Abstract: The degree of satisfying the customer requirements was determined by the diversity of product function and form, in order to improve the satisfaction, the mapping relation between customer requirements and technical characteristics should be analyzed to construct configuration optimization model. This paper integrated triangular fuzzy number, BP network and GA to propose a method of constructing optimization model of product technical characteristics configuration corresponding to customer requirements, the model was established based on customer transaction data history. This method acquired the information of customer requirements and preference and that of purchased products’ function and form characteristic by analyzing and extracting customer transaction information, then applied BP network to express the mapping relations between customer requirements and product technical characteristics. The optimization model took the cost and time as constraint with the customer requirements as target, finally used genetic algorithm with MATLAB to solve. The electric bicycle was taken to illustrate the build process.

Abstract: Modular product development plays an important role in helping manufacturing companies provide product variety rapidly in achieving competitive advantages. The development of product options plays a significant role by providing a selecting list for customizing, and has a key impact on the development of modular products. A process for product options development has been developed to guide the activities of determining product options and their values. And mathematical models have been brought forward to support decision-makings within the proposed process. A prototype system based on this process and mathematical models has been developed and tested in a machine manufacture plant, with satisfactory results.

At the same time, this paper analyses characteristic of embedded TCP/IP protocol and present method for developing embedded TCP/IP protocol.

Abstract: Dynamic programming algorithm is classical strategy to solve the optimization problem. The distributing of enterprise resource is a multistage decision problem, having the characteristic of dynamic programming algorithm. We establish distribution of mathematical model of planning target, using dynamic programming principle and method to divide enterprise resource allocation stage reasonably, and then we use the recursion method to structure dynamic programming equation from the bottom up. Using VC++6.0 development platform is to compute the optimal decision-making sequence and maximum of profit. Dynamic programming makes optimum resource allocation for an enterprise, and it is high application value in resource allocation.

Abstract: This paper involves a study of signal priority strategies for bus operations using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology enabled devices. An actual suburban network of the Clementi area of Singapore, which including several signalized intersections, was used for microscopic traffic simulations conducted in this study. Based on the experimental results, the proposed system has the potential to improve public bus service level by reducing congestion of bus traffic flow through street intersections.

Abstract: The finite element analysis (FEM) of metal machining is a complex process. It is essential to exploit a system to construct a model of FEM so as to obtain simulation data more conveniently and rapidly. The key techniques of two-dimensional modeling in MSC.Marc software and the whole modeling procedure of metal orthogonal cutting process were presented. The rule based on the modeling process was also investigated. The system’s interface, designed using C++ Builder, can access data which includes the geometrical angles and dimensions of tool, the sizes of work, the relative position between tool and work, properties of tool and work, cutting conditions, etc.. The procedure file which can model in MSC.Marc environment automatically is generated by the program. The parametrical modeling of simulation is completed by the procedure file. Finally, case studies were performed to study the simulation model, interface and simulation.

Abstract: This paper introduces blanking, drawing and compound die of the cylindrical parts. The compound die applies the special structure to maintain a constant blank holder pressure, which is not increased by drawing. It reduces the processes and improves the efficiency of production.

Abstract: In order to improve the precision of the Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing Integrated System, the author considers the manufacturing error chain as a closed-loop. According to the feedback method of closed-loop error, the author applies the BP neural network into the error control of the Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing Integrated System to improve the product precision. And the error control method is applied in production.
