Abstract: Combining the successful applications in AI, in this paper, an expert system is studied and designed for evaluating the safety of hydraulic metal structures, whose goal is compute the reliability of hydraulic metal structures. Applying the techniques of AI, a framework is made up for evaluating the safety of hydraulic metal structures. The framework of knowledge base system is designed and presented with the domain knowledge. Based on the theory of relational database, the conceptual and logical views of database system are designed and analysed. Additionally, method base system is designed. A practical example is given to illustrate the process of using this system. This system has features of practical and advanced and expand.

Abstract: This paper presents a supply chain collaboration service (SCCS) in SaaS paradigm to support inter-organization interaction between business partners. SaaS is very attractive to enterprises because it offers low cost and flexible on-demand IT solution. The paper presents an extensible service oriented architecture that can integrate business application as a service into SCCS. In order to improve the supply chain performance, it provides flexible support for information sharing between business partners. The SCCS prototype has been developed.

Abstract: Creative ideas are important not only for an enterprise but also for a country. The scheme for computer to produce creative ideas is given. There are two parts in the scheme. The first part is for computer to realize the creation skills, which will bring thousands or millions of candidate ideas. The second part is to optimize the candidate ideas with interactive evolutionary computation (IEC). When the sentences that IEC optimized are submitted to the user, his/her thought would be invoked, and new ideas would come to his/her brain. This scheme supports a new way for computer to help user produce creative ideas.

Abstract: The performance of biometric systems can be improved by combining multiple units through score level fusion. In this paper, different fusion rules based on match scores are comparatively studied for multi-unit fingerprint recognition. A novel fusion model for multi-unit system is presented first. Based on this model, we analyze the five common score fusion rules: sum, max, min, median and product. Further, we propose a new method: square. Note that the performance of these strategies can complement each other, we introduce the mixed rule: square-sum. We prove that square-sum rule outperforms square and sum rules. The experimental results show good performance of the proposed methods.

Abstract: In this paper, we analyze a secure and dynamic clustering protocol SecDEACH. Through analysis, we show that the protocol is vulnerable to the wormhole attack since it does not consider the verification of the neighbor nodes within its radio range. We give a wormhole attack to the protocol and propose an improved version which can keep the frame of the SecDEACH protocol and overcome the security shortages. Finally, we make an analysis of the improved protocol and conclude the paper.

Abstract: For the multisensor autoregressive moving average (ARMA) signals, based on the modern time series analysis method, a self-tuning information fusion Wiener smoother is presented when both model parameters and noise variances are unknown. The principle is that substituting the estimators of unknown parameters and noise variances into the corresponding optimal fusion Wiener smoother will yield a self-tuning fuser. Further, applying the dynamic error system analysis (DESA) method, it is rigorously proved that the self-tuning fused Wiener smoother converges to the optimal fused Wiener smoother in a realization, i.e. it has asymptotic optimality. A simulation example shows its effectiveness.

Abstract: Semantic data management is a key issue in PDM (product data management) system. Traditional PDM system is not suitable for complex semantic data management. Moreover, most of the PDM systems cannot provide efficient semantic search over database. In this paper, we present a data warehouse which adopts the object deputy model to store semantic product data. Most important of all, we can provide more convenient and efficient semantic search for users. The experiment results show that our approach is more feasible and efficient than the traditional one.

Abstract: With the continuous growth in the XML data, the ability to search in massive collections of XML data becomes important. In this paper, we present efficient techniques that are able to employ bloom-filtering to decrease computation complexity that is used to filter irrelevant XML paths. After filtering, a kind of semantic measure is used to compute similarity between the query and the relevant XML documents, which is used to rank retrieval results. Experiment results show that the retrieval prototype system based on bloom-filtering runs faster than ever under the almost same average precise.

Abstract: The high interpretability and the extraordinary evolvability of learning classifier system make it the optimal choice to build an adaptive intelligent system, and UCS is one of its branches, which is especially designed for the supervised learning tasks. However usually there is a huge amount of unlabeled data that are helpful for the increasing of its accuracy. Hence we use the EM algorithm in Semi-supervised learning as a reference, and proposed a Semi-Supervised Classifier system (SUCS) based on Bayes inference. The experiments we did using the UCI dataset showed that SUCS performed a much better accuracy than UCS by use of only a small number of labeled data and a large number of unlabeled data.

Abstract: Working principle of an uninterrupted shift transmission (UST) based on overrunning mechanism and its driveline dynamic model, as well as shift control strategy are studied. For shift quality optimization, the throttle control parameters are calculated based on simplex method and genetic algorithm. Using the control strategy and optimized parameters, simulation results show that jerks and clutch slip during shift are controlled well, satisfactory shift quality is obtained without power flow interruption.
