Abstract: This paper presents the error determination on the teeths flanks of the bevel gears with straight teething using the theoretical profile. It summarizes the state-of-the-art of the profile verification. A coordinate measuring machine, type MITUTOYO Crista Plus was used for realizing the measurements. The theoretical profile is built by theoretical equations to identify the errors. The error distribution is presented by overlapping the suitable surfaces. So the bevel gears with straight teething can be evaluated in terms of the profile tolerance.

Abstract: Based directly on the neural network weights from testing and evaluating the coatings on real vehicle equipment, by inputting the values of the EIS characteristic parameter received from the real vehicle testing, memorizing the neural network weights under guideless training, it provides a quick and convenient method to evaluate the protective performance of vehicle equipment coatings, and thus the quick testing of the corrosion severity of vehicle equipment can be achieved.

Abstract: This paper introduces a detection algorithm of flicker caused by interharmonics based on the voltage envelope extraction and analysis. Whether the interharmonic frequency is near the odd or the even harmonics, the envelopes show different characteristics. The envelope mean is calculated accordingly and the relationship between the envelope mean and the flicker signal is analyzed in detail. It concludes that the flicker frequency and amplitude can be obtained accurately through FFT of the envelope mean and amplitude correction. Simulation results verify the algorithm.

Abstract: This paper proposes a high-speed transmission error (TE) dynamic detection system based on NIOS-II and USB. The detection system is in the realization of data acquisition on a FPGA chip, and sends the collected data to specialized data transmission circuit by the chip NIOS-II CPU core, the data transmission circuit composed of USB2.0 main control chip and FIFO chip, which can realize the two-direction communication between data acquisition circuit and PC, so as to realize the TE detection of high-speed side.

Abstract: The transient effect of electromagnetic interference (EMI) produced by electronic equipments has been extensively studied. However, for the electric vehicles, speed changing also introduces considerable amount of interference. In this paper, we study the EMI influences, which include the interferences caused by the electronic switch and the vehicular engine, on the electric vehicular communications systems. The transmission quality of various standards is investigated, including FlexRay, and Control Area Network (CAN).

Abstract: Both Support Vector Machines (SVM) and Artificial Immune Systems (AIS) are by far effective on faults localization of analogue circuits for small samples. In this paper, both a selective SVM ensemble based on clustering Algorithm and a new AIS based on real-valued NS (RNS) algorithm are applied to the fault diagnosis and their effects are evaluated. The fault diagnosis experiments on a continuous-time state-variable filter circuit show that the fault diagnosis method based the AIS can obtain high fault localization rate of 95% when only one group samples acted as the training samples and the other method can obtain fault localization rate of 85% when 400 group samples acted as the training samples. So, AIS is a more effective method to fault diagnosis with small samples.

Abstract: t gives a new type of Temperature Measuring System equipped with Samsung S3C2410. Chip DS18B20 is responsible for collecting temperature data, which was transmitted to the chip of S3C2410 in the way of digital signal. The hardware composition and software design of the system were discussed in detail. The experimental results indicate that the design improves the system stability and reliability.

Abstract: As the fast development of electronic technology, RFID technology is widely used all over the world. Firstly, the design about a kind of reader antenna was proposed with detailed analysis about theory and structure of the antenna circuit which relied on the 13.56MHz radio frequency integrated chip THM3060.Then a primarily introduction of circuits for radio frequency transmission and reception of reader is given. After that some important antenna parameters were determined that satisfied antenna matching circuit. Finally, experiments showed that the designed antenna is with good performance and reader can work stably.

Abstract: Quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) is widely used in communication systems. The traditional QAM demodulation method was implemented in hardware. This paper proposes a demodulation algorithm using GPU. The GPU algorithm is easier to add new features than hardware implementation and reaches 57x speed up compared with the serial algorithm on CPU. It is shown that the QAM demodulation algorithm gained significant performance increase due to the natural parallism of the GPU, using Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA).

Abstract: A test system for geothermal parameters is designed with S3C2440, it is an embedded system which can friendly display the test values and geothermal parameters in real time. The test theory is based on heat balance principle. A heater produce heat to induce into the ground through U buried tube. When equilibrated, the heat from the heater is equal to the heat taken away by ground. The heat taken away by ground is measured by testing the temperatures of two ends of U buried tube and the water velocity flowing through tube; the real produced heat by heater is measured by testing the current and voltage of heater. The heat power can be changed by controlling solid-state relay with PWM. The driver programs in S3C2440 for the testing sensor of temperature, current, voltage, water flow and PWM are designed with Linux; the testing values are real displayed and can be saved which interface is designed with OSS QT4.
