Abstract: On the basis of ASPEN PLUS-based Gibbs free energy minimization, a biomass gasification model was modified by the restricted equilibrium of the RGIBBS reactor and developed and used to simulate glucose. It is showed that the simulation result and experiment result fit well. In the process of pomace gasification in supercritical water, a sensitivity analysis with temperature and pressure is performed and the research of the gas heating value has been done. From the analysis result, without using catalyst, the temperature has influenced on the gas product most and the pressure has little effect on gas product.

Abstract: In this study, using lignite as a reducer, the reaction characteristic of the reduction decomposition of phosphogypsum to SO2 and lime was investigated in a nitrogen atmosphere at different conditions. Scanning electron microscopy and XRD-ray diffraction were used to analyze the solid production. The gas production of SO2 was analyzed by the Gas Analyzers. The experiment results showed that the optimal conditions for production of SO2 are founded to be a molar proportion of C:CaSO4=0.8:1 and a decomposition temperature of over 1000°C.Under these conditions the maximum concentration of SO2 reached to 8.23% (vol. %). The CaO content of solid production increased to 62.57%. The desulfurization rate of phosphogypsum reached to 95.16%.

Abstract: A series of four 3-acyl-5-hydroxybenzofuran derivatives (4a-4d) were synthesized by one-pot method under microwave irradiation from aldehydes, dimethylformamide dimethyl acetal (DMFA) and benzoquinone in high yields. These compounds were characterized by IR, NMR and ESI-MS, which were also tested for in vitro anti-proliferative activity against human breast cancer ER(+)-MCF-7 and ER(-)-MDA-MB-231 cell lines. The bioactive compound 4d exhibited the best anti-breast cancer activity against MCF-7 cells with the IC50 values of 43.08 μM. The compound might be used as a potential anti-tumor agent for the further structure modifications and development.

Abstract: Using solid phase microextraction - Gas Chromatography - mass spectrometry (SPME-GC-MS) technique to acid and methionine bad blood (ASA-Met) analysis of the reaction products, the influence of Cu2+ on the model reaction flavor compounds form effect. 27 flavour compounds thiophene, furan, pyrazine, sulfur and other compounds, were identified, including sulfur compounds, such as aliphatic cyclic sulfides, sulfide, thiophene, pyrazine as main components. Cu2+ was added to the reaction mode, on the one hand, sulfur-containing compounds yield increased significantly; on the other hand, increasing the thiophene, pyrazine compound types, yield increase.

Abstract: A novel nonpeptide angiotensin II receptor 1 antagonist, compound 1, N-butyryl-N-[(2'-(2, 5-dihydro-5-oxo-1, 2, 4-oxadiazol-3-yl) biphenyl-4-yl) methy-L-Valine was investigated by receptor-binding studies and vivo experiments in spontaneously hypertensive rats and renal hypertensive rats. Furthermore, treatment with compound 1 significantly inhibited the viability of human breast cancer cell line and promoted apoptosis of the cancer cells. The compound had the effects of anti-hypertension and anti-cancer, which suggested that this new compound could be considered as a candidate for both novel anti-hypertensive and anti-cancer agent.

Abstract: After hydraulic reclamation of the dredger fill, as the deposition of surface sludge requires a relatively long time, the consolidation treatment cannot be immediately performed until the sludge-water separation is completed and the separated water is drained. The laboratory test makes a research on the effects of chemical agents and drainage condition on the sludge deposition process. The research shows that the early-stage deposition velocity of sludge is increased obviously and the sludge-water separation time is shortened after water hydrophobing agents and polymeric flocculants are added. However, the later-stage deposition velocity is slow and the deposition strength is low. Thus, certain drainage conditions are required to increase the later-stage deposition velocity and deposition strength of sludge.

Abstract: It is very crucial that arepresentative training set can be extracted from a pool of real samples. Inthis paper, a representative set of correction samples of wheat protein contentis selected by using SPXY algorithm firstly; Secondly, the spectral data ispretreated to enhance spectral features; Thirdly, the model of wheat grainprotein is established by using partial least squares regression. The resultsshow that the model established by the calibration set selected by SPXY isbetter than the model established by the calibration set selected randomly.Root mean square error of prediction(RMSEP) and prediction correlationcoefficient(R) are 0.41094 and 0.97705 respectively, which are similar to themodel established by the initial calibration set.

Abstract: Low grade ore iron with high phosphorus(LGIOWHP), an industrial solid waste is used as an adsorbent to remove phosphate anions from wastewater. The effects of initial pH, stirring speed, reaction time, reaction temperature and adsorbent dosage on the phosphate removal rate were investigated. The results show that the phosphate removal rate exceed 99% under the optimal conditions. After phosphate removal reaction, the phosphate concentrations completely meet the requirement of national discharge standards of the second category pollution (GB 8978- 1996).

Abstract: To establish the flotation response and suitability of the collectors, series of bench-scale flotation tests are conducted for the refractory oxide copper ores obtained from Yangla Mine in Yunnan province. A simple xanthate (PAX) is used as the sulphide collector and a chelating reagent of hydroxamate AM28 as the oxide collector. It is found and confirmed by mineralogical examination that AM28 successfully recovered all the discrete copper oxide minerals from the Yangla ore. The flotation tests show that the overall copper recovery is affected due to the minerals copper associated with goethite which is not amenable to flotation. The average copper recovery from the rougher tests is 38.4% with a concentrate grade of 3.19%. The additional cleaning flotation can increase the Cu grade in concentrate further.
