Abstract: In the optimization design of the gear hobbing machine bed, the finite element model is build and the static analysis and vibration modal analysis are performed. Then sensitivity analysis is used to gain the main design parameters which influence the bed property most. Furthermore, the multi-objective optimization design of the bed is performed in ANSYS Workbench with these design parameters as the design variables. At last, after all optimum proposals are showed up, Analytic Hierarchy Process is used to determine the weighting coefficient, and the most optimal solution is found out. As a result, the dynamic and static performances of the machine bed are improved under control of the machine bed mass.

Abstract: We will study the effective value of the angle which affect on the bolted joint surface by the experimental research method. It gets the effective angle under different conditions in the experiment by the way of researching the joint surface stiffness which changing during the joint surface area changing in the paper. This results provide valid reference for the mechanical structure design which with the bolted joint surface, so as to achieving the purpose of more efficiency during the mechanical structure design.

Abstract: FEA of software in the traditional sense mainly emphasizes model calculation, output the static visualization results in virtual environment, cannot meet the demand for visual product requirement in digital product cooperation interactive design system. Using visualization technology in mechanical virtual test system to develop a more realistic virtual environment, realization virtual reality assembly and real-time interactive of model simulation and practical test can directly reflect the product state, better understand and analyze mass product and test data, save cost and shorten manufacturing cycle.

Abstract: Gravity heat pipe has been widely used in many heat transfer devices due to its high thermal conductivity, low cost and sample structure. In the paper, an experimental investigation of the gravity heat pipe with cross internal helical microfin gravity with two kind of working fluid (water and butyl alcohol solution with 5% mass fraction) was presented from horizontal and vertical position. The experimental results showed that in the horizontal position, self-rewetting fluid can significant increases the GHPCIHMs drying limit, decreases the thermal resistance and improves the heat transfer performance. In the vertical position, gravity effect play main functions on fluid return, self-rewetting has not been proved to have played a positive role on the heat transfer performance.

Abstract: The gravity heat pipe is a reliable and efficient heat transport device and has been widely used in many places. By now, there have four methods to improve the gravity heat pipe performance, high efficiency working medium, internal surface treatment, inside plug-in and other categories. In the paper, an experimental investigation of the operating characteristics of the gravity heat pipe with cross internal helical microfin gravity filled with water was presented and compared with general heat pipe from horizontal and vertical position. The experimental results showed that in the horizontal position, GHPCIHM has lower evaporation section temperature and axial temperature difference, and the drying limit is 1.5 times higher than general GHP. In the vertical position, mass nucleation site, characteristic surface tension and special helical angel make GHPCIHM lower thermal resistance and higher heat transfer performance than general GHP.

Abstract: The influence of chemical composition, heat treatment process and microstructure on the properties of E40 heavy plate have been studied. After normalization process of thick TMCP plate for high strength hull steel, the structure is substantially more regular, but the strength decreases. The former microstructure consists of lath-like bainite, but after heat treatment it consists of ferrite and pearlite. The mechanical properties meet the requirement of GB 712 prescript. With cooling rate decreasing, grain size in normalizing samples increases gradually, and the strength decreases. With the holding time extending, grain growth is not obvious, and the strength decreases. The best normalizing temperature is 910 °C, and the best holding time is about100 min.

Abstract: When the sheet metal is curled into the pipe, springback always makes it in poor roundness. Experiments show that the process parameters can influence the springback value. So in this paper it took series of researches to find the regularity of process parameters influence the curling springback. In this paper it designed one set of curling mould, and chose the punch force, material properties, blank thickness and friction condition as the subject studied separately. After experiments it obtained the influence regularity, and then it took an analysis on the phenomenon in this paper. The results will be helpful to decrease the springback value in curling process.

Abstract: In target area of Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF) facility, the rectangular beams arrangement at the main amplifier (MA) output is mapped to the spherical-geometry beams configuration near the target chamber. The beams are imported into the final optical assemblies with special angles. In this paper, the transport beams arrangement design of SG-III facility is described. Firstly, the primary requirements of the transport beams arrangement in ICF target area system are given. Then the typical transport beam pathway from the MA output to the target chamber center is analyzed. The general layout, beams path length, and the parameters of transport mirrors are discussed for the transport beam arrangement.

Abstract: The technology is introduced about mechanical ball milling and liquid phase sintering of machining crumbs of steel based carbide alloy in this article. The materials obtained from machining crumbs of steel-bonded cemented carbide are qualified compared with the conventional steel-bonded cemented carbide materials in the aspects of hardness, wear resistance by using the technology and the process is reasonable and practicable, according to experimental results. It can be extremely important when considering the recycling and make full use of tungsten resources.

Abstract: Aiming at the high energy-consuming characteristics of Chinese marine fishery, the application of LED in Chinese marine fishery is analyzed. It has remarkable energy-saving effect if the fishing style of trawling is replaced by light-seine fishing, and the gathering-fish lamps of metal halide lamps or incandescent lamps are replaced by LED light sources. The conversion of the trawlers to light-seine vessel and widespread use of LED light sources will lead to cut down energy consumption and increase the economic benefits. Based on rough calculation, it can make Chinese fisherfolk increase income about hundreds of millions of dollars and reduce more than millions of tons CO2 emission if the conversion of the trawlers to light-seine vessel and the replacement of metal halide lamps or incandescent lamps to LED light sources can reach 20% of all. Moreover, LED light source can use for general lighting purpose in marine fishery. All of these will cause the development of the correlative industries. For instance, the market demand of LED is very vast.
