Abstract: This paper proposes a new type of rack-cutter can generates the circular and noncircular conjugate tooth profiles. Based on the envelope theory and coordinate transformation method, the mathematical and geometric models for the conforming rotors design are proposed. A selected smooth continuous curve equation can be assigned as the initial profile for the rack-cutter. Results from this research can be successfully applied to different kinds of tooth profile design of gerotor pumps and rotary machines.

Abstract: The paper describes the interaction design for mobile input method. In order to further the interaction design, we proposed the usability testing to testify the design details in the two new input method interactive prototypes (T9 style keyboard and QT style keyboard). Quantitative data (accuracy rate of keystroke) was collected which was used to measure the effectiveness of different styles of buttons and related UI designs in the demos. And the users’ subjective attitudes and user experiences on the different design were collected through interactive demo. Finally the user research and usability testing results improve the validity of meaning-centered design approach for input method.

Abstract: Along with the rapid development of computer technology and CIMS technology, virtual prototyping in product design and manufacturing process are playing an increasingly important role. Based on the analysis the function of virtual prototype, the development platform architecture of virtual prototype for mechanical products is proposed in this paper. Furthermore, the integrated framework process, which is support the pump design, testing, operation, is analyzed in detail. The running case of virtual prototyping environment of pump assembly shows that the application of virtual prototyping technology provides a new idea and means for new product development and product performance improvement.

Abstract: After entering into the World Trade Organization,domestie farm produce market gradually melt into the international market. Thus as one of the most important oil plants,the soybean also receives the press from the international market. Consequenily,it is an important meaning to build the foreeast-warning system of soybean market for domestic soybean industry. In this paper,undergoing to survey the actuality of domestic soybean product,the output,demand and import of the soybean are forecasted using the method of the BPNN and the modified Logistic model.Two irnportant warning alert index of domestic soybean market, that is the dependence degree of the soybean import and the increasing ratio of the price of the soybean,are built the foreeast-warning model.In the end, suggestions corresponding to the early warning conclusion are given.

Abstract: Opto-eletrical stabilization/tracking device has the precision request to improve the stabilization/tracking accuracy due to its wide use on mobile measurement. The paper firstly sums up the error sources based on the system principle of stabilization and tracking, and expatiates the effect of some error items including disturbance moment, geometrical error, and assembling error of gyro etc. Furthermore, according as the probability theory, the paper expresses the comprehensive accuracy uniformly, and obtains the evaluation method of device accuracy. Finally, it gives the example of evaluation on the direct stabilization/tracking device. The research may be useful to the error estimation during system’s design phase, but also system optimization of performance, error compensation.

Abstract: This paper discusses and analysis the constant voltage of vehicle applied permanent magnet generator. The permanent magnet can produce magnetic field in an air gap with no excitation winding and no dissipation of electric power, when the rotor turns, the magnet field turns, the generator generates electricity, with the permanent magnet material of high remnant magnetic induction and the optimized design of the generator, the output voltage is improved when the engine at low speed. We develop a single-phase double half-wave electric regulator is to ensure the stability of the output voltage and can direct output direct current.

Abstract: By introducing an additional vector, a new delay-dependent controller is designed for stochastic systems with time delay in this paper. The presented controller is formulated by means of LMI, and it guarantees robust asymptotical mean-square stability of the resulting closed-loop system. Our result shows advantage over some existing ones, which is demonstrated by a numerical example.

Abstract: Wireless sensor networks are frequently used to monitor temperature and other manufacturing parameters in recent years. However, the limited battery life posts a constraint for large sensor networks. In this work, thermoelectric energy harvester is designed to effectively convert the heat into electrical energy to power the wireless sensor node. Bismuth telluride thermoelectric modules are optimized for low temperature conditions. Charge pump and switching regulator based power management module is designed to efficiently step up the 500mV thermoelectric voltage to 3.0V level for wireless sensor nodes. This design employs electric double-layer capacitor based energy storage with considerations on practical wireless sensor node operation. The implemented energy harvester prototype is proposed for Tyndall wireless sensor system to monitor temperature and relative humidity in manufacturing process. The prototype was tested in various conditions to discover the issues in this practical design. The proposed prototype can expect a 15 years operative lifetime instead of the 3-6 months battery lifetime.

Abstract: In this paper, methane adsorption in single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) has been simulated by using the grand canonical ensemble Monte Carlo (GCMC) method. Lennard-Jones (LJ) potential is used to represent the fluid-fluid interaction, and integral method is used to calculation of the potential between fluid molecules and carbon atoms. In the simulation, adsorption isotherms of methane in the (15, 15), (20, 20), (25, 25) and (30, 30) SWNT are simulated.

Abstract: With the development of information processing technology, DCT has been used more and more widely. But multidimensional DCT hasn’t unified matrix expressions, and operates using 1-D DCT to each dimension successively, which cannot embody the overall space character of multidimensional transform well. So, a new SDCT method was proposed in the paper. First, several matrix operation methods were defined. Then, the operation principle of 1-D DCT, 2-D DCT and 3-D SDCT was described in detail. The theoretical analysis shows that the SDCT makes DCT unified and succinct to express, easy to comprehend and convenient to operate.
