Abstract: Diversity gains are believed to improve the transmission reliability in fading mobile satellite channels. Considering that the traditional Space-Time Coding (STC) is not suitable for the cooperative mobile satellite communication, in this paper a new cooperative mobile satellite communication system is proposed based on the Dynamic Space-Time Coding (D-STC). The transmit energy of the propose scheme is saved by avoiding forwarding erroneous signals in cooperative users. Meanwhile, the system benefits from diversity gains and the transmission is robust. Finally, the analytical result is validated by numerical simulations.

Abstract: A method of PCA face verification based fuzzy membership is proposed. Constructing the face gallery set through video streaming, using principal component analysis to feature extraction and designing a classifier based fuzzy membership. To verify face in accordance with the threshold principle of fuzzy pattern recognition. The method is compared to the method of PCA face verification, experimental results shows that the proposed method has higher accuracy and robustness.

Abstract: For the time-space-frequency varying shallow water acoustic channel, we designed a multi-carrier FH-MFSK system, so that it can be reliably transmitted over these channels. This paper also design of a wake-up signal, and synchronization obtain information frame structure, the simulation result of the algorithm is presented. In the core of DSPC6747 chip, with class D power amplifier, we designed a reasonable layout, stable and reliable hardware circuit. By simulation, adding noise experiments, and water pool experiments verify the good performance of the system, a very low bit error rate (BER) communications were archived.

Abstract: We use Conditional Random Fields (CRFs) to classify regions in an image. CRFs provide a discriminative framework to incorporate spatial dependencies in an image, which is more appropriate for classification tasks as opposed to a generative framework. In this paper we apply CRFs to the image multi-classification task, we focus on three aspects of the classification task: feature extraction, the Original feature clustering based on K-means, and feature vector modeling base on CRF to obtain multiclass classification. We present classification results on sample images from Cambridge (MSRC) database, and the experimental results show that the method we present can classify the images accurately.

Abstract: A new image classification method based on regions of interest (ROI) and sparse representation is introduced in the paper. Firstly, the saliency map of each image is extracted by different methods. Then, we choose sparse representation to represent and classify the saliency maps. Four different ROI extraction methods are chosen as examples to evaluate the performance of the proposed method. Experimental results show that it is more effective for image classification based on ROI.

Abstract: A novel optical communication device is investigated in this paper. The device is a kind of optical switch. The intensity of emergent light is tunable continuously by introducing liquid crystal technique. Holographic technique is used to fabricate this optical device. According to optical theories and through many experiments, the ideal optical switching device can be obtained when the photosensitive monomers are mixed together with liquid crystal with certain weight ratio. The emergent light intensity of liquid crystal grating can be modulated by electric field because of the electric control characteristics of liquid crystal. The output light is only 5% of the incident light when the electric field is more than 15V. Besides, the liquid crystal also has the advantages of large electro-optic coefficient, fast response speed and so on. Consequently, the liquid crystal grating has immense potential productivity in passive optical communication device such as optical switching and variable optical attenuator.

Abstract: Using C51 SCM, a set of simple infrared communication system has been designed through combining with the infrared devices, and infrared wireless communication has been implemented in short distance within the function. It is different with the general infrared remote controller that doesn’t use coding and decoding chip to realize the coding and decoding of the sending and receiving, but through the SCM encoding and decoding procedures to achieve the sending and receiving of infrared signal, so as to realize the communication function of infrared remote control.

Abstract: To the question of deficient precision of multiple CMOS image sensors exposed synchronously,a parameter-configured scheme is presented. With their serial interfaces, Micron’s 1/2 inch 3-megapixel CMOS digital image sensors are programmed and used. The parameter-configured scheme gets a synchronous precision in a time scale of microseconds. This precision is 29 times faster than that of the system design requirements. FPGA simulation and Signal TapII test results are demonstrated. Finally, the application result of the parameter-configured scheme is given.

Abstract: Current diagnosis with computed tomography (CT) imaging relies heavily on doctors’ clinical experience and it is difficult to accurately identify and localize lesions from thousands of CT images. Therefore, computer-aided diagnosis with automatic lesion extraction will be helpful for doctors in the diagnosis of liver diseases. In this paper, we proposed a new method for automatic liver lesion extraction from CT images by combining DRLSE (distance regularized level set evolution) and region growing. The method was applied in abdominal CT images with a single liver cancerous lesion and multiple hemangioma lesions at different locations. The results demonstrated the feasibility of our method for automatic lesion extraction with improved diagnostic accuracy and time efficiency.

Abstract: With the development of network technology, mobile smart devices and application technology in intelligent community. Mobile smart devices play an increasingly important role in future in intelligent community. Traditional fixed terminal mode in intelligent community will be increasingly evolved into the mobile terminals. Considering the current situation and weakness of intelligent community system and combining with its future trend, this paper comes up with the design and implementation of mobile terminal multimedia communication system in intelligent community based on SIP, STUN in android platform.
