Abstract: The influence of Al3+ ions that had been solid dissolved in C-S-H on the amount of Na+ ions adsorbed on C-S-H surface was studied. The experimental results show that the solid dissolution of Al3+ ions in C-S-H structure makes the electronegative C-S-H surface increase electronegative amounts, that is the reason why the adsorption ability of C-S-H for Na+ ions increase.

Abstract: As the raw materials of preparing pillared-montmorillonite, before being pillared, Na-montmorillonite is pretreated by adding sodium hexametaphosphate (Na6(PO3)6) to soliquoid of it. Na6(PO3)6 is used as a dispersing agent. It is shown that adsorption capacity of pillared-montmorillonite on SO42-ion is increased compared with non-adding.

Abstract: In this study the high polymer materials and Trinidad lake asphalt are used as a modifier mixed by a specific proportion of base asphalt AC-20. There are modified asphalt, containing viscosity, penetration degree, ductility, softening point and film aging tests in this study. We get the values of temperature scanning, creep scanning and frequency scanning by Dynamic shear rheometer. These values are used to assess the rheological characteristics of a variety of modified asphalt. Thus they provide various reference materials on the pavement.

Abstract: This paper mainly focuses on revealing the hydration mechanism of new cementitious material of filling body through its microstructure analysis. According to the SEM samples preparation, analysis of different age of filling body microstructure and XRD diffraction mapping, the results showed that the hydration products were with large amount of ettringite, followed by C-S-H gel, calcium and silica. The main reason of strength increasing was the ettringite morphology and the hydration process. It was obtained that the hydration products of different activators were mainly the influence factor of strength, on basis of analyzing the microstructure of different activator materials.

Abstract: AC-13C asphalt mixtures were mixing with 3% Evotherm® content and the optimal compaction temperature was determined according to test results of specimens formed at 4 different compaction temperatures by Marshall method. The general water stability tests and Hamburg wheel-tracking device (HWTD) were used to test the water stability of 4 kinds of asphalt mixtures, which were ordinary asphalt mixture, Evotherm® asphalt mixture without adding any anti-stripping agent, Evotherm® asphalt mixture adding liquid anti-stripping agent and Evotherm® asphalt mixture adding hydrated lime. Test results shows that the optimal compaction temperature is about 125°C; and compared to ordinary asphalt mixture, the long-term water stability of Evotherm® asphalt mixture is obviously poor caused by the lower compaction temperature; the addition of either liquid anti-stripping agent or hydrated lime improve the water stability to a great extent; comparatively speaking, addition of hydrated lime is the optimum measure to improve the water stability of Evotherm® warm mixture asphalt.

Abstract: In this study, bamboo ply panel (BPP) was exposed to 5 kinds of accelerate aging cycles in order to assess its durability under extreme conditions. Meanwhile, outdoor weathering, as a comparison, was carried out for 36 months with the objective of evaluating humidity resistance by means of testing modules of rupture (MOR) and modules of elasticity (MOE) value. Results show that for each kind of laboratory aging process, a comparison to wild field weathering was possible. Though very susceptible to hydrothermal alternation, BPP still kept good performance, the life span was about 15 months.

Abstract: Huafeng mine 1141 roadway (the 5th) that the buried depth is nearly 1000m, the angel of roadway is larger, the physical and mechanical characteristics of surrounding rock are poor, belongs to typical large inclined angle soft rock deep roadway. Using the reasonable supporting way is very important to control the deformation of the surrounding rock in roadways. The strata control observation shows that the roadway deformation is in a predictable range, could effectively ensure the stability and service life of 1141 roadway (the 5th) by using combined support of anchor, bolting with band and net, composite U shape shed. It can provide reference function to the supporting way of similar deep roadway.

Abstract: Construction organization design is an important technology economy file of guiding the project construction. The sectional area of auxiliary inclined shaft is 21.6m2, belongs to big section of long inclined shaft. Based on the geological condition, auxiliary inclined shaft in Hecaogou mine optimized the construction organization design and adopted four-eight cross recycling way. Thanks to the use of high-power EBZ318H comprehensive tunneling machine, it has realized the rapid construction of inclined well, achieved the good grades of 227 m in the highest month .The well had good engineering quality and no safety accidents, implementing the fast construction of safe and efficient, high quality, economic benefit and social benefit . At the same time, it had accumulated rich experience for big section of long inclined shaft construction.

Abstract: The mechanics mechanism of bolt reinforcement of joint fissure test pieces were discussed with the method of variable angle plate indoor model experiment and the deformation of bolt control of jointed slope were analyzed by numerical simulation. The results show that: the bolt reinforcement can improve not only the integrity of joint fissure rock mass, but also be a very good control of deformation of jointed slope. It establishes the foundation on the quantitative for evaluation of joint fissure rock mass deformation and stability.

Abstract: The contact angle of three different reference liquids (i.e. distilled water, diiodomethane, and formamide) was measured by the sessile drop method by gently placing droplet onto the surface of the boron-compounds treated poplar veneer in this study. The permeability of the modified poplar veneer was evaluated. The surface free energy, as well as two components, namely, Lifshizvander Waals(LW) and Acid-base(AB), were calculated by the Acid-base theory, whereas the polar and nonpolar components were calculated according to the OWRK theory. The result shows that the initial contact angle of boron-compounds modified poplar veneer are significantly less than the untreated wood, which indicates that the wettability of boron-compounds polar veneer is better than the untreated wood. The same situation applies to the permeability. In addition, the surface free energy of boron-compounds modified poplar veneer is reduced, but the difference is very small.
