The phase structure of the TiO2 thin films was determined by X-ray diffraction employing a Philips-PW-1820 diffractometer equipped with a Cu-Ka radiation(λ=1.5418 A), 0.02o step, 1 s exposure.
It can be seen that the structure of the thin films exhibits only short-range order, and it is an amorphous TiO2 layer.

The morphologies of carbon fibers were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM, JEOL JSM-6700F), and the crystal structure of catalysts and carbon fibers was investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD, Rigaku D-MAX 2500/PC).
For example, since the 1st report of Y-shaped carbon nanotubes in 1991 [20], two main growth mechanisms have been attempted to explain the formation of Y-shaped structure: splitting mode [21] and welding mode [22, 23].

The use of magnetic lubricating oils implies the possibility of integrating equipment into a tribounit structure to create a quasi-stationary inhomogeneous magnetic field in a friction zone in order to regulate its triboparameters [11–13].
The electron work function is one of the physical quantities that reflect a friction surface energy state depending on its deformation and changes in a defect structure, changes in a chemical and phase composition, adsorption and desorption, surrounding gases and lubricant molecules and other processes [16].

This characterization tool is applied to the structure evolution where the area ratio of the disordered amorphous carbon (D-band) and graphitic sp2 carbon (G-band), is used as a measure of the size of sp2 rings clusters in a network of sp3 and sp2 bonded carbon [14].
The G band arises because of in-plane vibration of sp2, corresponding to the ordered structure and higher relative intensity of it as compared to D band.
Thurnauer, The Journal of Physical Chemistry B 107 (19) (2003) 4545-4549

Alternatively the CdSe particles can be availably produced as the CdSe: ZnS
core-shell structure simply by introducing the mixture of zinc stearate (0.5 ml) and sulfur powder in
the TBP solvent (1 ml) after the formation of CdSe for an elapse of 3 min time after injection of Se
source.
Those CdSe nanoparticles (< 10 nm) have the crystal structure in face-centered closely (fcc) packed zinc blende, which is identical to the CdSe bulk materials. 20 30 40 50 60 200 400 600 800 1000 1200 1400 1600 Intensity (a.u.) 2 25.36 41.94 50.09 Fig. 8 X-ray diffraction spectrum of CdSe nanoparticles.

These oxidizers allow oxidizing not only individual organic compounds of different chemical structure, but also their mixtures.
The basic components of KF are aliphatic HCs (of linear and branched structure), naphthene and aromatics (alkyl benzene, naphthalene and its homologous series) in the quantity of 27-61 wt%, 22-67 wt%, and 6-27 wt%, respectively.

Generally, ILs contain an ample organic cation plus an inorganic or an organic anion and they are developed in very asymmetric structures.
