Abstract: Nowadays faced with opportunities and challenges under a rapid urbanization, it is severe existing situations of rural area in Northwest China. From the village planning to its house construction, we need to follow the ecological and sustainable way, emphasize the application on ecology in architecture, inherit and revolution local history and culture, pass on the indigenous eco-experience and utilize the modern techniques to solve the organic replenishment of the traditional dwelling. To establishing the ecological rural community in Northwest China, that is our goals, push the ecological process of Northwest country forward.

Abstract: Harbin is a major city in the north of China,the evolution of spatial morphology is effected by special geographical environment and rich history. Its urban pattern has common features as other waterfront cities in north of China, and also has own uniqueness. The paper starts from the analysis of evolution of spatial morphology,divides the history of Harbin into 3 stages,analyses the evolution and cause of each stage,and proposes the development direction of Harbin to provide reference for the waterfront cities in north of China.

Abstract: The recurring frequency of the transportation congestion has risen up sharply for the last decade in Changchun, both inner town and periphery. The decrease of thetransportation efficiency has become the impediment of urban function. With the introspection of planning strategy logics, the author proposed a series suggestion, that the strategy should based upon the sustainabletargets, that the controlling of the urban traffic needs should be the first principal, and the interacting with urbanspatial frameworkshould be in the consideration in transportation planning.

Abstract: As the “fifth facade”of building,roof is one of the approaches to promote sustainable urban development for its advantages.This paper demonstrates the benefits of roof greening on living conditions and energy efficiency,puts forward some advisements about combining the application of roof greening technology with Geography and climate,pursuing the accordance in nature ,economy and resources.

Abstract: With regard to planning theory and practical construction of Early-modern City Planning in Wuzhou, the paper discusses the historic city regeneration was adhere to old city structure and regional resource at early stage, and new planning refer to technology of ideal cities in Europe and America later. It also analyzes the urban morphology for the "Road Construction→Historic City Renovation→Experimental Regional Planning" process, summarizes the activities of Wuzhou early-modern city planning and construction has “Arcades City” characteristic.

Abstract: In this paper, Boxue village is taken as an typical example of Yangshan traditional volcanic villages, where regional features are well kept. Nowadays, under the policy background of creating Hainan “international tourism island”, the villagers are spontaneously constructing their hometown an ecological community for characteristic agricultural tourism, while protecting traditional village style. By introducing the process of village development planning design with the assistance of a professional team, the practical significance of this development model villages for traditional local volcanic protection and utilization is thought about.

From the ranking result, it is known that the EU smart city construction has the following characteristics: The level of EU smart city development is not balanced. Smart move, smart people and the smart life is better overall development. The development of the city itself is not balanced.

Abstract: The old capital of Montenegro Cetinje, developed in the immediate surroundings of the centuries-long cities, grudgingly applying their proven experiences for their political and economic position, especially because of their specific roles during the development. Considering these facts, that the development of Cetinje took place in other flows in relation to the old towns in the region, developing in entirely other principles, which made it specific in those days. The article outlines the prerequisites for the development of the capital of Montenegro at the crossroads of east and west, and at that time of two worlds, Islam and Christianity, what determined its economic and social development of the mediation between the coast and hinterland.
