Abstract: “Living and working in peace and contentment” is the ideal goals of people since the ancient times, while old community’s renovation is an important aspect of it. This paper firstly analyzes the definition of livable community and the necessity of old community’s renovation, establishing the livable evaluation index system about old community’s renovation, and try to use the BP artificial network to analysis the livability.

Abstract: Modern sightseeing agriculture is a new type of agriculture, which is developed on the basis of traditional agriculture, gets agricultural production and tourism and leisure together. In the planning of modern sightseeing agriculture, integrate the garden art theory, create a unique landscape with agricultural characteristics, which can enrich the spiritual life of the people, achieve organic unity of economic, social and ecological benefits. This article combines garden art with modern sightseeing agriculture, gradually elaborates the application of garden art in modern sightseeing agriculture from four levels such as philosophical thought, layout concept, spatial and temporal concept, and emotion view, researches on several projects of sightseeing agriculture in minority concentrated region of China, completes the overall artistic interpretation to modern sightseeing agriculture garden, provides a new way for development of modern sightseeing agriculture, has great significance of guiding the modern sightseeing agriculture to realize diversified development.

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to combine the sustainability evaluation system of China and put forward a sustainability assessment system based on urban residential district plan competition program. In this research, the status quo of the evaluation process was studied. As the core of the research, the establishment of URDPAS complements the assessment technology of residential district plan competition. The existing area scale sustainability assessment tools were analyzed. With the application of ANP method to determine the evaluation items and weighting system in urban residential district plan, decision-makers can use this evaluation process and assessment system to assess the residential district plans more comprehensively and rationally than using traditional methods and the selection of the best plan becomes relatively easier.

Abstract: Accelerating urbanization is China's "The Fifth" period of economic and social development of an important part of the overall strategy.Urbanization construction process speeded up in Guan- zhong region in recent years. At the same time, many problems appeared, Guanzhong area of farmland for construction land increased year by year, while the Guanzhong area in northern and central located in the Loess Plateau and the Weihe Plain, is the most serious soil erosion in China, the ecological envi- ronment of the most vulnerable areas. Urban sprawl compressed natural environment space, and destr- oyed undermined the balance of the ecosystem. To under the premise of ensuring food security and ecological security, only to improve land use efficiency. It adopts the PSR framework model to build urbanization index system of intensive use of land.It used the matter-element extension theory to evaluate, designed to evaluate land use efficiency and benefit, To find out the problems existing in the current land use and seek the most effective use way of land and to achieve sustainable land use.

Abstract: The existing tunnels may have an influence on seismic performance of adjacent underground pipelines. However, most of previous relevant studies are separately focused on seismic performance of the pipeline or the tunnel. In this paper, the major influencing factors of the existing tunnel in the seismic performance of adjacent underground pipelines, including joint types of the pipeline, the different angles and the distances between the pipeline and tunnel, were discussed. Numerical results show that flexible joint is the important factor which is helpful to decrease the settlement difference and the axial stress of the pipeline. Meanwhile, the relative position between the pipeline and the tunnel may also have a significant influence on seismic performance of pipelines.

Abstract: Information on the relationship between crop photosynthetic rate and water use efficiency at the leaf level and these at the canopy level is important on the study of theory and practice of high efficiency and water-saving agriculture. We simultaneous made instantaneous CO2 and H2O exchange rate, and instantaneous water use efficiency measurement at both leaf and canopy level in a rain-fed cropping system with spring corn during filling stage by Li-6400 infrared gas analysis meter and eddy correlation system. The results showed that in arid area water stress was the mainly factor influencing the net photosynthesis rate and water use efficiency. At the diurnal course, when soil relative moisture was about 40% at 0-100 cm soil layer, the maximum of net photosynthetic rate at leaf level occurred at about 10:00 under soil water stress, and at about 12:00 at canopy level on sunny days, the maximum leaf photosynthetic rate reached 1.3 mgm-2s-1 , almost close to those of irrigation corn at similar latitude area, and the maximum canopy assimilation rate were 0.9 mgm-2s-1 , reached 54.5% of those of irrigation corn at similar latitude area during filling stage, respectively; The maximum values of instantaneous water use efficiency at leaf and canopy level were 0.16 g (CO2)/ g (H2O) and 0.06 g (CO2)/ g (H2O), and ranged between 0.0055g (CO2)/ g (H2O) and 0.0123 g (CO2)/ g (H2O), 0.0113 g (CO2)/ g (H2O) and 0.0197 g (CO2)/ g (H2O) around noon, respectively. Instantaneous net photosynthetic rate and water use efficiency at leaf level were higher than those at canopy level after 10:00.

Abstract: Different vegetation patterns have difference influenced on the soil nutrients and the soil nutrient contents of different soil layers in the same vegetation patterns are also different in size. In this paper, we analyze the main soil nutrients of different soil layers in different vegetation patterns in Huanghuadianzi small watershed in Ao HanQI of Chifeng in China. The result shows that in different vegetation patterns, the secondary forest of natural bush have an obvious effect on the nutrient and concentration of organic; in the artificial forest, mingled forest has a better improving effect on soil than the pure forest and natural grassland has the smallest effect; in the same vegetation patterns, organic, total nitrogen present an overall reduction trend with the deepening of soil layer accept 40-60cm soil layers. The analysis result of this paper can provide a theoretical basis for further researching the dynamic nutrient change, tree variety optimization arrangement and regional land use planning in forest grass zone.

Abstract: As the Chinese urbanization and industrialization procedure fasted, the farmer’s diversification level eventually arises. In the meanwhile, serious water loss, soil erosion and soil fertility decline sharpen the man-land contradiction. Therefore, the land sustainable use refers to agricultural health development and Chinese food safety. The econometric tool is used to analyze the effects factors of land use patterns, such as land abandon and extensive use, tree crop and perennial crop planting, seasonal crop planting, keeping irrigation and drainage canal unobstructed, the rate of applying farmyard manure, and building methane tank, etc. It is concluded that the level of farmer’s diversification has dual effects, which are helpful to overcome capital constrain as well as decreasing the motive for investing on conservation of water and soil since diversification results in peasant household reducing dependence on agriculture.

Abstract: The objective of this research was to develop and demonstrate native grass sod for sediment control from disturbed lands associated with California highways. The research evaluated native grass species for inclusion in sod and evaluated the sod at a California highway field site. Seed mixes, including rhizomatous and bunchgrass species, were evaluated in a greenhouse setting for six California ecoregions. Growth and sod development potential of each seed mix for each ecoregion were evaluated. Seed mixes for three California ecoregions were further evaluated with a reinforcement material, and for establishment and weed suppression. Establishment and weed suppression of select ecoregion seed mixes and reinforcement materials were evaluated. Results indicated that multispecies sod has potential for use in revegetation of disturbed lands associated with highways.
