Abstract: The paper presents a new array of oscillating wave energy converter, which is in accordance with nowadays’ research tendency of China: high power, high efficiency, high reliability and low cost. The paper gives the design scheme and design parameters of the new wave energy converter. It's composed of the wave energy converter unit, which can be assembled to arrays based on demand. Besides, the paper analyzes the power generation principle and advantages of the device. The research results could be a reference for wave energy’s exploration and utilization.

Abstract: In this study, a hybrid ground-source heat pump (GSHP) system with surface water heat exchangers is employed in an exhibition building in Shanghai to provide with high-efficiency energy for space cooling and heating and also solve the problem of thermal imbalance of the soil because of a significant imbalance between the annual heat rejection to the ground and the annual heat extraction from the ground. The operation strategies were put forward based on the annual building hourly load to make the hybrid GSHP system in a high-efficiency status during the long-term operation. The results show that the hybrid GSHP system can effectively solve the heat accumulation problem and decrease in system performance for the ten-year long run.

Abstract: In order to clarify the operation and performance of ground source heat pump in severe cold regions, the paper based on the demonstration project about ground source heat pump at Yifu teaching building of Jilin Jianzhu University, expounds the profile of the demonstration project and the data monitoring program of the system about ground source heat pump, shows monitoring data of the running condition in winter in line with the demonstration project and analyses the monitoring data briefly. The result shows that the heating effect of ground source heat pump system is favorable and ground source heat pump system is obviously environmental and energy saving.

Abstract: In order to install the wave power facilities in ocean and coastal area, it is very important to determine the properties of wave data. Discrete wavelet packet transform was applied in this study and was used as a tool to find out the basic properties of waves around Namae coast. Important features of hydrodynamic pressure such as frequency and magnitude were investigated in different observation time. Also the idea of measuring the noise rate was introduced and applied to both stationary and non-stationary time spans for the comparison. These methods would be useful to check the feasibility of wave energy extraction in various types of coasts.

Abstract: The closed bay formed by a tidal power plant on the west coast of Korea has caused water quality to change due to nutrient increase and salinity alternation. The nutrients of the inner bay are often kept a balance with the aid of the outflow at the mouth of the bay. Hence it is necessary to minimize the environmental effects by forecasting the potential environmental changes caused by a tidal power construction. Seasonal observations of mass balance in the inner and outer Garolim Bay were performed. The low quality nutrients released from sediments, land and river were more dominant than the nutrients released from the outer bay in the study area. It was observed that the tidal power plant construction made water exchange ratio 57%.Various mitigation strategies such as water gates were studied so that the water exchange rate can be reduced. The change in the water exchange ratio is significantly reduced as the cross-section and the number of water gates is increased. The water exchange ratio was decreased by 8%, which increased nutrients in the inner bay. Results of numerical the nutrients decreased with the 7% increase in the inflow while the decrease in outflow discharges. However, it is considered only 0.2% increase in the entire mass balance of Garolim Bay relatively inadequate to mitigate the environmental impact.

Abstract: Against the background of many countries and regions in the world facing energy crisis in the modern society, the development of renewable energy is an inevitable choice. As a non-polluting, renewable, large reserve, widely distributed energy, the development and utilization of renewable wave energy will become the focus. In order to cast a brick to attract jade, this article intends to a preliminary research on the advantage of wave energy, the evaluation on wave energy resource. At last, we also assess the characteristic of wave energy resource in the South China Sea. We hope this study can provide reference for the evaluation of developing wave energy, especially the sustainable development of remote islands.

Abstract: Faced with two problems of energy shortage and environmental pollution, people focus on the development of renewable energy resources. Geothermal energy is the most realistic and competitive one among the renewable energy resources. Besides its reserves is abundant. Geothermal energy is widely used in many fields. Geothermal power generation technologies are introduced and whether dry stream power generation method, ORC or KC method is elected depends on the temperature of geothermal water. Geothermal heating is the simplest, most economic and most effective utilization of low temperature geothermal energy. There are also various applications in industry for geothermal energy. Geothermal water is more and more popular in health care. In addition, geothermal energy is used in planting and breeding. Cascade utilization is the most promising way for geothermal energy because the energy efficiency is the highest. Two comprehensive utilization projects are discussed in this paper. Then ground source heat pump is introduced.

Abstract: The main ideas of optimization technique for allocation scheme and hydro power plant (HPP) parameters with respect to regional peculiarities are described in the article. The problem is discussed using rivers channel network. Energy, economic, social, ecological, water-energy and resource specific regional peculiarities are taken into account. Rivers channel network water energy cadastre calculations have been formalized. Algorithm for hydro power plant optimal location search and HPP number at rivers channel network have been developed. Main hydro power plant parameters are substantiated for each of numerous location variants based on formalized water energy calculations.

Abstract: Nuclear power plants (NPP) have to face urgent requirement of participating in peak load regulation of power grid. The peak load regulation performances of NPP were researched. Based on the calculation and analysis on peak load regulation cost and benefit of NPP, the location, criterion and peak balance algorithm of NPP participating in peak regulation were proposed. Results of the actual research show that NPP possesses better ability of peak load regulation and the cost is lower, so NPP can participate in daily peak load regulation, which will improve both security and flexibility of power grid and enhance the efficiency of resource configuration. However, the depth and speed of peak load regulation by NPP are restricted by security and economy.

Abstract: The inventions is based on the principle of piezoelectric, using the changes of people walking in gravity driven linkage corresponding cutting magnetic lines to produce inductive current. It includes the two-way generation technology, and by parallel and assembly of generator, it finally realizes a newly energy-saving movable piezoelectric carpet. After analysis and calculation, when pressing one device, the power generation is about 75.843J. Taking a university for example, the average profits of a set of devices is up to 50000yuan. So it has high value both in economic and study.
