Abstract: As the traditional construction of stress components, column bases became a typical representative of the perfect unity of Chinese traditional architectural structure component and art component with its rich shapes and vivid carving. For thousands of years, column bases bearing the essence of Chinese traditional culture and religion in the form of objects, and it also showing the exquisite building techniques of Chinese architects in visual form of art. The evolution of pillar bases is not only the epitome of the development of Chinese traditional architectural decorative art, but also the indispensable bright spots of Chinese traditional architectural art.
The column base, commonly known as “Sang Pan” or “column base stock”, which is the foundation under the column. It is a significant component under the column in wooden structure which could increase the stressed area, prevent moisture, keep smoothing as well as prevent the column from moving or sinking and strengthen the pressure. The column base was come into being for demand of enginery in ancient architechtures and had experienced the progress from hiding underground to cropping out. The changes of the column base’s position had made visual changes to the single straight column, with the function of load-bearing and decoration at the same time. For thousands of years, column bases bearing the essence of Chinese traditional culture and religion in the form of objects, and it also showing the exquisite building techniques of Chinese architects in visual form of art. The evolution of pillar bases is not only the epitome of the development of Chinese traditional architectural decorative art, but also the indispensable bright spots of Chinese traditional architectural art. Abstract: The publication is devoted to development of neogothic architecture in Russia. The little-known facts concerning features of a shaping of architectural forms in neogothic stylistics of the XIX century are considered. The comparative analysis of domestic and foreign monuments of architecture of neogothic style is carried out. Features of development of domestic neogothic public and industrial buildings are accented.

Abstract: Russian exposition pavilions at world and international fairs, expressive and unique in their artistic formulation, were always among the most visible national buildings. Beginning with the first structures at the 1867 World Fair in Paris, Russia presented medieval Russian architectural forms at all subsequent exhibitions. An important feature of Russia’s exhibition building abroad was the supreme desire to achieve high quality despite the fact that the structures were doomed to destruction. Russian architects strove to create an original image of the national exhibition pavilion, and so their appeal to medieval Russian architecture was natural. The path followed by Russia when participating in world and international exhibitions was not chosen by chance. This was the route to Russia’s assertion of her national culture in the West.

Abstract: Outdoor advertisement is an important part of city image. As a famous tourist town with rich cultural heritage, Yangliuqing should pay more attention to its outdoor advertisements so as to increase its appeal. Yet, relevant researches reveal that there exits many problems regarding to advertisements in Yangliuiqing. The author makes a detailed analysis of the current situation of outdoor advertisements in Yangliuqing and proposes corresponding strategies to improve the situation. Through combined efforts of all groups, the potential of outdoor advertisements in Yangliuqing will be realized in the future.

Abstract: Under the background of digital times,We are committed to solved these problems which are based on the solution to the problems of social attitudes of contemporary Wuhan citizen from the perspective of public art. Current Wuhan public art is not merely the aesthetic object, but a medium to publicize urban spirit and express public will and citizens ’ personality. The forms of expressions of public art in digital times are highly enriched and diversified; as for Wuhan, a city with distinct characteristics, the public properties of public art should give priority to citizens’ involvement. In order to propel this interactivity, we conducts strategy research so as to improve citizens’ overall aesthetic quality, reproduce urban characteristics of Wuhan and boost urban image of Wuhan by means of public art.

Abstract: With the vigorous development of China's civil aviation industry and the advertising industry in recent years, airport image as a "commanding city height" has increasingly attracted attention of many as an ideal place for advertising and corporation image display. Airport advertising communication constitutes audience including government officials, high-level policy makers, corporate travel managers and travelers, in which high-income earners and foreign guests take a higher proportion. Airport advertising (on free media and aviation propaganda machine business supplies media) main involves two categories: outdoor advertising on the airport perimeter and expressway and advertising inside the terminal. In a broad sense, they all belong to the category of outdoor advertising.

Abstract: As a high-efficient travel mode in modern city, the metro can not only relieve the ground traffic pressure, but also become the exhibition hall of the urban culture showing us the soul and value of the city. Metro visual communication design of developed countries in the world is almost closely related to the origin of urban culture, then the metro culture with local specialties has been formed. Therefore, comparative study on status quo of metro visual communication design both at home and abroad can direct the integration and regeneration of urban metro visual communication design and urban culture of China, as well as the formation and development of the metro culture.
