Abstract: The development of German transportation has always been adhered to the sustainable development strategy which is dominated by eco-transportation. This paper is aimed at expounding the development situation of German ecological comprehensive transportation from the aspects of philosophy and method to transportation planning, development of ecological comprehensive transportation, passenger transportation, passenger and freight transportation hub and non-motorized transportation, etc. Combined with China's reality, this paper is also aimed at summarizing the developmental experience of German comprehensive transportation from the macro level and providing experience and reference for the development of China's comprehensive transportation.

Abstract: Road network vulnerability is the loss estimate of multiple-link failure in road network cause by unplanned incidents. To evaluate road network vulnerability, the research adopted the improved Beckmann and FIM composite pattern. Then it carries out a solution based on Genetic Algorithm to quantify the road network vulnerability by defining the condition of combination road sections (open or closed) in road network which can find the critical links and nodes in the road network at the same time. The research turns out to be helpful both on road network planning and planning process of resource allocation for mitigation and recovery under disruption (take the snow disaster in southern China for instance).

Abstract: Parking is difficult in today's social problems faced by big cities. To solve this problem, a new parking facility planning and design was required and the parking demand forecast is a very important step in this process. The paper first discusses the necessity of parking demand forecast and the development process of parking demand forecast model, then a few parking demand forecasting model were compared and analyzed, final the motor vehicle OD method was selected to forecast parking demand according to the characteristics of the parking demand forecast and urban transport planning simultaneously. The results show that the precision of prediction results is acceptable.

Abstract: With the improvement of China's international status, integrated transport concept has become firmly rooted. Integrated urban rail transport system as part of comprehensive transportation has become an important means to ease urban traffic problems, is not only an urgent demand for transport services and residents, but also the need to build a conservation-oriented society. In this paper, for the current problems of urban transport ,research on building the rail transportation system of Hohhot, considering from the city policy, technology, economics, management aspects, etc., demonstrate the reasonableness of the transport system construction, technically advanced and the economic viability and feasibility of construction management while analyzing factors affecting the construction of rail transportation system, thus providing a scientific basis for investment and decision-making.

Abstract: Enterprises of freight transport on a special route have to own alliance cooperation system with high efficiency in order to build alliance of freight transport. Selecting cooperative partners is the basis for establishing an efficient transportation system. The paper firstly analyzes the principle of selecting cooperative partners of freight transport alliance on a special route, summarizes the indicator system of selecting cooperative partners of freight transport alliance on a special route, establishes analytic hierarchy process model and finally proves the model with examples.

Abstract: With economic development, abundant modes of transport, the quality of people's in demand for travel gradually increases ,and therefore optimizing and improving passenger station service system seems imperative. In order to improve the quality of passenger service, we shall establish a scientific and reasonable evaluation system, through the terminal passenger satisfaction evaluation to determine whether passenger service to make visitors satisfied and propose specific measures to improve service quality for lower service satisfaction. In this paper, Hohhot, as an example, we conducted evaluation studies for passenger station service, and put forward the corresponding improvement suggestions to improve passenger satisfaction, but also proved the feasibility and practicability of the model established in terms of passenger station’s travelers satisfaction evaluation. The study not only can improve the competitiveness of transport companies but also conducive to the future development of the passenger market.

Abstract: Through comprehensive analysis of all aspects of the environment of the Pearl River Delta ports, and the article carries out reasonable positions for ports. Using Grey Relational Theory calculated the related degree between ports and industry. Using the Industry aggregation principle which is based on the Location quotient researches the gathering and transferring trend of industry which is closely related to ports. Further this paper analysised the direction of the transformation and upgrading of the ports. And we can provide the transformation and upgrading path of ports in the Pearl River Delta.

Abstract: Along with the development of economy in our country, the category of the shipping liquefiable solid bulk cargoes is changing, and the volume of transport by ship is increasing. However, lots of accidents on shipping liquefiable solid bulk cargoes occurred in recent years, causing heavy casualties and property losses. To reduce the accident probability, the paper creatively introduces liquid-plastic limit combined method used in the soil test to the quick measurement of the flow moisture point before shipment. By comparing the test results of this method with the flow table method’s, the paper demonstrates the feasibility of this method for the quick measurement of the flow moisture point of shipping liquefiable solid bulk cargoes. Finally, the paper gives some relevant suggestions for subsequent research.

Abstract: Government departments of different areas are needed during the construction and operation process of intelligent transportation systems. So there is a contradiction that systems must be integrated but they need to be constructed and operated by different organizations. The division of the construction mission among different organization and the rules that all the joint members have to obey should be clear so that repetition and confliction in the whole system can be avoided. These modes of mission division are compared in this paper to provide a reference for our ITS construction and operation mode selection.

Abstract: The major difficulties of the operation of loading, unloading and transportation at container terminals are how to schedule berths, quay cranes and trucks more effectively and efficiently. Therefore, how to optimize their configurations effectively and connect them more reasonably is a problem which should be solved eagerly. However, a reasonable and effective optimization model is the basis and the key of this problem. The operation time of container terminals mainly depends on the time of ships in port and the operation time of trucks, quay cranes and yard cranes. So, the objective of this paper is to minimize the sum of these four parts. An optimization model based on some reasonable and necessary hypotheses is proposed and an algorithm and procedure are designed.
