Abstract: Small towns in cold region own special ecological environment. Aiming at their particular climate characteristics, the green space system planning of small towns in cold region was studied. Through analyzing the problems of the green space system planning of small towns in cold region, the study proposes five levels planning strategy, including developing the regional integrated green space system planning of small towns in cold region, building the stable green network structure of town, improving quantity and quality of green space of small towns in cold region, strengthening winter landscape construction of small towns in cold region, and inheriting ice and snow culture of small towns in cold region, in order to promote the sustainable development of green space system planning of small towns in cold region.

Abstract: The location of Su prince tomb of Ming dynasty followed the geomantic site selection principle in ancient times. The tombs which were surrounded with mountains and the water formed the environment of hiding the wind and gathering the water. Through to the geomantic pattern's research and the discussion of Su prince tomb geomantic site selection, this article proposed that the thought of coordinated with nature and the idea of ecological and sustainable development.

Abstract: After the classical end of colonialism and its overall value, using their knowledge of Western powers in the Third World discourse plays a dominant role. China's current landscape design is the product of a strong culture and weak culture in the context of unequal power differentials dialogue. In a period of cultural globalization denied the essential characteristics of the national culture and cultural identity, the Chinese landscape design should promote national culture, which is China's real development of modern landscape orientation.

Abstract: This article analyzes the general characteristics and its causes of the landscape pattern of land use, taking the Tuanjie town of DaoWai district in Harbin as an example. Using GIS and Fragstats software to calculate a series of landscape index, the data show that Tuanjie town is given priority to with agriculture landscape, and the landscape patch connectivity is stronger; the overall landscape patch shape is complex, showing the human activities interfere significantly; and each patch type concentration and fragmentation is quite different. Therefore, based on the use of their own advantages, put forward reasonable suggestions to the landscape optimization of Tuanjie town land use.

Abstract: The road infrastructure is one of the most important factors in the process of urbanization.The paper combined with the specific circumstances and characteristics of urbanization in Shaanxi province and road infrastructure, through the use of panel data model, empirical analysis of road infrastructure to influence on the urbanization of Shaanxi province .The results showed that the effect of infrastructure, highway of Shaanxi province urbanization significantly, especially the influence of highway, first-class road, etc,high-class road of Shaanxi province urbanization is the most significant, and to a certain extent, led to the urbanization of Shaanxi province appeared in Guanzhong Area Urban obviously higher rates and Northern Shaanxi, Nouth Shaanxi town the rate of agglomeration is low.

Abstract: The cultural heritage resources along Weihe river system in Xi’an Metropolitan Area are diverse, with the feature of linear distribution. Nevertheless the existing heritage sites in protection are separated and unrelated, in addition the surrounding environment has been destroyed to a large extent, and thus the requirement for regional protection of heritage is urgent. On the basis of theory and methodology of Heritage Corridor, initial surveys of local heritage have been done, the basic data and information has been combed, heritage constitution as well as features of spatial and diachronic distribution has been discussed, heritage value has been analyzed, and then the concept and thought of the construction of Weihe Water System Heritage Corridor in Xi’an Metropolitan Area is proposed, to provide basic research framework for regional heritage protection.

Abstract: Green space system planning is the most direct method to improve urban ecological environment from the perspective of planning. However, traditional way of green space system planning exposes its limitation of paying attention to only urban area, accompanied by the prominent appeal for the enhancement of urban ecological environment and living environment quality. Therefore, the study gives a preliminary discussion on the method of green spaces system planning based on GI theory by introducing the concept and characteristic of GI, and proposes urban-rural integrated green space environment formed by the organic combination of Hubs, Links, and Sites and an urban green space system able to keep the integrality and consecutiveness of natural ecological process, which offers reference for green space system planning of the new era.

Abstract: Numerical simulation of air flow over urban areas is an effective way to analyze and predict the wind environment. This paper presents two dimensional computer model results concerning the effects of buildings and/or a hill on the wind flow. The RANS equations and RNG κ-ε turbulence model used in the simulation are discretized by the finite volume method. The computational solution is based on a pressure correction algorithm of the SIMPLE-type. The inflow boundary conditions are given by wind tunnel experiment. In the presence of only a street canyon formed by two buildings, the ambient wind is accelerated and slightly curved at the roof level. When there exist a hill and a street canyon, the velocity in the canyon is affected by the upwind hill. Another simulation model, which has a hill and two street canyons, is used for comparison. There is a little difference in velocity between a single street canyon and two canyons in the presence of an upwind hill.

Abstract: IntroductiNew urbanization is an important principle of promoting urbanization in our country. It’s also a major opportunity to achieve leapfrog-transformation development for Shanxi Province. According to China's new urbanization concept, explained the significance of the new urbanization construction in Shanxi Province. According to relevant statistics and related data analyses the current situation and the current problems of urbanization construction in Shanxi Province thus made recommendations of the urbanization construction of Shanxi Province accordingly.
