Abstract: Throughout the history of the development of piles, they play an important role in the progress of humanity. And along with the advance of modern science and technology and social development, pile foundation has been great development. There is a rise of piles called special-shape piles in recent years, which shows strong adaptability of modern construction. Compared with traditional circular pile, emerging pile has developed rapidly, showing extraordinary to adapt to the modern trend of pile foundation construction. Some characteristics of new type of pile has been developed and put into practical use, and good results have been achieved.

Abstract: in this paper, elastic-plastic time history analysis was carried out on the new power plant structure jointing the boiler steel frame and high-level framework workshop. Results show that main factory building structure owns rather excellent integration stiffness, good seismic performance and outstanding ability to resist lateral deformation. In addition, the interlayer displacement angle satisfies the requirement of seismic deformation calculation under severe earthquake action.

Abstract: When a skew bridge is analyzed, it is difficult to treat skew boundary conditions with general space beam element in single beam calculation of skew beam bridge. The stiffness of skew bridge cannot be simulated efficiently. In order to improve the accuracy of skew bridge, the stiffness matrix of the space skew beam element is derived based on the principle of minimum potential in this paper, this element is suitable for single beam of skew bridge and grillage method. A corresponding program is completed by Visual C++, the calculated results of different finite element models are compared, so the validity of the proposed model in this paper is validated. This paper can provide reference for plane and space calculation of the skew bridge design.

Abstract: Reference to the proposed research results and abroad specification, T-stub connection is widely used in engineer steel connection. The calculation of moment-rotation curve for this connection be proposed. The parameters which can connect directly reflect the moment of nodes nodes-the impact corner, By comparing the calculated results with finite element results prove that this method can be a good trend and finite element results coincide.

Abstract: In the paper, the existing unreasonable place of the calculation formula of the bearing capacity of single pile is put forward. Through analyzing the failure mechanism of the soil up and under the Multi-under-reamed, the method for calculating the ultimate bearing capacity of soil around the PEMUR pile can be determined by using the slide-line theory, and the calculation formula of the bearing capacity of single pile of the PEMUR pile is further revised and perfected.

Abstract: Steel-Basalt FRP Composite Bar (S-BFCB) is a new kind of substitute material for longitudinal reinforcement, with high elastic modulus, stable post-yield stiffness and excellent corrosive resistance. It is made up of steel wrapped by basalt FRP in longitudinal direction. Based on mechanical properties of S-BFCB and the plane cross-section assumption, the moment-curvature relationship and stiffness on flexural members at different stages have been analyzed and verified by experiment. Flexural member reinforced by S-BFCB can make full use of the strength of FRP. By the principle of equivalent bar stiffness, the results show that the curvature and stiffness are almost the same results at pre-yield stage. While after yield, flexural member reinforced by S-BFCB has stable secondary stiffness and high bearing capacity. With the increase of fiber, the ultimate bearing capacity is improved.

Abstract: This paper introduces the failure law of the floating structures by an engineering examples of the up-floating accident. The reasons of the accident are insufficience of anti-floating anchor rod, short of the length of anchor rod and early termination of precipitation, according to the analysis about the design and the construction information. Through the new anti-floating anchor and new reinforced concrete slab, the whole anti-uplift and partial anti-uplift of underground parts of the floating structure are strengthened. The frame columns and beams with cracking damage caused by the up-floating accident are strengthened with enlarging section method and the enclosure steel method.

Abstract: This article researches seismic performance of the joint of cellular steel column and steel beam through simulation of the finite element software. With the change of axial force, we can attain the load-displacement hysteretic curves, skeleton curves under the different axial compression ratio, and then analyze their bearing capacity, ductility, energy dissipation and other mechanical properties. Results show that, the decrease of axial compression ratio is helpful to improve the bearing capacity of specimens. The joints of cellular steel column and steel beam have full hysteretic curve, good ductility and seismic performance.

Abstract: Composite concrete filled steel tubular (CFST) column is a new type of column having high ductility and high load-bearing capacity. In this paper, the finite element analysis software ABAQUS is used to study the seismic performance of 3D joint of composite CFST column and steel beam. The hysteretic curve and skeleton curve are obtained by changing the strength grade of the steel beam; calculate the energy dissipation ratio of the joint. The results show that the higher the beam’s steel strength the higher ultimate capacity of the joint in the constant axial load. But the full degree of hysteresis curve, energy dissipation and displacement ductility of the space joint decrease.
