Abstract: Rubber modified asphalt mixtures were prepared by reaction of asphalt by chemical mixing with waste rubber. The fundamental properties like homogeneity, thermal etc. of the modified asphalt mixture was investigated by using different techniques like SEM, TGA, DSC analyses etc. The flame retardancy of mixtures was investigated LOI tester. Results shows that antimony oxide is marginally better fire retardancy to asphalt blends than magnesium oxide Mg(OH)2

Abstract: The prediction of tire inflated shape is significant to tire structure design. In this paper, the mathematic-physical equations were established by using pressure function method and then the prediction of tire inflated shape was numerically accomplished. The obtained results agree well with the actual tire shapes, verifying the pressure function method. The present work gives a prediction method in designing futuristic tire shapes and could be applied to the mechanics analysis of inflatable tire and optimization design of tyres.

Abstract: The rheology of styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) polymer latex modified cement paste (SMCP) was studied in this paper. The effects of mineral admixtures (MAs) on the rheological performance of SMCP were studied using the Brookfield R/S Plus rheometer. The results indicate that the plastic viscosity of SMCP with different shear rate all decreases as the test time extends. As the shear rate increases, the plastic viscosity reduces significantly. The rheology of SMCP improves as the SBR latex content gradually increases. With increasing quantities of fly ash (FA), the yield stress of SMCP gradually increases and the plastic viscosity also increases to a certain extent. However, with a gradual increase in the granulated blast-furnace slag (GBFS) content, the yield stress and plastic viscosity of the SMCP decrease unobviously

Abstract: The effects of ointment category, amount of ointment RA-101 and foaming temperature on Vulcanized properties, physical and mechanical properties and the structure of cell of the SBR were investigated. Foaming SBR was made up by machinery and observed by stereoscopic microscope. The results suggested that ointment can make the cell structure distribute more balance and the effects of RA-101 is better than AN; When the amount of RA-101 was 10, the foaming temperature was 175°C, the physical and mechanical properties was better, and cell structure was more balance and surface of rubber was smooth.

Abstract: PP-3 meshing rotor has been analyzed in strength using the finite element method. The changes of the strain, stress and displacement have been represented by the visual picture, so whether the designed rotor is met the intended designing requirements or not will be known. At the same time, optimization designing is conducted further to the rotor through the analysis of the structure.

Abstract: The safety of the tank in duty is an important problem in engineering. Acoustic Emission testing is a dynamic online detection technology for non-destructive testing, which can provide continuous on-line status monitoring for equipments and give early damage warning. In the tank loading process, the sensors can detect the signals of the tank based on the principle of Acoustic Emission and determine the defect location. With this technology, we can monitor and evaluate the tank's safety in production.

Abstract: The spooling tension of the automatic winder is the critical factor influencing on the quality of the finished textile. The satisfying creel package depends on the constant spooling tension. However, the complex spooling tension is subjected to many factors, such as the unwinding tension, additional tension and yarn guide tension. In this paper, the composition of the spooling tension was studied theoretically and the main factors giving rise to the tension fluctuations were obtained. The gained results could be applied to controlling the tension fluctuations of the winder.

Abstract: In this paper, the robot vision systems are studied. Through the analysis of the visual tracking process, this paper classifies and introduces several commonly track. The features affecting the quality of target tracking, such as block, rotation, translation deformation and others, are analyzed and discussed. At last, some further directions of target tracking algorithm are also shortly addressed.
