Abstract: This paper presents an novel vision based inspector with light to inspect the liquid in bottle. The inspector is designed to capture sequence images of the rotating liquid in the bottle. And the impurities in liquid are inspected by dynamic analysis. The difference method for fusion images is put forward to detect the motion regions in sequence images. In order to detect motion regions precisely, this paper employs a novel segmentation algorithm base on unsupervised learning. This algorithm combines the fuzzy C-means method with fuzzy support vector machines, and can subdivide the image into the impurities and background efficiently. The experiments demonstrate the inspection precision of the liquid inspection system is about 96.4%.

Abstract: The data processing of cutting force is the key and basis to study various parameters of high-speed milling. To be able to read and process data quickly and accurately, especially for amounts of data lines, the researchers developed a data processing software (DPP--Data Processing Program) in high-speed milling with the use of advanced object-oriented C # language and Matlab software interface technology. After introducing the DDP, the paper also summarized and analyzed the application strategies, which can provide evidence for data processing under similar conditions.

Abstract: Along with the rapid development of computer and network technology, the current of digitization has become inevitable trend of global economic development, and digital city has gradually aroused people's attention in recent years. In the application of urban simulation, people can have an immersion omnibearing walkthrough with the method of dynamic interaction in a virtual 3D environment. Without ever leaving home, you can appreciate the scenery of a strange city. This paper has researched key technology of scene simulation on visual reality, and implementd the scene simulation system based on visual environment of Hunan Science and Technology University. With the practice and test, the constructed campus simulation system in the paper has operated smoothly, and users can achieve the visual walkthrough on campus.

Abstract: Within a distributed knowledge resources environment, the product design activities usually are participated by design entity, resource units and design knowledge resource register center. The appropriate design knowledge classification system is the basis of the product design under this environment. The functional design is an especially important phase for designing the innovational products. In the phase, the main problems are not technical problems but are socio-technical problems. The functional design, most often, requires not only the natural science knowledge, but also social science knowledge. The functional design is completed by many more design experts not only from psychology and other natural science, but also from many social science areas, which increases the difficulty and complexity of product design and design knowledge search within a distributed resources environment. On the basis of analyzing the modern product design, especially the features of functional design, this paper proposes an extended six-dimension design knowledge classification system which mainly extends the discipline, product and application process dimension. Finally, this paper makes brief introduction about the application of this classification system.

Abstract: In order to support novice designers for product innovative design, we presented a knowledge management system of product innovative design with an ontology model, which is based on the process of product innovative design and the principle of taxonomy. The system is used to collect, process, reuse and share the knowledge of product innovative design, to help novices to search and apply the relevant design cases, and to speed up the knowledge conversion process, so as to develop the design concepts faster and more efficiently. We invited novices to use the system, and according to the feedback to verify the availability of the system.

Abstract: This paper presents a kind of the platform configuration method of the wheel loader products based on the customers’ demands. This method first analyzes the customers’ demands for the wheel loaders and divides it into two major categories of the binding demand and selective demand, then performs the optional configuration for the modular product platform based on the customers’ binding demand, the similar matrix of the platform configuration of the wheel loaders is established and the similarity between the customers’ demand set and the product platforms is calculated to carry out the optimized configuration for the product platforms, finally an example of the product platform configuration of the wheel loaders is given.

Abstract: This paper presents the influence of leisure behavior and sitting posture to the design of home seat. With the help of questionnaire and interview, we explored the users' preferences of home leisure behaviors, their function requirements and usage of home leisure seats. Through research of the users’ sitting postures of different leisure behavior and comfort of different sitting posture, our study shows function requirements and sitting posture differences exist according to different favor of home leisure behaviors. Some suggestions are given for home leisure seat design, considering the differences of home leisure behaviors.

Abstract: Smart rice cooker’s interface becomes more complexity for its multi-function and some troubles are arisen with its poor user experience. To research users’ usability evaluation on the interface of smart rice cooker, a case study was conducted on user mental model. Some suggestions are given on how to improve the usability of the interface from the mental model map of the users’ evaluation elements and their relationship.

Abstract: By summing up the adverse consequences caused in the practice of the concept of “human-orientation”, it proposed the idea of “nature-orientation” is superior to “human-orientation”, and analyzed the necessity to apply the idea of “nature-orientation” in designs. Then it mainly studied on nature-oriented furniture design which included its connotation and basic design principles. And then it discussed in detail how to combine the basic elements of furniture design including materials, texture and color, shape, structure, and process to achieve nature-oriented furniture design, which can help to establish development mode of low carbon and environmental protection for furniture industry, as well as to provide a reference for the idea of “nature-orientation” applied in other fields.
