Abstract: Horizontal manufacturing collaborative alliance is a dispersed enterprise community consisting of several enterprises which produce the same kind of products. To correctly assign order among member companies of horizontal manufacturing collaborative alliance is one of the most important ways to improve the agility and competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises. For the order allocation problem, a multi-objective optimization model is developed to minimize the comprehensive cost and balance the production loads among the selected manufacturing enterprises. Non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II) is applied to solve the optimization functions. The optimal solution set of Pareto is obtained. The simulation results indicate that the proposed model and algorithm is able to obtain satisfactory solutions.

Abstract: Thickness Nonliner Blank (TNLB) is forming by flexible rolling system and is superior to Tailor Rolled Blank(TRB),the thickness of TNLB belongs to nonperiodic, it can be used to make automobile panels for reducing material and lower light-weight. The rolling process model of TNLB was presented and rolling simulation model of TNLB was built by Deform, the better match for the rolling speed and roll vertical speed is the key to get the target curve, the comparison between simulation curve and target profile curve was discussed the influence of rolling by different parameters such angular velocity and vertical velocity aimming at decreased Zone. the factors of each sections during rolling were analyzed. This research results show that these will put forward references for TNLB rolling and widen the connotations of TRB.

Abstract: The efficient surgical scheduling of the operating theatre plays a significant role in hospital’s income and cost. Currently surgical scheduling only considered the surgery process in operating room and ignored other stages which should not be left out in real situations. The surgical scheduling problem is regarded as the hybrid flow-shop scheduling problem in this study. Each elective surgery which need local anesthesia has to go through a two-stage surgery procedure. Beds and operating rooms are represented as parallel machines. A mathematical model for such surgical scheduling problem is proposed and solved by LINGO. A case study with its optimal solution is also presented to verify the model.

Abstract: Computer Aided Assembly Process Planning is a method of automatically generating assembly process files with computer. This paper describes an integrated assembly process files generation system for virtual assembly. The objectives of this study are to integrate assembly planning of a product with its CAD model, generate a correct and practical assembly sequence and establish a software system to generate the assembly process files. The method of generating assembly process charts for virtual assmbly is researched. The system framework of generating assembly process charts is been set up. The assembly model information that needed for the assembly process charts generation is analyzed. The expression method of assembly sequence and arithmetic of generating assembly process charts is put forward. A speed reducer is used as an example to check the system.

Abstract: In this paper, a quantitive safety analysis method was proposed to deal with decision making problems of ship towing system design. The method consisted of three steps: (i) mission phases and hazards identification; (ii) subjective assessment of mission phases and hazardous events; (iii) safety assessment and decision making. Subjective probabilities, which were derived with fuzzy fault tree analysis, were used for overcoming the difficulty of obtaining relevant historical data in salvage engineering, and entropy method was utilized to revise the hazardous events’ subjective weights. Three typical mission phases and their hazardous events were researched throughly in ship towing system, and then a safety analysis and decision making model was introduced subsequently. A case was studied to demonstrate the application of the model, and the results show that human factors (e.g. choices of tugs and towing rigs, towing watching, and towing operating) are vital for system safety, and should be paid more attention to in decision making of ship towing system design.

Abstract: Chinese traditional color culture (CTCC) is an essential foundation of building the human color cultural discipline, also is an important direction of educational reform for perfectly training design talents. Based on interdisciplinary methods, firstly, the paper uses Game theory to analyze the necessity of the knowledge management and cultural innovation for CTCC. Secondly, the paper utilizes the management principles to carry on knowledge management of CTCC, and explains culture innovative ways for it. Finally, we discuss methods of application CTCC and color education reform. Through cultural innovation research of CTCC and the introduction of it into universities design education, it can not only surmount the malpractice of that just has a single modern chromatics without any element of national color culture, but also greatly improve the situation of that the designer has not any principles to abide by.

Abstract: Chinese traditional five-color aesthetic is developed for thousands of years, but it is still not obsolete. It is regarded as an important classical of Chinese civilization, and is one cultural system lacking the modern scientific methods management as well. Based on the sustainable development concept, firstly, this paper analyzes the feasibility of the introduction of the management methods to manage traditional five-colors aesthetic. Secondly, we specifically discuss how to use the management principles to manage it. Finally, we carry on the cultural innovation of the traditional Chinese five-color aesthetic. For example, the theory of mathematical language conversion, digital color label and computer graphics showing, and so on are discussed. The research of the knowledge management and culture of innovation not only can be used for social creative design and universities design education, but also can be shared with the world.
