Abstract: Freeway and expressway are the main supporters for the long and fast travel demand in metropolitan area, which play the vital roles in urban transportation system, producing huge transport efficiency. In this context, the integration of both in planning and construction is one of the important measures to alleviate the urban traffic problem. Specifically, the following question should be focused on: How to predict the scale of them. In this paper, based on demand analyzing and supply characteristics of freeway and expressway system, a supply-demand balance method for predicting the integrated scale of freeway and expressway was conducted, and the supply-demand balance model was established. Finally, an applied research was carried out as an example in Zhenjiang metropolitan area.

Abstract: A method was proposed to reduce the amount of train stock by optimizing the passenger train departure time domain. The objective function is the minimum total turn-round time of passenger train stock. The constraints include the dwell time in departure station and turn-back station, the interval time. The optimization model of the passenger train departure time domain was built. Design the heuristic algorithm to solve the proposed model. Taking the Zhengzhou station as an example, each passenger train departure time domain is calculated by utilizing the proposed model. Comparing the calculated departure time domain with the real departure time, the effectiveness of the model is calculated.

Abstract: Take Zhengzhou Strategic Projection Base as the typical object, by analyzing its operating process and equipments, creating simulation models, determining input parameters, running simulation models and analyzing the output, this paper tested and evaluated the designed capability indexes, found the working bottlenecks, and provided the basis for optimizing design planning and improving construction efficiency.

Abstract: The reasonable speed limit would reduce the detrimental impact on the driving safety and traffic jam in Highway expansion project high slope work zone. The study based on the investigation of Liu Nan highway’s traffic capacity, speed, traffic flow and other related index, which researched the vehicles queuing length of the different lane width in expansion project construction zone. The result is that 1/2 lane occupied need limit speed step by step in the warning area, 1/3 lane occupied limit 60km/h and 1/4 lane occupied limit 80km/h.

Abstract: With the growing demand of dry bulk in China, sea-rail intermodal transport gets more attention. In order to define the key factors of sea-rail intermodal transport of dry bulk , system dynamic and modeling software VENSIM were used to establish system dynamic model of sea-rail intermodal transport of dry bulk, and the case of sea-rail intermodal transport of dry bulk of Meizhou Bay Port in Fujian was used to simulate and check the model, the result shows that the model is feasible and effective. Finally, the key factors in the model were sensitively analyzed , and suggestions of promoting the development of sea-rail intermodal transport in Meizhou Bay port were made.

Abstract: Based on four categories of indicators, including comprehensive indicators, technical indicators, supporting (managerial) indicators and characteristic indicators, combined with actual characteristics of Chinese highway development, this paper discusses about and builds a green and low-carbon highway evaluation indicators system, and puts forward a set of simple and practical evaluation methods and evaluation standards system; with case study of Linxiang City to Yueyang City (Da-Yue) Expressway in Hunan Province, this paper also conducts empirical pre-evaluation of planning level in 2017, and verifies scientific validity of the indicators system.

Abstract: Stray current is one of the crucial factors affecting safety running for train. It is the first Rail Transit Line for Lanzhou. According to the local geological data, line direction, crossing Yellow River, building conditions, some measurements were put forward to restrict the stray current leakage in Lanzhou Rail Transit Line 1. Especially, it is very important to prevent the water permeating into the soil connecting to the railway. Corresponding protection scheme was laid down in this paper. The protection scheme in this study has very important role in the safe operation, system improvement and maintenance process for Lanzhou Rail Transit Line 1.

Abstract: After classifying the Beijing subway transfer stations into different types, a comprehensive investigation on entire transfer stations of Beijing subway is conducted. According to the transfer station characteristics with respect to interchange form, transfer time and passenger flow volume during rush hours, some problems of Beijing subway transfer stations are analyzed. Then, some suggestions are offered to provide theoretical reference for the planning and operation of subway transfer stations.

Abstract: At present, rail transit in China is booming. At the same time, some big cities are undergoing a crucial stage of adjustment of urban spatial structure. Therefore, it is significant to study the relationship between the development of rail transit and the evolution of urban spatial structure. This paper reviews the development of Guangzhou rail transit and the evolution of Guangzhou urban spatial structure, and discusses the relationship between them. The conclusion is that there is interactive relationship between the development of rail transit and the evolution of urban spatial structure, and the construction and planning of rail transit should coordinate with the current condition and future planning of urban spatial structure. During network planning, the focus should not only be placed on the rail transit project itself, but the construction of a scientific and reasonable urban spatial structure, so that rail transit can contribute to sustainable urban development.

This paper will explain what is vulnerability of subway system, and the meaning of doing this research. Meanwhile, it also includes to analyze factors which influencing the vulnerability.
