Abstract: 3D digitalization is still a very expensive and tedious process to transfer shapes of real object into a digital computer form. New devices are becoming more effective and more precise, but their price declines very slowly. This article offers perspective into the problems of 3D digitalization using a sensing device of favorable price, namely Kinect a motion game controller. This alternative offers scans of components surfaces that are from the viewpoint of precision and quality comparable with much more expensive devices.

Abstract: A new type anti-surge water transporting vehicle is designed for safety and stability of the vehicle during the driving. In order to study the safety and stability of the water transporting tank, the impact force caused by sloshing of the water transporting vehicle during normal driving, climbing and braking is analyzed respectively; Finally, a simulation test on the vehicle along a road 7000km long is carried out. The results show that the water transporting vehicle is not damaged and overturned under various kinds of worse driving conditions, such as on the road and field road, etc., thus it can meet requirements for safety and stability when driving under all kinds of road conditions.

Abstract: The coating of the intermediate coating on the inner surface in narrow space is characterized by high solid, high density, sedimentation. LVMP process is qualified and adopted to spray this high solid coating. The designed pressure feed system is composed of a fluid system and a pneumatic system. The former is used to feed coatings into the spray gun, circulate coating and agitate coating, while the latter is used to actuate and control the fluid system and provide high pressure air as cylinder air, atomization air and pattern air. The experiments show that the robotic spraying system could satisfy the work requirements including good stabilization, no settling, ignorable pressure fluctuation and fine atomization in narrow space.

Abstract: The influence of roll angle on coating uniformity is analyzed by establishing the formula between the average film thickness and it. The functional relations of coating uniformity to yaw angle and roll angle are obtained by measuring the average film thickness under the diferrent angles. The minor changes of spray angle have little influence on coating uniformity, and the tracking error of robotic spray gun is very small, therefore it can be ignored when studying robotic trajectory planning. The alteration of spraying angle, spraying distance and moving speed of spray gun can lead to the change of coating thickness, so optimized combination of them can improve coating uniformity.

Abstract: According to the cutting theory of involute tooth profile, established an exact three-dimensional parametric model by UG. Used ABAQUS to crate finite element model for gear meshing. After simulated the meshing process, discussed the periodicity of the tooth surface contact stress. Based on the result of finite element analysis, made a comparison of the maximum contact stress between finite element solution and Hertz theoretical solution, analyzed the contact stress distribution on tooth width, and researched the effect of friction factor on contact stress. All that provided some theoretical basis for gear contact strength design.

Abstract: The mixed model elevator controller production line flexible optimization project is established. The production bottleneck has been deeply analyzed and illustrated by the Value Stream Mapping Tool. Value stream analysis of the elevation controller production line status including dividing production, determining take time and visualizing production and problem analysis are implemented. The logistic moving distance is reduced from 501.8 m to 311.7 meters, the Cycle time, manufacturing time, number of operator and working hours are significantly reduced by 12.4%, 16.1%, 20%, 18.79% and 81.15% respectively.

Abstract: With more extensive application of shaking ladles in producing ferroalloy, the investigation on the equipment and process of shaking ladles is reviewed and the motion of two-phase flow is analyzed. Some issues related to the use of shaking ladles, which need to be further explored, were pointed out to direct the design of large shaking ladles.

Abstract: In order to improve the calculation accuracy of tension distribution, a new method to calculate tension distribution for strip cold rolling is carried out. First, exit unit tension calculation model is developed by using variational calculus method. Then combined with divided element method, tension distribution and rolls deformation model are established, and the corresponding procedure is developed. Further, contact pressure between rolls and tension distribution of a single-stand reversing cold mill are calculated with the procedure. And it is proved that the results of the calculated data agreed well with the measured value. This verifies that the calculation method is reliable.

Abstract: A design method of carbon fiber composite flywheel, on the basis of the flywheel application background, is introduced in this paper. This method based on the stress distribution of multi-ring interference fit flywheel can quickly design the number of rings and the interference, on the premise that the storage requirement of flywheel energy storage system is met. Compared with the existing design method that is aimed at maximizing energy density and storage, the proposed method in this paper, simpler and faster, lays more emphasis on engineering applications.

Abstract: In this article, a new multiple competing failure models proposed, in which multiple degradation processes and random shocks are considered. The shocks have a significant impact on system reliability, and the system reliability under not considering the impact of shocks is much higher than the impact of shocks is considered. In addition, the influences of the correlation among different degradation processes are also considered in this article. We can find that the reliability with considering the dependent case is higher than the independent case reliability. Thus the dependence of the two degradation processes is non-negligible. A numerical example with reliability analysis and sensitivity analysis is discussed to illustrate the proposed the new model.
