Abstract: In recent years accidents in deep excavation have frequently occurred, which brought a heavy loss in lives and property. The past cases of accident indicated water was a key one of accident resource. In this paper, water-control and its influencing factors in deep excavation were researched from sealing, draining and dewatering, and then fault tree of waterproofing was set up. The probability of waterproofing failure was calculated using Fuzzy Mathematics, and importance degrees for basic events were analyzed to find the events which would lead to the occurrence of the top event. The analysis can be used to make safety measures.

Abstract: The paper presents the research report studied at the largest natural gas producer and the petroleum retail market leader in Malaysia. The study is to understand the logistics performance measurement in the supply chain, including the theoretical discussion on data collected and logistic performance of a real organization using the balanced scorecard. Besides that, the study will also access the performance of the company and followed by identifying the problems and provides recommendations for improvements.

Abstract: Under the on-going globalization economic trend, for international businesses that transports raw material, intermediary goods, and end products across borders, establishing and sustaining an efficient supply chain is the most critical part of their business strategy to succeed. But how do managers know that the firms supply chain is performing efficiently and effectively Continuous measurement to obtain feedback and implementation of improvements based on the retrieved information is the answer to that. Balanced scorecard, which was developed by Kaplan and Norton, was a milestone for performance evaluation in supply chain management, which asserted in measuring performance not just from financial perspective, but to determine by focusing on the customer, internal process, and learning & growth. Since then to present, the scorecard has been evolved to further generations to correspond with the rapid changing economic situation.The following case study on Danone Dumex Sdn Bhd was conducted on a purpose to appraise a practical international business supply chain by using first generation balanced scorecard as a gauge. Danone Dumex was chosen as evaluation target due to the nature of business, which is a manufacturing firm that requires multinational logistics. For the research method, company report was reviewed, personal interview to a supply chain director was performed, and extensive information sources were revised and filtered. From the assessment, for customer, financial, and internal process perspective, Danone Dumex had an outstanding performance. This is attributable to their business strategy of customer above all, and based on that, the firm has established a prominent standard in quality control and market forecasting system, and implemented to its supply chain by utilizing customized SAP. Meanwhile, their less emphasis on learning and growth perspective should be reconsidered in a long-run, as its competitors are improving on the same direction as Danone Dumex is heading.

Abstract: As petrochemical production equipment with a high degree of risk, on-site training of operating staff and management has brought a great deal of difficulty. Therefore, this paper introduces our research and development work based on virtual reality technology to construct a virtual environment of petrochemical enterprises for on-site training of operating staff and management. To establish the virtual petrochemical enterprises, we adopted 3DMAX as a modeling tool, the VRP (Virtual Reality Platform) as a virtual reality platform as an operation platform. First of all, we create the various sub-scene of the area of petrochemical plants and do model integration and processing to result in the virtual scene with the virtual reality software. Then, we set interactive interface, allowing users to interact with the platform, which makes operations easier. We built-in virtual cameras and pre-recorded screen video to help play the presentation of the video content automatically, so that without human interaction will require. Finally, the role of script will blend with the real three-dimensional scene, the 2D panel and the daemon in order to obtain the true visual display. Therefore, the developed virtual petrochemical enterprise platform has a good show with its real intuitive.

Abstract: In order to reinforce the efficiency and initiative of accident prevention for reducing accident loss, the surest way is to strengthen the prediction. In view of difficulties in aviation accident prediction, a prediction method based on Auto-Regressive Integrating Moving Average (ARIMA) is proposed. In this method, a trial model is first identified for an accident time series, and then the diagnosis is executed with the necessary adjustments. The calculation process including identification, estimation and diagnosis is repeated until obtain a satisfactory model. The example shows that, ARIMA has a good prediction for aviation accident and provides an important technique support for decision-making of aviation safety.

Abstract: In order to improve the prediction of aviation unsafe events, a hybrid prediction method of aviation unsafe events based on grey catastrophe and regression analysis method is proposed. At first, the catastrophe points (date) are found from original unsafe events data to establish the grey catastrophe model for predicting the future catastrophe points, and then the grey prediction model for these catastrophe points is built to calculate the catastrophe value corresponding to future catastrophe points. For non-catastrophe points, the appropriate regression analysis model needs to be established. Example validates its effectiveness.

Abstract: The portfolio analysis is a method for the strategic selection of energy sources able to drive the sustainable evolution of the renewable energy balance. In this paper the portfolio theory is applied in the Italian electricity market for different renewable energy sources (biomass, hydro, photovoltaic and wind) with the aim to select, by diversification, optimal portfolios that minimize investment risk. This analysis can be useful for energy planners to select future green scenarios based on the increasing use of renewable energy.

Abstract: The minorities in Yunnan are quite skilled at weaving and embroidering techniques, and they boast the unique materials and special textile art form. With the plant material resources in Yunnan, they are able to create numerous kinds of patterns and drawings on the textile fabric, surrounded by the local rural flavor and intense ethnic characteristics. However, with the social and economic development, together with the opening to the outside world, this ethnic textile activity which reserves much of the primitive style and national characteristics has shrunk and stalled at this moment, turning into the modern manufacturing of commercialization. It is a necessity for the textile art design to embody distinctive nationality and local characteristics before opening to the world. At present, it is of great value to study the textile materials and art forms of the minorities in depth and figure out the whole process from the acquisition and preliminary processing of textile raw material to spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing.

Abstract: In order to solve the key technology and method in reliability study of the long-life products, the analysis method of degradation data based on the degradation amount distribution was proposed in this paper. On the basis of statistical model, by analyzing three models of degradation amount distribution, it can be got there is a large number of reliability information with high-reliable and long-life products in performance degradation data. In the case of not getting the failure data by life test and accelerated life test, reliability assessment and life prediction could be carried out for high reliability and long life products with performance degradation data.
