Abstract: Wind power heating utilization had been studied in this paper. The wind power heating system basic principle, system architecture, operating mode and key characteristics were investigated. The significant matching capability between wind power output and electric boiler had been analyzed, and the wind power heating utilization will be suitable in regional area for improving the locally wind accommodation. Finally, the dispatching problem and suggestion of actual heating wind farm were put forward.

Abstract: Active distribution network with energy storage system is an important outlet for a mass of distributed renewable energy connected to the grid. In this context, a hybrid energy storage system is proposed based on NaS battery and lithium ion battery, that the former is the main large scale energy storage technology world-widely used and developed and the latter is a flexible way to have both power and energy capacities. The hybrid energy storage system, which takes advantage of the two complementary technologies to provide large power and energy capacities, is chosen to do an evaluation of economical-environmental based on critical excess electricity production (CEEP), CO2 emission, annual total costs calculated on the specific given condition using Energy PLAN software. The result shows that hybrid storage system has strengths in environmental benefits and also can absorb more discarded wind power than single storage system and is a potential way to push forward the application of wind power and even other types of renewable energy resources.

Abstract: Eastern Inner Mongolia is by now one of the areas with the most rapid development of wind power in China. There exists mismatching between wind power supply ability and level of local economy. Thus, wind farms will be inevitability partly involved in peak shaving. The researches on accuracy assessment on wind power forecasting and estimation of power rationing quantity on condition of wind power curtail contribute to provide effective data evidence for scheduling and dispatching operations. In this paper, a new method for accuracy assessment on wind power forecasting and estimation of power rationing quantity through calculating theoretical power were presented first. Then, the algorithm of theoretical power calculation was presented. Case study proved the feasibility and effectiveness of the method. The conclusion indicated that the method has feasible and objective mean for accuracy assessment on wind power forecasting on condition of wind power curtail, which can provide objective and accurate theoretical and data support for dispatching and scheduling operations on condition of wind power curtail.

Abstract: Wind power is very important for low carbon energy strategy. Baicheng city has rich wind energy resources as the regional energy base of national key planning in western Jilin. This paper first analyzes the development situation of the wind power industry in Baicheng. Secondly the main problems of the wind power industry are analyzed, mainly including Lack of comprehensive planning for wind power development, high wind power capacity but low grid electricity, serious phenomenon of abandoning the wind power, lagging supporting power grid construction, and depression of the wind power industry. Finally, the corresponding countermeasures are put forward , including to unify thought and plan overall, to make policy of wind power development, to develop new ways to wind power used, to construct smart power grids and to promote the comprehensive development of wind power industry.

Abstract: In recent years, the scale of wind power development is increasing in southwest. The space of power accommodated capacity has become an important factor in the development of wind power. Combining with the characteristics of the electricity market development in southwest, this paper uses the power balance to research the wind power admitting ability. By comparison, a forecasting method which is based on the gray method to forecast the minimum value of main net power is put forward. According to the characteristics of the supply and power balance in the region, the wind power admitting capacity is forecasted. Finally, after the actual simulation, compared with conventional forecasting the method is proved to have high precision and more accurate to predict the local wind power accommodated capacity.

Abstract: China is facing two major problems from energy shortage and environmental pollution due to the rapid development of economy. The exploitation of clean and renewable energy brings hope to China. Owning wide seas, China is rich in offshore wind energy and current tidal energy. This paper considers installing turbines on the platform of the generator of floating wind turbines, designing a floating co-generator of wind and tidal current to achieve co-generation of wind turbines and turbines. Firstly, this paper conducts a preliminary design of three-column floating wind-current generator. Then this paper uses the GeniE and HydroD modules of SESAM to model the co-generator and perform stability analysis. Finally, based on the Catenary Theory, this paper designs mooring system for the co-generator and uses AQWA to perform time-domain analysis, ensuring the steady operation of the co-generator at working seas.

Abstract: Data accuracy and completeness of the wind farm has great significance in wind power research. Because of the wind farm in the process of gathering data and transmission appears distorted and missing, and that leads the accuracy and integrity of data is greatly reduced, so the need for a wind farm data, outlier detection and missing data imputation. This paper outlier detection by statistical method based on 3σ criterion under the normal distribution, and use of the effectiveness of the recently distance interpolation and regression interpolation for missing data, outliers and replacement and interpolation, filled after data and accuracy are improved.

Abstract: Artificial neural network method was used to forecast the wind speed, and two wind speed forecasting models were built based on BP and RBF neural network methods. 24 hours continuous wind speed forecast was conducted for a single wind turbine in wind farm. The results show that the models built are reasonable and have high prediction accuracy. By comparing the two kinds of wind speed forecasting models, BP neural network forecasting model has higher prediction accuracy than RBF neural network forecasting model in wind speed, but it demands much more training time.

Abstract: Firstly, This paper summarizes the development situation of wind power in China, and analyzes the operation characteristics of all types of generating units one by one according to constant speed constant frequency asynchronous wind turbine, double-fed asynchronous wind turbine and direct-driven permanent magnet synchronous wind turbine. Then various effects of wind power integration on power grid are analyzed based on the actual situation of power grid. Finally, according to these effects, various measures of strengthening wind power integration management are proposed from management and technology levels. These measures are generally instructive and applicable to the same types of power grid with wind power.

Abstract: A modeling for dynamic multi-objective power dispatch considering load and wind power variations in wind power integrated system is presented. To deal with the random variables, probabilistic sequence theory is introduced and the operational space is extended. To solve the problem, an improved multi-objective teaching-learning-based optimization algorithm is proposed. Finally, the proposed model and algorithm are tested on a 10-units system including wind farm and the simulation results demonstrate that the proposed model and algorithm are feasible and effective.
