Abstract: Pangjiagou gold polymetallic deposit is located in bending parts of the north east direction of the Yanshan arc structural belt in Hebei province, which has a good regional metallogenic background. According to the collection of samples and tests of eight elements for the samples of the mining area, we studied the geochemical anomaly characteristics of the soil secondary halos of the ore deposit. By means of researching on geochemical characteristics of the ore deposit, it worked out that the ore deposit possesses the characteristics of multiphase ore-forming hydrothermal activity, which is divided into the Sb-Zn mineralization period and Cu-Au mineralization period. The important prospecting of the ore deposits in the area consist of the surface oxidation, the wall rock alteration and the geochemical characteristics.

Abstract: To determine the hydrocarbon - generating characteristics of Shuangyang Formation in Well Chang 27.We selected dark mudstone in Shuangyang Formation to launch Rock-Eval (open system) thermal simulation. Through thermal simulation data to demarcate a kinetic model,the Shuangyang Stratum mudstone samples reveal the gas intensity is mainly distributed in (210~230) kJ/mol),the average activation energy is 223kJ/mol. The hydrocarbon - generating characteristics of Shuangyang Formation in Well Chang 27 whose hydrocarbon generation stage mainly in the period (37~24) Ma, corresponding the late period of the Yongji Formation deposition to the late period of the Qijia Formation deposition. In Chang 27 Well area,the average generating strength of gas in Shuangyang Formation is (21~37×108) m3·km2. The hydrocarbon generation stage of Shuangyang Formation in Chang 27 Well area is mainly in (37~24) Ma, corresponding to the late deposition period of the Yongji Formation and Qijia Formation. Both the shorter periods of hydrocarbon generation and late hydrocarbon generation period made great contributions to accumulation, in which Shuang_1 formation played a bigger role.

Abstract: Geochemical elements combination anomaly is one of three basic theories in the mineral resources prediction, considering the autocorrelation and structure of elements spatial distribution, comprehensive spatial structure simplified for Factor analysis and spatial variation metric thought for Universal Kriging, mixing together two methods constructs the so-called Factor-Universal Kriging model, for combination anomaly analysis of regional geochemical data. This article emphatically introduces the principle and application of the model.

Abstract: Reservoir plane features of Lishui depression in East China Sea Basin is analyzed with multiattribute analysis. Through the production of fine synthetic seismograms, the research area is analyzed by seismic attribute. On the basis of the calibration of synthetic seismograms and interpretation of horizon, accurate corresponding relation between the seismic reflection and geological horizon is established. By means of multiple attribute extraction technology, relatively independent attributes related to oil and gas are selected, and afterwards the analysis of the petrophysical characteristics and the optimization of the seismic attribute are achieved. Finally, through the seismic attributes analysis technology and the horizon slice technology, and seismic inversion is conducted, the favorable areas of oil accumulation are predicted.

Abstract: In Liaozhong Depression, five types of sublacustrine fans are developed in the relative lowstand systems tracts of the fourth-order sequence in Dongying Formation. In drilling cores, typical turbidites characteristics exist including bedding structures such as slump deformation structure, parallel bedding, grading laminations and multi-stage scoured basal surfaces. They also can be recognized in well logs with distinctive low gamma-ray and high-resistivity stacking patterns. Logging curves usually display serrated bell shape, cylinder shape and funnel shape respectively. On seismic reflection profiles, sublacustrine fan typically shows lateral downlap on its external geometry and continuous or discontinuous “vermicular” reflection characteristics in its inner seismic reflection texture. According to the calibration results of drilling data, continuous seismic reflection profiles are interpreted to be mud-rich deposits with cohesive, soft sediment-deformation. Discontinuous seismic reflections with lateral migration and apparent incised valleys are interpreted to be sand-rich deposits which probably host the most potential litho-stratigraphic traps.

Abstract: In Yinchanggou lead-zinc mining area, Ningnan county, Sichuan province, there are many cherts in Dengying formation of upper Sinian series. By means of research on geological survey on field, petrology, major elements, trace elements and rare earth elements of the cherts, its proved that the cherts are chiefly composed of opal, jade and quartz, total amount of rare earth elements of the cherts for 1.36× 10-6, which is the light rare earth enrichment. For Fe/Ti is between 48.751and 194.44, (Fe+Mn)/Ti between 51.143 and 197.22, Al/(Al+Fe+Mn) between 0.03 per cent, the cherts is mainly formed by hydrothermal sedimentation.

Abstract: The ejective folds belt and the box like-trough-like folds belt in the area of boundary among Sichuan, Hubei and Hunan are separated by Qiyaoshan fault belt. Since early Middle Permian, the area has successively experienced the effects of paleo and morden pacific geodynamic system, resulting in multilevel and multi-phase structures. According to the geodynamic characteristics, the structural styles of study area are divided into compression style and rotation style, and subdivided into four first-order structure styles with analyzing their coal-controlling effects. Geodynamic characteristics, basement property and sliding layers are the main controlling factors of the structural deformation of coal-bearing stratum. The ejective fold is characteristized by narrow and steeper anticline with a vertical surface and broad syncline; coal-measures are developed mainly at the both wings of the anticline.

Abstract: Abnormal analysis of geochemical elements is a significant link in the mineral resources prediction. Element anomaly often directly or indirectly reflects the existence of mineralization anomaly. Due to the polyphyleticism of the metallogenic material and ore-forming process is characterized by multiple stages. there are two type of the metallogenic elements ,i.e., main ore-forming elements and associated elements. Therefore, it presents different assemblage characteristics in the spatial distribution, which also exist in the abnormal distribution. The spatial distribution mechanism of the combination elements are relate to geological conditions and the property of the elements. Based on the geochemical and transport theory, we explore the space quantitative anomaly seeking model. Then we proposed a new method - source tracing analysis for the inference of ore-caused anomaly from the combination anomaly, and the criteria of the proposed method is given. It can realize the intelligent search of the middle-large scale mineral resources prediction target effectively.

Abstract: Diagenetic facies are rock bodies that reflect the synthesis of diagenetic characteristics and determine the exploration of favorable reservoirs. A study of the diagnenetic facies of Paleocene sandstones in Lishui Sag (China) was undertaken to unravel the controls on reservoir quality. Samples were studied using petrography, thin sections, scanning electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction, and thus nine types of diagenetic facies were identified. Reservoir quality is mainly controlled by unstable grains dissolution facies and siderite cementation facies.

Abstract: Crystal is of people's favorite now. Many people had done lots of work to explore the coloration mechanism of crystals, and until now there is no complete conclusion. So, we studied the coloration mechanism of synthetic crystal and nature crystal by the Violet-Visible Spectroscopy and radio-luminescence. The results showed that coloration mechanism of color rock crystals (amethyst, citrine, smoky quartz and rose quartz) were color center coloration.
