Abstract: According to the problem that chalks will create dust, coming up with the idea of electronic blackboard erasers. When wool felt wiping off the writing, micro-motor drives fan to rotate. It eliminates air and form a great pressure to outside, dirt and dust are drawn into the machine by suction. Through filtering, dusts will be collected into a special dust collector. After testing, more than 95% of dusts can be drawn into electronic blackboard eraser. It has a powerful ability to remove dusts.

Abstract: A mathematical model of operation on air compressors is set up in order to improve the efficiency of air compressors. Parameter of Compressor is optimized by an Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) Particle approach. Volume and its weight of the new compressor are little, and its efficiency is high. An Ant Colony Optimization embed BLDCM module which optimizating the air compressor was put forward. Optimizated target of an Ant Colony Optimization is the efficiency of BLDCM. Optimizated variables are the diameter of low pressure cylinder, the diameter of high pressure cylinder, the journey of low pressure piston, the journey of high pressure piston and the rotate speed of BLDCM. Simulated result shows that the efficiency of BLDCM is more than that before optimizating. The test is done. The result shows that the specifc Power of air compressor is much less than before optimizating on 2.5Mpa. The result also shows that an Ant Colony Optimization which optimizating the air compressor is availability and practicality.

Abstract: Shape grammar has been used widely to analyze and generate designs by its computation and generation ability. In shape computation, shape segmentation is very crucial for choosing constituents and the change of the constituents always causes the change of the shape rules totally. However previous research on shape segmentation cannot provide a reliable method to segment the shape into constituents when calculating with shape. In this study, we propose a culture related approach that can help designer deciding the constituent in shape segmentation. We investigate cultural considerations that embedded in the artifact and explore how these cultural considerations can help determining the constituent and the way to segment the shape. A case study is conducted to demonstrate how the cultural considerations can be used to provide cultural hints to choose the constituents in shape segmentation.

Abstract: The methods of QC have significant effects on SMEs’ product quality and may influence the development of the majority of SMEs. In recent years, the principal problems concerning QC for SMEs are that the methods are inefficient and in low degree of application, the workers are not rigorous enough toward self-checking or cross-checking etc. These cause many problems such as the enhanced randomness of product quality problem and the increased working load of quality inspectors, and finally lead to the decrease of enterprise’s quality assurance ability. After analyzing the main problems in SMEs’ QC and their causal factors, the standard method of QC is discussed. Measures such as providing technology support, clarifying responsibilities, establishing the rapid feedback system and improving the visual management of QC are proposed to improve the low application efficiency of QC methods adopted in SMEs and increase the QC effect on the whole process of production.

Abstract: Business processes existed in every stage of the product life cycle. A lot of knowledge resources were carried in the business processes. The main purpose of business process modeling was to manage knowledge resources. It laid the foundations for the allocation of knowledge resources. To solve the problems of uncertainty and complexity of the management of knowledge resources, this paper studied the modeling form of knowledge resource allocation oriented business process and discussed the integration mode of knowledge resource and the business process. After the modeling process, the business process models were described from business logic relation, scope, time, cost, standard, material resources, tool and human resource. The relating knowledge resource was also determined during the modeling process, which would be used for the allocation of knowledge resources.

Abstract: Based upon synchronized loading and unloading containers method, a multi-objective optimization model was established. Minimizing the weighing vehicle transporting time and quay-crane(QC) handling time is taken as the objective. When the container ship reached the terminal, loading and unloading work was beginning. The optimal operational sequence of hatches in a bay was obtained by optimized computing, as well as the shortest handling time of vehicle and quay-crane. By numerical simulation, the efficiency is improved 22.62%~31.47%; the average rate of increase is 27.01%. The results illustrate the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed synchronized loading and unloading containers method by comparing with the traditional operations method.

Abstract: Surgery scheduling under upstream and downstream resource constraints was described as a three-stage multi-resource constrained flexible flow-shop scheduling problem in this study and an optimization approach based on ant colony algorithm was proposed for obtaining an optimal surgery schedule with respect to minimizing the makespan. A resource selection rule and strategy of overtime judging and adjusting was designed to allocate the resources reasonably and to make the scheduling results closer to reality. Compared to actual scheduling, the computerized result shows that the improved ant colony algorithm proposed in this paper achieved good results in shortening total time and allocating resources for surgery scheduling.

Abstract: Knowledge cannot be promptly shared is the main problem in current ship design processes. Knowledge sharing depended on complete expression of the product information. Therefore, the project management tool—design structure matrix was applied in ship design. Three domains of design structure matrixes including products, tasks and people were built; three domain mapping matrixes which contain each two of the three fields were built too; finally the multiple-domain matrix including these three domains were built. The models established the theory basis for the development of collaborative design prototype system.

Abstract: For industry cluster with multiple suppliers and multiple manufacturers, there exist a network of supply and demand relationship among suppliers and manufacturers. By using the balanced production load among suppliers as the main criteria for decision making, an order allocation model for supply chain with multi-suppliers vs. multi-manufacturers based on production load equilibrium-based strategy is proposed in this paper. In the end of paper the discrete event system simulation is used to verify that the production load equilibrium-based strategy can enhance the supplier's responsiveness effectively,which further leads to a satisfied OTD of manufacturers and the optimization of the whole supply chain.
