Abstract: In order to make segmentation more robust and accurate in the underwater environment, a two-stage segmentation method is proposed in this paper. In preprocessing stage, a dual-band enhancing technique is used to preserve the target contour and at the same time eliminate the fake edges generated by the noises; in segmentation stage, edge-grouping method is chosen for its advantageous characteristics over noisy images. Experimental results show that the proposed method can get a better performance both in stability and accuracy.

Abstract: This article discusses some of the linear regression model from the modeling theory, focusing on the modeling method of selecting the optimal model, choose the best bandwidth criteria. Then, given some of the partial linear regression model from the estimates and the partial residual nuclear smooth estimates, and estimate the model using the partial residual in the unknown parameters and to estimate the unknown function. Finally, the establishment of the Shanghai Index and Shenzhen Component Index Partially linear regression model.

Abstract: With the development of hospital information technology, Informationization has been gradually applied into the departments of hospitals. Although the current information management of hemodialysis is better than manual operation, but it cannot meet the daily needs because of the particularity of each department. Aiming at this problem, I designed a system of hemodialysis intelligent management. The system can achieve the function of automatic placing stations by the designed scientific algorithm, sending automatic arrangement notifications by the SMS module and getting the information of inquiry and medical records automatically by the magnetic card module. After testing the system performs well, which greatly reduces the time-consuming and increases the efficiency of devices.

Abstract: Nanoparticles show a variety of size-dependent properties due to the dramatic changes in the ratio of surface area to volume. The characteristics of nanoparticles different from the bulk material make the properties of the powders composed of these nanoparticles attract more attention. The heat transfer in the powder composed of nanoparticles is experimentally investigated in this paper. The powder is wrapped up in the slender tube made of insulating material. One end of the slender tube filled with powder is maintained at low temperature and the other end is kept at room temperature. The temperature histories at two different locations in the slender tube are recorded using thermalcouples. The results show that the heat transfer depends on the bed porosity and the thermal conductivities of the solid and the gas. The pressure on the Al powders enhances the rate of heat transport due to the decrease of the bed porosity and a small fraction of gas.

Abstract: In this work, the precursors zinc nitrate hexahydrate and zinc chloride were used to synthesize zinc oxide (ZnO) nanocrystals, applying a simple solochemical technique. ZnO rod-like nanostructures were successfully obtained by chemical reaction between NaOH and zinc nitrate hexahydrate at 90 °C. The sample formed by chemical reaction between NaOH and zinc chloride at 90 °C showed the ZnO phase mixed with the Zn5(OH)8Cl2•H2O phase. Only after thermal treatment at 500 °C for 3 hours, the conversion of Zn5(OH)8Cl2•H2O in ZnO was achieved. The samples prepared with different precursors were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Rietveld analysis to the X-ray diffraction data indicated that ZnO nanocrystals obtained have hexagonal wurtzite structure and nanometric-sized crystallites.

Abstract: In this work, the correlation of mechanical and microstructure development of early-age concrete was studied through electrical resistivity measurement. The inner enhancement of hydration products other than evolution of pore structure was identified as a vital factor for microstructural development of early-age concrete, which embodies in the increase of tortuosity a and significantly contributes to the growth of mechanical properties. Finally, a correlation between compressive strength and two crucial microstructural parameters (effective porosity ϕeff and tortuosity a) was built for the three mixes of concrete studied in this paper.

Abstract: Based on the study of present theories of the shuttle-shaped column in Chinese traditional architecture as well as the research of traditional architectural craftsmanship in the Chaoshan area, the paper makes it clear that the shuttle-shaped column is shrunken at both ends and the shuttle-shaped column found in the Chaoshan area in South China represents a local design method of ancient Chinese traditional architecture. Through the analysis of examples and data, and also the interview with local architects, the paper explores the local design method of the shuttle-shaped column in the Chaoshan area.

Abstract: This paper is about the KF301/WS2 lubricating wear-resisting coating of diamond textured surface modification which is prepared by supersonic plasma spraying, laser remelting coating and surface micro moulding, and coating’s tribological characteristic is studied under room temperature. It indicates that the diamond texture has a certain influence on abrasion loss and friction factor of coating’s surface. In the initial stages, fiction coefficient of untextured surface is about 0.0138, while fiction coefficient of textured surface is about 0.0115, compared with the former, the latter is obviously better and decreases 17%; When wear time reaches to 1 hour, abrasion loss of untextured surface is 0.03mg, and which of diamond textured surface is about 0.018, compared with the former, the latter is obviously better and decreases 40%. Tribological characteristic of diamond textured surface is higher than untextured surface.

Abstract: Nowadays in many cases of product shape modification where no original design drawing is available, equipments like coordinate measuring machine and rapid prototyping machine are very often employed, together with modification software, to attain integrated technology for product shape modification in a relatively short period of time. This study conducts the measurement of the outer shape of existing complex model and puts it through different steps such as data points acquisition, surface filling, and surface fitting. As the collision testing of physical object is not available, CAE software ANSYS Workbench is therefore used for contact analysis to determine the area of stress concentration after the collision for consequent modification of the shape. Contact analyses before and after the modification are then compared. In the last step, the modified geometric shape is used by the rapid prototyping machine to produce a product prototype for the manufacturer to display. This modification procedure can be widely applied in car manufacturing industry, mobile phone industry, product form design related industry, and so on.

Abstract: In this study a methodology of computer aided conceptual design in product development based on ergonomics was put forward. When products concerned with people are designed, ergonomics should be taken into account. The digital human model was used to decide the layout of design scheme. Ergonomics features were extracted in workplace analysis. With the aid of software Pro/Engineer, the whole human and machine virtual environment were built. A case of the modeling and size specification of the excavator cab for different drivers was given as the example to show the whole design process. The results shows that the development of ergonomics, computer aided concept design and anthropometry can help the designers to improve product development.
