will improve the efficiency of city logistics and promote the development of e-commerce. The system can effectively avoid the congestion of trucks on road, reduce fuel consumption and reduce the damage to the environment for the subway is driven by electricity. The automated warehouse management system is proposed in this paper, which is built on Siemenss SIMATIC S7 PLC control system and SQL database, and is designed for small and medium-size cargo to make transportation efficient and timely.

Abstract: Based on the investigation of traffic flow in a typical highway tunnel group, the traffic flow characteristics were analyzed by catastrophe theory with the relationship of the speed, volume and density. The discontinuous leaping change phenomenon of the traffic data under large traffic volume is better explained by the catastrophe model than the traditional ways. The value of critical density can be obtained by analyzing the critical state of traffic flow. Then the traffic flow warning can be realized in highway tunnel group region. The data and results can be used for the reference of taking traffic control measures by highway management.

Abstract: The paper deals with determination of the medical fitness of drivers. They were psychologically tested with particular emphasis on visual perception. The research included visual perception - spatial vision and adapting to the darkness with the aim to show impact of age and education of the respondents to obtained results. The study included truck drivers, bus drivers and people with pre-test candidates and checking on driving instructors or examiners.

Abstract: Developing the waterway infrastructure construction can improve the efficiency of energy utilization, reduce the energy consumption intensity and carbon dioxide emissions. Till the year 2020, China plan to complete 19,000 kilometers high grade channel. Construction of water infrastructure construction requires a large capital investment. However, the main financial source of funding the construction of transportation infrastructure at present in China is special financial allocation of the government. The unitary financing structure as well as the funding pressure has leaded to some serious financing problems. This paper applied the real options theory to the waterway infrastructure construction financing, analyzed the limitations of the NPV method and the advantages of real option method in investment decision of waterway infrastructure construction, and took an example to show its feasibility.

Abstract: According to statistical data of Fuzhou City, using Delphi method and weight method, we established decision matrix of urban public transportation development mode and estimated the urban public transportation development mode. The result show that bus rapid transit system is the optimal public transportation mode for Fuzhou city, followed by conventional public transport system, then, for light rail system. And that bus rapid transit system matching with urban passenger transportation is good in Fuzhou city

Abstract: The total social benefits of urban mass transit consist of determined and undetermined benefits. Traditional methods of market valuation can be used to assess the determined benefits, including savings in parking costs, energy conservation etc. However, the undetermined benefits, such as increased economic productivity as a result of improved mobility, are difficult to be estimated by using the traditional methods. The Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) represents a more encompassing alternative that can capture both determined and undetermined benefits. CVM is applied to valuate the social benefits of Shanghai's urban mass transit. The valuation result shows that the social benefits brought by urban mass transit system in the city of Shanghai are about 70.774-99.461 billion RMB per year. Meanwhile, the result is tested with the econometrics method. This study indicates that CVM can overcome the shortcomings of the traditional market valuation method. Furthermore, CVM provides a scientific way to evaluate the total social benefits of urban mass transit.

Abstract: In China, with the accelerated urbanization and the rapid growth of urban population, potential urban emergency risk factors gradually increased. Therefore, how to forecast the urban emergency events seems to be important. This study elaborated the mechanism of catastrophe theory and grey forecast method, established the grey cusp catastrophe model according to further research. An empirical analysis on Chinese urban traffic accident forecast was made by this model through four indicators: the number of occurrences, the number of deaths, the number of people injured and direct economic losses. By operating the model with data from 2002 to 2006, the accuracy is verified. Based on data from 2002 to 2011, the model result shows that the next traffic accident occurrence catastrophe will occur in 2015-2016, the next death number catastrophe will occur in 2012-2013, the next injured number catastrophe will occur in 2018-2019, the next direct economic loss catastrophe will occur in 2014-2015.
