Abstract: In this paper, the spindles thermal characteristics of CNC milling machine in steady state and transient state are analyzed by using ANSYS, the temperature field and thermal deformation field are obtained. After a number of tests are done in different working conditions, the temperature and thermal deformation changes of spindle are measured in every working condition. Combing the FEM analysis with tests results, the thermal deformation of spindle from starting to reach thermal balance on CNC milling machine is discussed, some suggestions are presented to improve the process precision of CNC milling machine.

Abstract: The ultrasonic cutting of composite materials has the advantages such as high processing efficiency, high precision and non-pollution. The working principle of ultrasonic cutting is studied. The structure of circular tool is designed. The differential equation of tool frequency is established. The resonance frequency of tool is solved. Modal analysis is conducted for circular tool through ANSYS and the results are compared through tests.

Abstract: In this paper, a disk piezoelectric actuator structure - 4-9-9-14 piezoelectric actuator is constructed, and it is made of piezoelectric buzzer to drive a novel biaxial piezoelectric actuated stage. The 4-9-9-14 piezoelectric actuator offers a better balanced capability of forward rotation and reverse rotation than the conventional edge-driving piezoelectric actuator. The biaxial piezoelectric actuated stage structure comprises a base, a V-shaped guide rail, an optical scale measurement system, a preload adjusting structure, and a load-carrying stage. The movement of a stage is read and analyzed by means of LabVIEW operating in conjunction with an optical scale. Stage movement-related signals read by the optical scale are processed. With a human-machine interface of LabVIEW, the movement of the stage is depicted by a waveform chart to thereby facilitate the observation of the waveform chart and the understanding of propulsion of the stage by the actuator.

Abstract: The article summarily introduces the research progress of the laser and low-pressure medium jet composite processing. It simply introduces the investment of the workbench of the composite experiment, the etching experimental study of the ceramic and the high-speed steel, the experimental study of the composite cutting of the ceramic, and also introduces the influence of the water jet flow to the loss of the laser energy during the composite processing. Finally, this article puts forward prospects to this technology.

Abstract: In order to obtain approximate solution of natural frequencies for the free vibration of anisotropic circular cylindrical shells made of GFRP (glass fiber-reinforced plastic) with symmetric boundary conditions, Loves theory and energy method are used. Computation results show that the fundamental natural frequency comes from different vibration modes while the winding angle varies, the effect of number of axial half waves is stronger than number of circumferential waves on natural frequency of free vibration of anisotropic circular cylindrical shell.

Abstract: The adjustment and durability test of steering column is an important parameter for automobiles safety, but the unified standard and test method is not yet formed. To solve the shortcomings of the traditional testers, such as less-automated, few test item, low universalness and weak ability of data report generation, this paper design a new test machine for the adjustment and durability of automobiles steering column on the basis of advanced foreign standards and test method. The test result indicated that this test machine embodies the characteristic of easy operation, stable function, and wide suitability, which improves the measurement accuracy and efficiency.

Abstract: In the drive of market demand, postpress equipments developing rapidly. Because of environmental protection and energy saving, pre-coating technology has broad application prospects. But in China, the design of the machine are mostly generic and doesnt have a set of perfect design theory. There is no design innovation from the source. Using virtual prototype technology, the structural design of the key components of the pre-coated laminating machine to the paper feed mechanism is improved. Through the three-dimensional modeling, assembly and disassembly, adjustment mechanism simulation, motion simulation of mechanism, the physical, mechanical performance analysis, simulation, prediction, realizes fast implementation and optimization design, improves the processing and assembly technology.

Abstract: Apart from the aerodynamic drag produced by transitional motion of high-speed train, the rotational parts of the train, especially the ventilated discs mounted on axles, would also cause resistance torques due to air pumping effect, which consume traction power. In this paper the train running process is divided into traction, uniform running and braking three phases, then the power consumed by the brake discs as well as the proportion of which in total traction or braking power during the three periods is calculated based on kinetic energy theorem. The results indicate that, during traction and uniform running period, the power consumption of brake discs shares 2.84% and 12.87% of total traction power, and in brake stage, the proportion is 0.78%. What is more, in the uniform running phase, the proportion of brake discs power consumption caused by resistance torque can reach to 7.68%. If the air inlet of brake disc is blocked during traction and uniform running period to weaken air pumping effect, the useless power consumption can be effectively reduced and the traction efficiency can be improved.

Abstract: Based on our proposed superposition principle of the magnetic field, the drive system of parallel moving type and rotation moving type lifting permanent magnet were designed. Industry prototypes were manufactured, respectively, and they verify that the designed lifting permanent magnets are feasible.

Abstract: In order to ensure the system behavior of vehicle CAN network and its ECU nodes meet the requirements of high fault tolerance in complex communication conditions. The CAN networks bit-level interference test method in data link layer based on FPGA was studied. Monitored bit stream and embedded interference by behavior level description through Verilog HDL based on FPGA. Simultaneously, host computer configuration interface which is based on Visual C++ was developed. Using the design of this paper interfered the CAN network evidenced the design can implement interference effectively and flexibly to CAN, reliable stability and high fault tolerance of CAN network can be verified.
