Abstract: According to the working principle and structural characteristics of cylinder mechanism, the simplified model is built by the Pro/E software. Then we carry on the modal analysis for cylinder mechanism combined with ANSYS Workbench [1], and obtain the natural frequency and mode shapes of all steps. It provides the basis for optimization design and safety evaluation of cylinder mechanism. Finally, we study the influence of bearing stiffness on the critical speed, which provides the basis for the research of high-speed cylinder.

Abstract: This article describes a new project PDM change program to solve certain aspects of reinvent the wheel phenomenon caused irreversible in the past, and change the node at strengthening the audit efforts. This formed a set of strict and efficient management processes, that make the PDM’s applications more standardized, humane and reasonable.

Abstract: In order to simulate the adaptability and the fluctuation resistance ability of simulation inspection device and hanging ladder on ground, simulation inspection device and multi-grade centroid adjusting mechanism are designed in this paper. In the process of centroid adjusting, modification of the centroid position is transformed by means of mathematical model into a certain centroid adjusting mechanism, which is relative to displacement of Y Axis in calculating coordinate system and angle alternation between the adjustable centroid lever and the main rocker. The results show that the calculation is in good agreement with the analysis.

Abstract: This paper has introduced the structure of elongational pneumatic artificial muscle, analyzed axial mechanics characteristics of elongation artificial muscle, established the axial mechanics model, verified the credibility of the model through the experiment.

Abstract: A template matching method based on a vision system is proposed to get the location of terminal blocks. Gaussian pyramid decomposition is used to get the source image and template image samples, which will reduce the matching time and thus fulfill the requirement of real time application. The positioning screws used as mark points can be obtained by binarization, erosion, and dilation, and then the location of them can be worked out by the centre-of-gravity method. Finally, the location and the rotation angle of terminal blocks can be obtained with least square method. Experimental results show that this method is convenient to be operated with high recognition rate and efficiency.

Abstract: Jacket is the fundamental structure of offshore platform, supporting the deck. It is a space frame truss consisting of hollow legs (pipes) and horizontal and vertical rods used to connect legs. Traditionally, damages of jacket must be detected by diving into various depth which would costs a lot. In this article, ANSYS was used to simulate the identification of damage locations. Element Parametric finite-element models which demonstrated several common damages such as corrosion and bending by changing physical and geometric parameters were analysed. It was found that analysis of node vibration data far from the damage location could identify the damage location with ANSYS design optimization.

Abstract: Because Tire not only impact on the handling stability of vehicle but also impact on the ride comfort, it is more practical significant that tire vertical stiffness parameters on handling stability and ride of vehicle impact is considered synthetically than considering handling stability and ride singly. In this paper, full vehicle model was built on the basis of ADAMS/Car. The vertical stiffness of tire was only changed and other parameters remain unchanged, then full vehicle analysis was carried out to get the simulation curves. The impact of the vertical stiffness of tires on the handling and stability and ride comfort was obtained from the curves of simulation. The tires of optimized vertical stiffness can be obtained from the comparison of simulation results. Analytical results can be conductive to designing and producing the tire.

Abstract: The incremental digital PID technology and pressure regulating technology are adopted for this thermostat. The results show that it can be better stabilize the temperature and can control the residuals between ±1 degrees Celsius. The experiment in transformation between solid and liquid of ice is designed on this basis. By changing the temperature and specific area, the law about melting time and rate between temperature and specific area is discussed and the proper empirical equations are obtained by using the MATLAB. Finally the result is that temperature and specific area can influence the process with power function relationship.

Abstract: In order to obtain more excellent performance of composite coating, a layer of Ni-P alloy was plated firstly, then Ni-P-PTFE composite coatings was plated. If plating time ratio of electroless plating Ni-P alloy and Ni-P-PTFE composite plating was properlly controlled, performance of pure Ni-P-PTFE composite coating could be improved. The study have shown that the total plating time is 2 hours, and the plating time ratio is 1:1, and good bonding strength with the substrate, right hardness, low friction coefficient, good corrosion resistance of Ni-P /Ni-P-PTFE composite coatings have been obtained.

Abstract: Solid models of the involute gear, the gear with meshed medium belt and the medium belt were built with the PROE software. Then the steady-sate temperature field of the solid model was analyzed with ANSYS software. The result showed that the body temperature distribution on the tooth face was not effected by the medium belt. Different duty parameters were selected to analyze the highest temperature of the medium belt. So theory basis for choose of the medium belt and the duty parameters was provided.
