The structures and performances of pre-intercalated and intercalated α-ZrP were confirmed by a combination of techniques.
Physical structure of modified α-ZrP.
XRD is a common method to analyze the intercalated structure of layered compounds.
This suggests that 1,2-epoxypropane had intercalated into the layer structure of the pristine α-ZrP thereby enlarging the interlayer spacing.

A highly ordered mesoporous silica with pore sizes of 6 nm was used as a matrix for nanoparticles incorporated by wet chemistry methods described in detail in [6] and the references given.
They are observed at exactly the same energy, despite the two samples having different crystal structures and dimensions.
We speculate that this PL enhancement is of the same origin as that observed previously for GaN epilayers with a granular micro-structure by the authors.
For undoped layers, potential fluctuations are fairly large and effectively reflect all details of the micro-structures of the samples.

It was further observed that samples that have higher Cr content possessed finer grains with martensitic structure.
The wear process is generally evaluated by changes in the structures and properties of materials in high temperature environments.
As filler metal is diluted by mixing of base metal the chemistry of the surfaced layer is affected.
The optical micrographs for the specimens are shown in figure 3 below, showing the fusion zone and the grain structure of the coatings.
Uniform distribution of carbides with fine grain structures can be observed in the micrographs. 4.

The results showed that the chemical structure of the composite fiber was the same as that of cellulose, but the aggregate structure became amorphous, which resulted in deceased thermal stability.
The composite fibers had dense and solid structure without any cavity.
The chemical structure of the composite fibers was analyzed and characterized.

In addition, the link between the thermochemical history of the grown material and its structure and defects still needs further development and input of experimental data.

First, the creation of pores leads to the weakening of the structure.
Irregularly shaped clay platelets form a parallel oriented structure.
This later contributes to thickening the structure, making it more viscous.

XPS was used to study the surface chemistry of polyaniline-mixed cellulose ester (PANI-ME) composite membranes prepared by various chemical oxidative polymerization techniques such as insitu solution, vapour phase polymerizations and aniline polymerization using a two-compartment permeation cell.
The (carbon atom) labeled structures of CA and CN are shown in Fig.1.
Fig. 1, (a) Cellulose acetate and (b) cellulose nitrate structures.
Various phenomena such as ester hydrolysis and residual entrapment of acid in the bulk (swelling) and pores of ME membrane may be taking place in this case without damaging membrane structure significantly.
These oxidation states are determined by imine/amine ratio in the structure and vary from leucoemeraldine (y~1) to emeraldine (y~0.5) and finally to the highly oxidized pernigraniline (y~0) according to the following structure.

The structure can also decrease the magnitude of stress on the inner cylinder.
This paper discussed the necessity and the advantages of the prestressed cylinder structure after analyzing the loading features of the monolayer cylinder structure.
The improved structure which was a com- bination design with shrink-on technique, split block structure, strip intertwined method and autofrettage treatment was proposed and discussed.
Prestressed structure of multilayer shrink-on cylinder Multilayer shrink-on cylinder structure is one of the most effective methods to produce prestressing on thick-walled cylinder, which is the earliest process to prestress the cylinder structure.

This is because OCP has a similar structure to HA that stacks apatitic layers with hydrated layers alternatively [9].
Mathew et al. suggested that the non-stoichiometric OCP has excess hydrogen in the structure [12].
Another prominent feature of OCP if implanted is that the structure of OCP tends to convert to HA progressively [3,6].

The unique structure of CNTs explains their unusual electrical and mechanical properties: CNTs are conductors or semiconductors depending on the tube structure, they have the highest known Youngmodulus and yield strength, and they have other remarkable properties, too [2].
Therefore, like graphite and many other systems, CNTs have "benzenoid" structure.
The stability of benzenoids may be approximated by determining the Kekule´ structure count (K) [3] that is the number of ways the double bonds can be placed in the network consisting of hexagons.
Understanding the interplay between electronic structure and chemical reactivity is thus critical.
