Abstract: The frequency reliability.method of avoiding resonance is proposed by the mechanical dynamics, stochastic finite element method, the reliability theory in the paper. Furthermore, the frequency reliability sensitivity method is presented based on the frequency reliability research, and the frequency reliability-based robust method is obtained by the robust and the optimization technology on the basis of frequency reliability and sensitivity design, which help designers to establish acceptable parameter values and to determine the fluctuations of the parameters for the safe operations. Moreover a numerical example is provided, the frequency reliability robust numerical results are obtained, which are in agreement with practice and demonstrate the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed method.

Abstract: The increasing patients' requirements for high quality service are contradicted to the limited human resources in many famous hospitals of China. How to provide satisfactory services for patients is deeply concerned by more and more hospitals. This paper presents an integrated solution of digital signage application in the outpatient building of hospitals to improve patients' treatment efficiency. A survey was conducted on five Third-level grade-A hospitals in Beijing. Two forms were included in this survey: distribution of questionnaires to patients and site investigation. Then problems of digital signage application and treatment procedure were concluded through analysis of the results of the survey. Information requirements in four locations were analyzed and each of these four places was provided a solution to meet patients' needs. In order to share information provided by digital signage, Radio Frequency Identification technology was applied in this paper to facilitate patients' treatment. This new integrated solution of digital signage application in the outpatient building in hospitals emphasizes on patients needs, which make digital signage products can be fully utilized.

Abstract: To improve the speed of the GPS signal acquisition, a new design method based on the FFT is presented in the paper. It has many advantages over the existing acquisition in time-domain. The detailed design procedure of the new method is illustrated. By using it to acquire the real GPS signal, we can conclude the practicability of this new method. This design utilizes fewer resources in hardware design and achieves faster acquisition.

Abstract: Power flow calculation is the fundamental of cost analysis of transmission node. In traditional methods, the rationality of the cost analysis is of more concern than the accuracy of the power flow calculation’s results. This paper starts from the reactive data that being used for power flow calculation, expatiate that the method of present reactive power data measurement is inaccurate and explains why it is inaccurate. What reactive power would do to node cost analysis and why it could do so are analyzed considering cost analysis of transmission node. At last, an example of IEEE 9 is used. And it is proved that the fluctuation of reactive power will affect the power distribution of the whole network, as a result affect the generators’ sale of electricity income to loads greatly.

Abstract: Remote sensing provides explicit images covering Earth surface. Thus, remote sensing can be applied in water depth extraction. In this paper Minjiang Estuary has been chosen to be the study area for spectral analysis of correlation index between TM image and the water depth in charts. The result shows that in the whole single spectra TM3 provides the largest absolute correlation index and in other band ratios TM1/TM3 offers the larger absolute correlation index. Then TM3 and TM1/TM3 are applied in some models using linear, logarithmic, power exponential and exponential equations in pursuit of obtaining water depth inversion. Among these models, exponential model using TM3 is certified to be the best one.

Abstract: This paper presents an advanced multicast algorithm to the question of low multicast efficiency and poor game states synchronization in the SCRIBE algorithm based on P2P for MMOG. This algorithm constructs a multicast tree mainly considering node heterogeneity on bandwidth resource, computing resource and storage resource, moreover it approximately balances multicast tree by looking for a sub-tree which its high is lower. The experiment results show this algorithm can reduce message redundancy and multicast delay to a greater extent, and greatly improve game state synchronization.

Abstract: Crime rate in Malaysia is almost in awareness stage. The centre for Public Policy Studies Malaysia reports that the ratio of police to population is 3.6 officers to 1,000 citizens in Malaysia. This lack of manpower sources ratios alone are not a comprehensive afford of crime fighting capabilities. Thus, dealing with these circumstances, we present a comprehensive study to determine bandit behavior with Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT), Support vector machine (SVM) and k Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) Classifier. This system provided a good justification as a monitoring supplementary tool for the Malaysian police arm forced.

Abstract: The Rise of Crime in Malaysia reported that violent crimes comprised only 10% of reported crimes each year and the majority of crimes, 90%, were classified as property crimes. Thus, we proposed an Artificial Intelligent Techniques to determine the behaviour of the burglar with Independent Component Analysis (ICA), Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) and k Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) Classifier. This system provided a good justification as a monitoring supplementary tool for the Malaysian police arm forced.

Abstract: This paper introduces the characteristics of doubly-fed motor. The mathematical model in the two-phase synchronous rotating coordinate system d-q of doubly-fed motor is given, and a simulation model is constructed by Matlab S-function based on the model. Simulation of doubly-fed motor on stator unity power factor vector control is carried out through the model and simulating waveforms are given. The simulation results illustrate that the doubly-fed motor simulation model by S-function has the characteristics of simple, fast and high precision. It provides a convenient pathway for the research of doubly-fed speed regulation system.

Abstract: The paper deals with the comparison of selected optimization methods - Random Search, Hill Climbing, Tabu Search, Local Search, Downhill Simplex, Simulated Annealing, Differential Evolution and Evolution Strategy-used to search for the global optimum of the objective function specified for each simulation model. These optimization methods have to be modified in such a way that they are applicable for discrete event simulation optimization purposes. Three discrete event simulation models were built (using ARENA simulation software) which reflect real industrial systems. Then the optimization methods were tested on four testing functions. The evaluation method which uses information from the box plot characteristics was specified.
