Abstract: In this paper, the L-shape arm of Motorman-HP20 robot is light-weighted. Multi-body dynamic model of the robot with flexible parts is built to get the mechanical behaviors in the most critical condition. Then the forces of both ends of L-shape arm are obtained and applied to the FE model. Then the topology optimization method is applied to the FE model. Refer to the topological structure, the refined structure is given due to experience. The results show that the weight and maximum displacement of the new structure are 5.2Kg and 0.066 mm respectively, which are less than those of the original design at the same condition in this paper.

Abstract: The article investigates strategy of company's product design and development considering the whole lifespan of product and the development course of enterprise. It suggests enterprises of different nature, enterprises at different developing stage will adopt different mode strategies. It also announces close causality between development course of company and central technology and product.The result indicated in different developing stages such as company development period, crisis predicament period, lasting steadies period, improving by payback period, issues steadies secondary period, declining go and live period, enterprise should pursue different mode product tactics of research and development such as shrinking strategy, consolidating strategy, innovation keeping forging ahead strategy. Enterprise should break regular management mode so as to introduce different research and development mode to promote enterprise's competitiveness effectively.

Abstract: The article uses research ways of Enterprise localization and enterprise's development course to study the strategy of company's product design and development. It announces at different stages for development, different kinds of enterprises will adopt product design and development policies of different modes. It also announces close causality between development course of company and central technology and product. The result indicated enterprises in leading position in market, technology and brand adopt pioneer strategy type of product research and development. Those enterprises that are relied on the large-scale leading enterprise offering a complete set service adopt the passively duplicating type tactic of product research and development. Some enterprises with part of advantage in technology, market, management or brand adopt following up strategy of product research and development. The enterprises with relative advantage position adopt the strategy of technology taking optimizing services as centre in product research and development in fields of brand culture and market service.

Abstract: This paper adopts methods of longitudinal comparison, classification research, expand competition field and verify to research for role of mature user in product design and symbol. It found that multiple levels of demand which mature user proposed would strengthen function quality and kinds of products services. Common function of mature user and enterprise would make enterprises be in advantage over competition status in market expansion process. Product shape symbolizes their inner special function, also symbolizes the type of person who use it. Product symbol system can be independent of material base to form its own unique spiritual value. The results show that mature user, designer and bystander can jointly established vulgarly product specific symbol meaning. Product symbol function has three characteristics as qualitative, openness and systematic. Correct assessment to product economic characteristic with high additional value of symbol can effectively avoid risk and fraud, and make social and economic returning benefits.

Abstract: This paper adopts methods of longitudinal comparison, classification research, expand competition field to research for design method of product function analysis and combination based on user research. It found initiative combination of product function and technique could share technology platform and spare module organization to form different varieties of product in functional detail, market orientation, and functional emphasis, avoid to carrying out fierce competition with competitor in narrow market area. It is benefit for company pursuing different strategy. R&D team should maintain validity and direction of design, analysis, and manufacturing work. High efficient pursuing situation from competitor, sale situation from user market would increase urgency and psychological pressure of R&D team and manufacturer, thus improve efficiency of research and development. The results show that fundamental goal of R&d team carries on product function analysis is tightly grasp functional use essence of future products to allocate various of resources to achieve product function index, satisfy user demand by best way.

Abstract: The requirements of modern industrial mechanical equipment not only stay in the realization of its basic functions, but pay more attention to issues of the humanized design involved in product design. During the design process of mechanical equipment, the pursuit of rational functions, the full consideration to human needs, the formation of efficient human-machine communication, and the improving of the product quality are the significances of the humanized design. Therefore, the studying of the humanized design of mechanical equipment not only has its theoretical significance, but also has very important practical significance. Abstract: At present, it is inconvenient for use due to huge volume of common inflatable rubber fender. This paper introduces a design of cylindrical rubber sealing cushion which can be applied to various occasions to protect ships, dock and pier facilities. The key of air cushion technique is that it can produce a large displacement to buffer deformation and to reduce the exchange of energy. It plays a role to increase the time of collision, and then reduces the force of collision. Meanwhile, it also has good ability to adapt the tilted contact and it can float on the water surface, etc. This paper makes a feasibility analysis and strength calculation by doing theoretical calculation, and then making a force-test simulation by using ANSYS software, and do some structure optimal design according to the results of finite element analysis.

Abstract: This paper analyzed the heterogeneous product information for industrial cluster. It plays an important role in collaboration of enterprise and product information inquires in industrial cluster. The paper presented globe product data model based on PLIB standard. The globe classification structure and properties definition were given as the globe ontology for industrial cluster. The product class was expressed by general model class and function model class. The class is defined with the properties. The class and properties for injection machine were described as an example. According to the globe product data model, the integration framework can make the integration of heterogeneous product information and provide the unique inquire interface for the end customer. The integration framework was presented and analyzed.

Abstract: Computer-aided conceptual design of mechatronic products is becoming more and more important since it offers much convenience in design scheme retrieval and enhances the utilization of existing designs. One of the key technologies for computer-aided conceptual design is an efficient search algorithm for retrieving existing designs. As such, it’s necessary to find a feasible way to select the most suitable design out of a number of candidates for further development. By applying behavioral modeling method for representation of conceptual design, this paper proposes a node matching algorithm for searching behavioral model, together with a model similarity evaluation method. Based on these methods, a framework for computer-aided conceptual design is subsequently proposed. Finally, a case study is presented to illustrate the applicability of the proposed methodologies.

Abstract: Based on the requirements of that the finger can move in parallel, and the displacement of the finger can be detected, the micro-gripper driven by piezoelectric actuator is designed based on the displacement amplification structure with the flexure hinge. The static analysis, the modal analysis, the harmonic response analysis and the transient response analysis of the micro-gripper are carried out by using the finite element analysis software ANSYS. The results of the finite element analysis show that the finger is fully able to move in parallel, and can detect the displacement of the finger; the maximum displacement of the finger is about 101 μm, the first natural frequency is about 130 Hz; the finger tip displacement under the 1 μm step input is about 20 μm, the fingertip vibration is about ±2 μm.
